Let’s face it, Microsoft took a GIANT gamble & it is failing spectacularly. COD, Overwatch, Diablo, all on the down slide. Then they have WoW just sitting there & they double down on not bringing it to consoles. It defies logic on so many counts!

And they wonder why their business is crumbling…🤔

A huge amount of JRPG players are on the 2nd highest selling console of all time, huge mistake on Sega’s part, presumably it will come to Switch 2 now.

Very misleading headline implying it may or may not be in production & media wonders why the public doesn’t trust them, its stunts like this on a daily basis.

They have no idea what they’re doing half the time, Final Fantasy has been so mismanaged, it’s just a shell of its former self, the only franchise they haven’t ruined yet is Dragon Quest!

Games media over here talking about the next game & the current one is a broken mess, how about asking Bethesda what they’re gonna do to fix their game instead?

This will most likely be a disaster, I predict in 5-7 years they license it back to external publishers due to the costs & risks associated with doing it yourselves .

The lack of a physical presence at retail stores & being Epic exclusive on PC doomed this game from the start, they got no one to blame but themselves on this one!

They never said it was getting DLC, just another useless media article trying to make something out of a bunch of vocal crybabies, they’ll survive!

People are just sick & tired of generic online shooters, period. That’s how simple it is!

@get2sammyb @Uncharted2007 But it's still a Switch inside the smaller Lite shell, with your comparison Sony's smaller PS2 iterations shouldn't count either.

I bought the Xbox Elite controller & had it fall apart within months so I won't be paying that kind of money again even for my beloved PS5.

$70 US for a spin-off is a wait for sale for me. Most BL fall in price fast & I'm only halfway through Elden Ring after completing Forbidden West last week.

It’s a buggy mess of a game & it keeps changing so much that the game still feels like it’s in beta on Switch.

No campaign, no buy. Did the same for Black Ops IV, that’s an easy $70 saved!

Ya know a website is starving for clicks when it starts reporting **** like this. This is the type of stuff that drives me away as a fan.

I started the Xbox One X version yesterday after they released the day one patch early. Played for 6 hours & encountered no disconnects or graphical issues, there was a weird hit detection issue on one of the mission quests but that could also be contributed to all my team trying to interact with the quest marker at the same time. Loading times are significantly improved, they're still there but much shorter than the demo version. All the cutscenes ran fine, no audio dropouts, overall it was a fantastic experience, looking forward to more tonight.

@Th3solution They can't discount the digital versions without pissing off the retailers carrying the physical version & they know that lazy players will pay full price for the "convenience" of digital.

I’m guessing with a 59% drop in physical sales & record digital sales, that sales are still down overall. A lot of people play Pub G or Fortnite because it’s either free or fairly cheap. Selling all of the MP’s together just puts a big weight around Blackout to sell the package & im not so sure dropping the campaign will pay off in the end. We’ll see how it fairs in the coming weeks.

I’ve purchased every single COD game ever made, this will be the first one I don’t buy. I’m on the fence above it Battlefield about as well, the vignettes they did in Battlefield 1 just didn’t didn’t resonate with me.

That reads like an 8, shocked to see a 6 after reading the actual review.

Yeah I haven't run across too many bugs 20 hours in but that HDR patch is very welcome!! I took a look this morning & the HDR is used incredibly well, one of the best examples I've seen for a game.

One of if not the best exclusive on Xbox One, I absolutely loved it!!

Not worried at all. Sony has always had the widest variety of titles. Hardcore & family titles are fairly well represented on their systems in general, this just makes business sense to start advertising these types of games more at this stage of the game.

It has major performance issues on Xbox One apparently. Hope the PS4 version runs better.

I mean it's great & all but this isn't the type of game that I want to revisit & do PVP & racing on.

It just isn't pulling me in like 3 & 4 did. It had a great opening & then this slog of a "tutorial" happened for the next few hours. I REALLY hope it picks up soon!!

@get2sammyb So it's 4 years old is a minus now for how good of a game it is or isn't? No other Lego game since has done as much in an open world as this game has.

Undercover is still the best Lego game made. 6/10 is way too harsh

Having a blast so far, playing on the PS4 Pro, seems to run fairly well. I'm about 15 hours in & the game really opens up. Combat is really fun & fast paced but less strategic than previous games but enemy AI loves to flank!!

@Roc I agree, I'm having a ton of fun with it. The combat is really fast paced & most of all exciting, the story is decent & there's lots of optional stuff to do if you want. There's that key word again, "optional" quests if you don't want to do them you don't have to but if you enjoy exploring & milking every inch out of a $60 game then it's there for you.

As far as technical issues, I'm playing on PS4 Pro & have had very few framerate issues so far.
