Re: MLB The Show Survives as Sony San Diego Restructures

CThrash13

Like others have said, it's always unfortunate when people lose a job. That's the most important thing.

That being said, I definitely wasn't happy when I heard the original news that The Show may get discontinued. Video game wise, that'd be about as bad as it gets for me. I get it every year and love it every year. That's my Call of Duty, haha.

Re: Soapbox: Let's Be Honest, E3 2016 Was Disappointing

CThrash13

@BranJ0 I definitely agree that E3 was pretty good overall, and PS4 stuff alone will keep me busy for awhile. I guess I just kept holding out hope Nintendo would announce Luigi's Mansion or something for Wii U. I guess the system is truly on its last leg though. There is so much potential for more on the system, but I don't blame them either.

Re: Feature: 10 PS4 Games That Won E3 2016

Detroit: Become Human caught my attention the most, and that's probably because it's been on my radar since it was announced several months ago. Spiderman also intrigues me, and I'm not even a Spiderman guy.

As a Sony guy, I'm pretty excited with what was announced at this year's E3. There are a handful of games I'm excited about now that I wasn't this time last week. That's a success in my book.

That being said, I'm really disappointed in Nintendo's showing at E3. I didn't expect a ton, but I figured we'd get more than Zelda. I'd love to be a Nintendo guy again at some point, but it's not ever gonna happen.

Re: E3 2016: You'll Play as Multiple Droids in PS4's Detroit

Until Dawn has been one of my favorites to play along with my wife, and while this one isn't horror, it still seems to have the same kind of butterfly effect that makes Until Dawn so interesting and fun. This one caught my attention after the first trailer months ago, and this trailer moves the game near the top of my wishlist for sure!

Re: FIFA 17 Kicks-Off in September on PS4

CThrash13

I'm looking forward to seeing more June 12th, but there's potential for good things! I'm gonna guess that some of the modes are going to be left out with the focus on Frostbite, but I hope I'm wrong. It'll look wonderful though at the very least! Haha

Re: Holy Remaster, Batman! Return to Arkham Revealed for PS4

CThrash13

I'm usually not a huge fan of remastered games I've already beaten, but these are a must have. Plus, I didn't do all the side missions for Asylum and City, so I'll have plenty of new stuff to do as well. Asylum and City are two of my favorite games ever, and that's coming from a sports-heavy gamer!

Re: Press X to Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th on PS4

CThrash13

I'll be donating for sure, but I'm not sure how much yet. It's already raised over $60,000, and I'm sure it'll end up well over a million before all is said and done. I'm hoping they use that for a nice single player experience. The multiplayer sounds fun, but I have to have a little single player included as well. All in all, I'm really excited about the announcement and will be following closely over the next year.

Re: Review: F1 2015 (PS4)

CThrash13

I recently started watching F1 a little bit, and I thought heavily about getting this game. That being said, I believe I'll wait for F1 2016 next year. It'll probably have a few more modes, and the first American team in a long time is debuting in 2016. That will take my interest level up even more! This game looks absolutely beautiful though, and it definitely serves as a great base to build on. For the most part, however, the first iterations of games on the new systems seem to be lacking overall content.

Re: Review: Tour de France 2015 (PS4)

CThrash13

This review makes me even more sad nobody has taken a chance on a PS4 tennis game. It's much needed, and there's plenty of interest if a good game gets announced.

Nonetheless, I didn't even know Tour de France had a game. It looks interesting at least. Good job on the review.

Re: E3 2015 Will Be Super Crazy Good, Says Sony

CThrash13

I'm a big fan of sports games, and EA Sports has already mentioned most of their fall titles will be at E3. So I at least have that stuff to look forward to, although I'm sure Sony will break out a surprise or two as well. I'm not even sure what to expect out of it, so I'm going in with low expectations from the start.

My son has mentioned he may want a Wii U for Christmas, so I'll be keeping an eye on Nintendo's E3 as well. I've contemplated getting a Wii U for awhile, but I always seem to pass it up. If my son doesn't get one, I may not ever get one. Lol

Re: This Is The Order: 1886 Trailer That You've Been Waiting For

CThrash13

This probably won't be a day one purchase because I want to read a couple reviews, but I'll probably get it the first week if it's well received. I'm pretty sure it'll be the next game I purchase. Like someone else stated, it's come a long way since its original debut. The setting hooked me from the beginning, but the story mode gets more intriguing with every video release.

Re: Talking Point: Are We Starting to Expect Too Much from PlayStation Plus?

CThrash13

This world is full of greed, and that won't get any better anytime soon. People are always going to want more and/or better, but the fact they give anything at all is pretty cool. I just became a PS+ member for the first time after getting a PS4, and the PS+ deal is one of the main reasons I went with Sony over Microsoft. I wish I would've gotten my subscription last month to get Outlast for free, but that's my fault. The PS+ titles probably won't always interest me, but it's still a great deal. I'm more than happy with it so far.
