Even though Sony bugs me sometimes, why would any gamer want them to fail? Competition is great for gamers, that is the reason Gamepass even exists. If Sony didn't beat MS last gen, Gamepass would not be around at all. Sony also took things from Microsoft and Nintendo. Competition is great. Anyone who wants these companies to not do well because of fanboyism is nuts. The only reason I ever want a company to have issues is to correct course. Like EA, I wish people would boycott their sports games, if they did, they would make way better sports games.

Honestly, I am super happy Sony is making mp games. I know everyone is upset and its doom and gloom, but honestly, some of the most unique and fun mp games of the last decade were on PS3. Killzone, Resistance, Warhawk, Starhawk, Last of Us Factions. I am so bored of Cod and the other usual suspects.

@ORO_ERICIUS the 30-day average of CoD Warzone players for Aug. -Sep. 2022 is 53 million. Still impressive but its actually down. It's obviously huge, but how many of them actually buy stuff? I played Warzone and have never given Activision a dime for it.

@Luigia Honestly I liked both Criterion entries. Hot Pursuit 2009 and Most Wanted were great games. Payback and a couple others were bad but I think people remember the early ones a bit too fondly. Not saying they were bad but they had their issues.

@TrickyDicky99 Agreed. It's not the mouse and keyboard stuff that is a problem its the unreal cheating going on in most PC games. Its crazy at this point really. I don't get how anyone plays Warzone, you have huge streamers who basically brag about cheating.

@Voltan It's actually great that you waited. All the best games will probably get ports and although I really enjoyed PSVR the tech was a bit ahead of its time. You are gonna get a way better experience with PSVR2.

@Angelus3K People are always complaining about stuff. Xbox released virtually no first party games this year, yet everyone on here acts like they pump them out. They supported PS5 faster with first party software than any Playstation in history.

@Voltan Agreed. VR is underrated. People have not played a lot of the best games. PSVR1 didn't even have analog sticks for the move and it was still very fun, PSVR2 will blow it away.

@jrt87 You sold it way too early, you never even played some of the best games. PSVR1 had a lot of fun games, problem was the tech on it, moves were not the best for it. Sony has God of War Ragnorock coming in a month. They are making PS5 games.

@Mikey856 Doubt it. 1200 usd and more video cards are still selling like hot cakes. 70 dollar games may be an issue though, especially in places outside the U.S. where game prices are getting nuts.

@Tecinthebrain Who uses a regular hard drive on PC? Especially if you have the specs to run Returnal on it. Is this 2015?

@AgentGuapo While you certainly dont need a PS5 controller, the SSD probably makes a difference and this game would struggle to run on PS4, especially first gen. It doesn't maintain 60 on PS5.

Just do day and date so I don't have to buy a PS6. Sony giving up on Japan and doing their best to make PS5 useless.

Everyone on here talking up Xbox, lets not forget that they released Halo Infinite unfinished, with no coop and no forge. Delayed them as well. Making the multiplayer F2P was not some genius, nice gesture. They stripped it from the 60 usd game and gave it to you with microtransactions. Also, Returnal is adding online coop before Halo and free DLC. So ya, Sony is the devil.

@Bleachedsmiles FH5 is better at it than GT7 but the Forza 6 was insane for microtransactions, you know this.

@Squanch This site is filled with reactionary dummies who talk up Xbox any time Sony does anything. Forgetting that most Sony games have no microtransactions at all.

@Pat_trick Go then. I own both and MS puts mtx in virtually every game. This is basically the only game Sony really puts micros in, but ya they are the devil. Also, I think this is more Polyphony than Sony HQ.

@DeathByLasagna Ya they didn't have tons of new crazy announcements, but they showed a bunch of updates on some really good games.

+Space Marine 2 amazing announcement. If you are not hyped then you never played the first game. Other than that is was okay, some cool gameplay shown but nothing mind blowing.

Deathloop is very overrated by a some critics, don't really get it and I bought the game day one. Dishonored 2 is much better. Returnal is better than any game on there but maybe Dread.

@redd214 Metroid Dread is fantastic, better than Ratchet by a fair bit.

If this ends up hurting Playstation sales Sony will stop. They are only doing this to make more money, if sales dip in PS they are screwed. Sony makes some money off exclusives but most of their money comes off of people buying non Playstation games and them getting 30 percent. As soon as that is hurt they will stop putting exclusive games on PC. This is Jim Ryan and and we will see if this continues to work.

Bloodborne takes a dump on Breath of the Wild.

@Golem25 I agree on some of those companies, but Zipper made a couple big flops before they were shuttered. I liked Mag to some degree, but Socom 4 was insanely bad. Destruction Allstars actually plays very well, its just a boring idea. I kept saying to myself, why isn't this Twisted Metal?

Day one buy. PSVR is good for what it was, but the moves and light tracking are just so damn unsatisfying.

I love how 4 or the 6 gamepass games announced for May were already free on Plus.

UK sucks, Returnal should still be number one. Amazing game. Anyone who buys Fifa is a clown.

@Bush I agree, its a fine balance, I think Sony will put out games slowly on PC, I don't see them ever doing day and date. I would just have a PC if they did that.

Sony putting all their games day one on PC would be the end of PS5. They have huge competition with Gamepass and Switch, so giving away the exclusive advantage would be beyond stupid. I think they will trickle out old games at a slow pace.

Going to buy eventually for sure, i have played every RE game, but still playing Returnal and I have an insane backlog, so I am not rushing into it. It looks fun though.

Sony needs to buy these guys, not because every studio needs to be bought, but they have made their best games with Sony and Sony's funding will help propel them to the next level. This game is amazing, it plays like a dream and is just so fantastic. Sony should have bought them years ago. All this is of course contingent on them wanting to be acquired obviously.

To be fair, even if I had never played Ghost, I would have guessed it was the Mongels and not Europeans that invaded Japan at that time.

Honestly, make a good Left 4 Dead style mode, where there are team puzzles and open areas. Coop works, vs is stupid in this RE.

@Shigurui I agree. Godfall is mediocre enough without playing it at sub 30 with long load times.

Insanely excited for PSVR 2. I have the first one and there are a ton of good games, but i hate light tracking and moves. Real controllers and tracking, with better resolution and i may never take my headset off.

Sony has a new AAA exclusive coming out in a week. It's getting a lot of praise in early previews of the review code. They just announced in the last month, 4 or 5 new exclusive titles being developed. Meanwhile, gamepass is good, but overrated like i have never seen. I have it and a Series X. MS has not made or shown off one next gen game. Not one. Everyone is up in arms about them shutting down part of Sony Japan, yet barely anyone bought any Sony Japan games.

I worry about the 70 usd price but this game is actually looking really good.
