Seems like the vast majority of the mainline 2D entires are covered, so the spin-offs would be my bet for the unannounced games. MK4 was the first 3D game in the series, but was also released in the arcades so can see why that is in there too.

Personally, I’d like a DLC / Kollection 2 to include the 3D era games, Deadly Alliance through to Armageddon, with spin-offs like Shaolin Monks in that batch.

Third Kollection could then bundle up MK9 through to MK1 for those who haven’t got them on current systems.

If you’re a cat lover I’d recommend it. Nails the movement and climbing, and combines it with an innocent cartoon vibe.

@JustMyOpinion if you purchased any of the older Forza’s digitally before they were delisted you can still play, uninstall and redownload and continue playing no problem. It’s only new purchases from the Xbox store that are no longer an option.

Download and play right now, or wait another two months to get it on a disc.

I really hate Cerny’s voice

Can someone please explain why this guy has become such a big deal in the past few years? I’ve tried watching a couple of his shows, and he’s a personality black hole, so what am I missing?

I never played more than the opening tutorial area in HZD, but I’ve bought the upgrade so prepping to give this another go. Only issue is will I have time given my massive backlog?

I can’t be the only one excited for Dino Crisis?

@NEStalgia I’m more puzzled by what happened to my discs. Someone has saved their SimCity 2000 saves over disc two!

@UltimateOtaku91 that’s rich coming from someone who did nothing but complain on PureXbox when they claimed to have a Series S.

Recently got back into this on the Xbox with my son. Game is easy to get into, water physics are amazing, and even if we’re just sailing around it’s a bit of a blast. Can’t recommend enough.

If you’ve been holding off on this game, I can’t recommend it enough. Sunk so many hours into it on Xbox, making bases with zip-lines across the whole map.

Sadly I’m not holding my breath for this. As has been said above, the combat mechanics would feel incredibly dated for someone who has never played the original and would need to be completely replaced, which in turn would fundamentally alter the flow of the game.

Think I’ll stick with the Steam or Xbox versions for the foreseeable.

I feel like I’m the only person who has really struggled to get into this game. The combat and levels are really well done, but I find boy annoying as hell, and Kratos just doesn’t strike me as any way likeable. I’m planning on starting again so hopefully it’ll grab my attention a bit more the second time round.

Shepard was at least an interesting character and had the right look. I’d be quit happy for him to return as lead.
The male character (can’t comment on the female as I never used her) in Andromeda was a wet blanket who looked like he had no business being the leader of the expedition. That was just one of the reasons I didn’t enjoy Andromeda so hopefully they leave him and his gang stranded in another galaxy.

I’ve not played Returnal nearly as much as I’d like, and when I do I still haven’t managed to beat the first boss. So I’ve still got a huge chunk of the game to get through before I even see the new stuff that’s been added!

Haven’t tried the PS Plus version from December and can’t see me trying it on Xbox either, unless it’s added to Game Pass. Even then it’ll be pretty far down the backlog list.

Not really an issue I’m too bothered about to be honest. I’d much rather they added the ability to do ANYTHING other than stare at that timer bar when moving games between the internal and external hard drives.

I’ve only just started playing the original after having it in my collection for years. It’s been pretty good actually, but maybe not enough for me to buy this sequel at full price. I’ll probably scoop it up once the inevitable platinum edition releases at a later date.

I got third party black plates last January for half the price of these and honestly can’t see any difference between the pair. I’ll give these official ones a miss I think.

I’m dubious about most rogue-likes to, barring maybe Dead Cells. I’ve loved Returnal so far, the movement and shooting are really slick and it looks gorgeous. Pity I’m useless at it, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve made it to the boss of the first area and had it all fall apart!

Been waiting for a price drop before hitting the purchase button on Returnal. Downloading just now!

@ApostateMage if you’ve got a One X or Series X it looks great as it’s run at 4K and the loading screens are reduced to a second or two on Series X

@Daleaf it’s well worth getting a Switch, even if it’s just for the Nintendo exclusives. I’m in a good position where I already have one, and will continue to use it for Nintendo games (along with some multiplatform title, being able to play Xcom 2 on-the-go is awesome!) while I use my PS5 and XSX for mainstream games (or I will when they arrive!).
