@DG42Velka That would be a retailer specific initiative. Get ready to see millions of PS4's flood into Gamestop's inventory or whatever retailer decides to "trade" them.
@WanderingBullet I think people are expecting it to be a bit more "action" game like. I played it quite a bit this weekend. It could move a tad faster but it's not a deal breaker by any means.
@Gamer83 I think people are thinking their system wouldn't work & that's not the case. Sony isn't that dumb. The games would "scale up" performance the way they do for the hundreds of different variations of PC CPU/GPU setups in the market.
People aren't understanding the article. PC games scale all the time to different graphics cards/CPU's so this is no different. For example, a game may run 1080p/30FPS on the current PS4 & theoretically could run in 1080p/60FPS with more bells & whistles on a beefier PS4. Your system would not be obsolete & you don't HAVE to upgrade, nobody is forcing you to do so.
@BAMozzy There is no way for MS to catch them in sales, that train has left the station, worldwide they're outselling them to 2:1 already. There's nothing MS can do at this point but just keep chugging along in second place & try again next time.
Naughty Dog had major issues with their first PS3 game just months from release and it all came together in those final months, most games do!! These articles are a real disservice to some of the harder working dev teams out there based solely on rumors. You're better than this PushSquare!!
I've had my eye on this one for some time but man did they pick a bad time to release it, as others have said there's just so many games out now & more are coming...(looks at Fallout 4 & Xenoblade Chronicles) I'll put it on my Xmas list and hope Santa brings it. = )
"He would go to the ends of the earth with you Nate, just...don't ask him to."
One of my favorite lines in the series, it says so much about their relationship. This trailer really pulled some heart strings.
@BLPs It most certainly will not be for Xbox. That system is dead in Japan & considering how Japanese centric the series is there is no reason for it to be on a dead console. Considering how dominating the PS4 is worldwide & Shuhei Yoshida's comments on how they're trying to reinvigorate the console market in Japan there is little left for speculation.
I thought the story was decent enough, obviously they're going to milk it out for the coming years so I was sort of expecting this. The gunplay is so damn solid, I mean seriously it's one of the best shooters you will ever play mechanically speaking. Every gun, powerup, blade throw etc just seem natural and fluid.
However, the fact that you can't group up automatically with strangers for the daily & weekly challenges is a real bummer. They're needs to be some sort of chat system in the tower so you can wrestle up parties who want to perform similar objectives. I can't believe they didn't think this wouldn't be an issue. Matchmaking is very smooth but if your friends aren't online the same time as you then it's going to be real tough to get those weekly strikes completed. They need to put matchmaking into that with a patch ASAP.
They really have played their cards EXCEPTIONALLY well!!! It's almost like the perfect storm has formed around Microsoft's Xbox One but they brought it on themselves.

Phones & PC's already do this. Why not consoles?
Re: Rumour: Sony's Building a Supercharged PS4 Console
@Midzark You can sell it on your own, NOBODY forces people to upgrade technology. If you don't want to upgrade you don't HAVE to.

Re: Ready Your Petitions, As Gravity Rush Remastered Ain't Releasing at Retail in NA
Sony should change their marketing tagline for the game in North America....Gravity Rush "This Is Sort of for The Players"

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Think of the PS4's Hardware Design?
I like it alot actually. It's sexy and simple. Elegant angles break it up and give it a little panache.
