Nioh 3 Is the Fastest-Selling Game in the Series, 1 Million Copies Sold in Two Weeks 1

It seems like Nioh 3 has been a big success for publisher Koei Tecmo; it's announced the game has now sold 1 million copies, two weeks out from its initial launch.

Moreover, it's reached this sales milestone faster than the previous games, making it the fastest-selling entry to date.

As you can see in this post, Koei Tecmo has also revealed that the total sales for the series overall has now reached 10 million.

To celebrate these successes, the company released an accolades trailer, which you can see here:

Nioh 3 launched on PS5 and PC on 6th February 20026, and has been very well received by critics and players, with many calling it the best in the series.

We described the game as Team Ninja's "greatest action experience in a very long time" in our review, praising its semi-open world structure and "sublime, intense" combat system.

In our community poll, most voters said they'd award the game a 9/10.

Fortunately, it seems the game's quality is being reflected in sales, which is never a guarantee.
