I wasn’t expecting more than a fresh paint job (updated graphics) so I’ll take it. Looking forward to playing this and Undead Nightmare.

Played it this year for the first time. Probably put in around 120 hours total. I really enjoyed it. Would give it an 8/10. My favorite part was exploring around the wasteland to see what I’d stumble across. Probably spent a good 40 hours or so doing that before getting back to the main story.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - First time playing a game in the series. So far a pretty enjoyable Metroidvania after a few hours of play.

Welp I guess this gives me more time to get through my PS5 backlog

Have had a Portal for nearly a year now and I love the device. Didn’t think it’d take off the way it has when it was first announced. It’s allowed me to play PS5 more often and I use it almost daily. I usually play it at night as turning on the TV the PS5 is connected to would light up the house. Haven’t really had many connection issues with it. Would have been nice if it had an OLED screen and Bluetooth, but overall a great device.

Can we please get on with the AI Bubble bursting soon? Tired of seeing it everywhere and offered with so many products unnecessarily.

@BennyTheCat AW2 is a monthly game so as long as you download it and have a PS Plus membership you can play it even after the game is no longer part of the monthly catalog.

Tekken 3 and Soul Calibur 3? I’m about to be in late 90’s/early 00’s fighting game heaven.

Never played any of the Alan Wake games. Now very tempted to with the remastered version of the first one on sale for $5 currently and 2 on its way to PS Plus.

Good for gamers that the games will be available on all platforms. Hopefully Square doesn’t set even more unrealistic sales expectations now, but probably not happening knowing how most C-Suites operate these days. 40 million copies sold in Week 1 or it’s a massive failure!

Bought one about 6 months after it came out with Ridge Racer as my first game.

Expecting FF7 Part 3 to be released in early 2028. As for KH4, wouldn’t be too surprised to see it end up on the PS6.

Not really as Rockstar had done this plenty in the past with other games. Would rather they take their time and not release a game full of bugs & glitches. Guess this means more time to get through my backlog until May 2026.

Even with the playtime of non-Fortnite battle royale games going down, I’m not that optimistic that gaming companies will stop trying to make more live service games in the hope of striking gold with the next Fortnite or GTA Online.

Probably won’t get it on Day 1, however will likely buy it by the end of the year. Looking forward most to DK Bananza and Metroid Prime 4. The ports of games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring are enticing too. Never played them on PS4/5 so this would be a good opportunity to finally get around to them.

An all-time classic game. Would buy an HD-2D version of this in a heartbeat. But that makes too much sense so 0% chance SE makes it a reality.

Visions of Mana (PS5) - Started Chapter 7 and completing the many side quests that popped up at the start of this chapter. Having fun too trying out the different classes and abilities now that the game has really opened up.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - Started playing X-Men vs. Street Fighter and instantly brought back memories of playing this one at the arcade many moons ago.

I had my doubts about the Portal too, but bought one last fall & glad I did. Unable to play PS5 at night as where the TV it’s connected to is set up in an area of the house that would light up everything and wake everyone. Not an issue anymore. No issues with lag. Went with the recommended setup of connecting the PS5 directly to the modem/router. I do wish it had Bluetooth to be able to use AirPods. Overall though it’s been a great purchase and is used often.

Bloodborne 4K 60 FPS will happen around the same time Nintendo releases Mother 3 in the US with an English translation

It sucked not being able to use the Portal on Friday night. Just played Switch instead. I mostly play single player games so wasn’t an issue on Saturday when I had time to play PS5

It takes several months for me to get through a big RPG (100+ hours). Started playing Baldur’s Gate 3 (PS5) and The Witcher 3 (Switch) last summer & haven’t finished either. About 3/4 through each but started getting burned out around the 100 hour mark. Definitely enjoyed both but have played many other games that I’ve been able to get through quicker since then. I’m sure I’ll finish them at some point this year though.

At this point, they just need to rip the bandaid off and announce a slew of games coming to PS5 and Switch 2. Shareholders would be giddy to see all the revenue that’s about to come pouring in.

Pass for me. My PS5 is still doing well after 3 years. Can put that money towards a Switch 2.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm - Starting the second episode of the game. Looking to finish all 4 games this summer.

Baldur’s Gate 3 - A few hours into Act 2. Hoping to get to Moonrise Towers this weekend.

The Witcher 3 - 15 hours into this game & have been enjoying just exploring around Velen. Will eventually get back to Main Quests.

@IOI Metroid Prime 4 alone made that Direct a 10/10. I thought the game was at least a few years away. Caught me completely off guard when it was shown at the end.

Tears of the Kingdom - Side Quest/Adventure cleanup. Probably find some Lightroots and load up on Zonaite in the Depths.

Baldur’s Gate 3 - Started playing last weekend and still getting used to the mechanics. Had to take it down to Explorer difficulty since the battles were pretty rough to start. Really enjoying just exploring around since there’s so much to see/do in this game.

Sony playing 4D chess vs. themselves

Was definitely a surprise/shock to see that this was coming out on the Switch. Makes a lot of sense though. Lego games are vey popular and plenty of people play them on Switch. Smart business move by Sony that’ll probably make them a good amount of revenue.

Perhaps we’ll see Aloy in the next Smash Bros. game?

Final Fantasy XVI - Got the platinum trophy yesterday. Starting the Echoes of the Fallen DLC this weekend.

Cat Quest - Downloaded this recently on PS Plus. Have only played for about an hour. Pretty fun game so far.

Tears of the Kingdom - About 25 shrines left to find mostly in the Sky. Seeing what random Side Quets/Adventures I may stumble upon in Hyrule too.

@trev666 Could even release them on the Switch too. Between the PC, NS, PS5, and XSX it would be a pretty good flow of revenue for Bethesda while working on Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5.

Maybe just maybe this rise in Fallout’s popularity from the show will get Bethesda to release remasters of 3 and New Vegas for the current lineup of systems.

Welp looks like I’ll have plenty of time to clear out a good chunk of my PS5 backlog. Still a while away, but hopefully when it comes out the game isn’t loaded with bugs for a smooth launch.

Cat Quest 1 & 2 have my attention. Look like a couple of quick fun games to play.

FFXVI - Continuing my 2nd play through in FF Mode. About halfway through it.

Blast Corps - Recently purchased an N64 controller for the Switch. Time to finish what I rage quit back in ‘97.
