Talking Point: What July PlayStation Plus Free Games Do You Want?

I'm hoping for a launch tittle like imfamous second sun or something that might need a kickstart like the crew battlefield 4 would be pretty cool they are giving out the dlc's for free gradually in celebration of BF1 so that can be a possibility

No Man's Sky and.. yes, actually Furi, would be an excellent give away. Totally agree.

I did read that Kill Strain would offered to PS+ owners as a free download but I think that will be separate from the IGC offerings. I wouldn't be surprised if we get something like The Evil Within, Dishonoured (definitive) or something similar but I also wouldn't be surprised by 2 indies (or 6 if you also include Vita and PS3 offerings...)

I liked and finished gone home. However NBA2K16... I love basketball and since it has been years since I bought one I was excited.

After the download the menu in this game is super slow. Slower than a Win Me PC I had 15 years ago. I was excited by the inclusion of Euroleague teams (I love this tournament) and started a match. Since when those games became so super complicated? Fouled out with the travelling rule happened to me constantly. The opponent never missed. The Euroleague squads were way outdated in some teams...

As for next month I would like them to continue the trend with one AAA and one indie. Wouldn't it be great to give the first Watchdogs to celebrate the release of the second one?

Witch Watch Dogs 2 coming soon, I thik we will see the first one on PLus sooner or later, after all Ubi is one ofthe companies that sport PS Plus games.

I would love to see any JRPG for PS4 and Borderlands 2 for Vita.

I'd like to see some PS1 or PS2 classics up, but I don't think that'd ever happen unless they got super desperate.

I'm still waiting on axiom verge and shovel knight. They would be my indie picks. For reasonable aaa games, I would like knack (yes, I did enjoy the game when I rented it before), dishonored remastered, or watch dogs. Infamous would be a great choice. I have already beaten it 2-3 times but I'd love for more people to play it.

I would like to see Broken Sword I keep holding off buying it because its been on sale so many times I feel at some point it will come to PS Plus. I would like to see some indie games given away and something that does not take me over a week to download would be nice.

PS+ needs more AAA titles, especially on PS4. We get one every once in a while, but they can definitely do more.

The could roll out launch titles, but I'd like something a little more recent, like Alien: Isolation or Until Dawn. As for Indie titles, I think The Escapist would be a great choice.

I had a dream last night that we got a Vita version of Dark Souls which came out on PS Plus.

Back in the world of reality I would vote for Diablo 3 or Until Dawn. It would be too much to hope for both.

I just like discounts I don't need free games i rather own them.

Last month was stellar for me, Gone Home was on my list so very pleased with it. We shall see I guess. Watch Dogs soon though would be a safe bet...

Last month was good in the way they gave away a AAA game but personally there was no tutorials on the basketball so I gave up on it super quick and Gone Home was just a bore fest.But at least I try these games

My guess is is no AAA games for sure. They will never release back to back AAA titles, we'll not until the end of ps4 life cycle anyways. I would love to be dead wrong. I would like Stories as a ps+

It's about time we get a game like Uncharted 4, Dark Souls 3 or GTAV. Or maybe a smaller title like Ratchet and Clank or Until Dawn would be nice as well, ya know, for sh*ts and g*ggles.

But on a more serious note I think they should give away GoW 3 remastered or maybe even Mad Max or Batman AK; these games are discounted so heavily in some of Sony's sales that I feel they're ultimately doing more damage to the IP than doing themselves a favor. If they give it away with Plus though, people will be more than pleased with the offerings on hand and will surely have a more positive outlook on both the series as a whole as PS Plus as a service.

@ztpayne7 I think i read that the creator of Axiom verge refused to put it on Plus. I caved and bought it, definitely worth the money.

I don't know what I would like to see on there. Heard good things about Furi so that would be decent. We have been given 2 retail titles in 2 months now, so it isnt unreasonable to say that we may get another.

Like someone else mentioned, Watch Dogs sounds good to me! I still need to get 2K16 while it's available.

It would be nice to get more AAA titles on there, i would like to see infamous second son given as a free game, as that is one i would definately download, come on sony start giving us better games, that's what we pay a subscription every month for.

I'd just like games that I can download and play. NBA just wouldn't download, kept repeatedly getting an error. Having never played a basketball game before I was really happy to have been given the opportunity for free. I've given up trying now though. I have heard that I'm not alone with this issue

@BowTiesAreCool yeah, battlefield hard line and 4 are £3.99. There are others too. So it's possible that these games could go on plus now that their prices are so low

@Flaming_Kaiser I don't know which game you're saying was 6.99 - I'm not able to check every sale unfortunately.

I would definitely pay 6.99 for Axiom Verge if it's probably not coming to plus. So hopefully it's that price again.

Also, some games you just have a good feeling will come to plus - and if it's not a game I'm in love with, I'll probably wait. I still have a decent backlog.

@blakey78 There are people that would complain if they gave away Battlefield 4 because its 'too old' or is 'only £4' now. Personally I don't mind seeing old games with a heavy MP focus as that often reinvigorates the game. Often the lobbies are more occupied meaning a better overall experience. Buying a game - even if it is cheap doesn't always mean that the game is 'playable' online. Giving these away 'free' usually has a big influx of new gamers all at the similar time.
There are a lot of games over a year old that I would 'happily; download and play/try - many that at the time I didn't think they were worth buying at that price. Some I have on my XB1 but would play on my PS4 - I can't really justify buying twice - BF4 would be one of these.

@BAMozzy those are the people that complain regardless of what content is made available. I agree with your theory on MP. What's the point of buying an old game for the MP if the lobbies are empty. I did contemplate dipping back in to battlefield 4 as the price was ridiculously low. But I've held off just in case it is one of the July freebies. If it isn't, £4 for the game is alright in my book

No walking sim's pleaseeeee, last month's game's were awfull and remain the only PS+ game's that i've not even bothered dl'n since i've owned a PS4.

@blakey78 £4 isn't bad for BF4. The campaign isn't worth playing but for £4, its acceptable. Its still the most popular BF game online at the moment but you would have to think the numbers will drop in October.

I know some people will complain regardless - its not always the same people though and as with any scheme like this, you are not going to please everyone all the time...

@WayneDavies89 exactly, more AAA titles for the ps4, we rarely get any, it's mainly indie games. I don't know about the rest of you but I usually don't play them so the free games aspect of psplus has been worthless for most of my membership since I got rid of my ps3 for the ps4.

I'm a simple man, Civ Rev 2 or XCOM for the Vita would keep me happy. Maybe Day of the Tentacle on the PS4, help clear up my digital wishlist.

I don't mind really as I see the games as a bonus as we pay to play online, I can imagine GOW 3 remastered will show up at some point especially with the new GOW on its way. That will make an excellent bonus.

Seeing Borderlands Two free would be amazing. I used to play that game loads when I had my PS3, now that I have a PS4 I would love to play it on PS4.

Something like witcher 3 or maybe god of war 3 remastered.

@SKC_Diamond While that would be nice they EA has already offered both BF4 and Hardline for $4.99 so I doubt that's happening but I'm hoping the next free DLC is Naval Strike

Not really fussy its all good on ps+...but i do like the sound of lost sea with its procedurally generated islands and stuff, gameplay video looks good too and i hope neverwinter(not on plus obviously) will launch in the next couple of weeks or so...and to the person that was wondering if bf4 still has lots of players, the answer is a definite yes and so many new players recently too, you will always find full/almost full servers 24/7

If you want the game so damned much you should have bought it when it was £5 in the recent sale. Or when it's £3 in the next sale. It's ALWAYS on sale!

Anything except Knack! Furi would be awesome though. The Deadpool remaster would make me very happy, too.

Oh and a decent Vita title would be great, something like Steins:Gate or Danganropa (no idea if I've spelled that correctly) would be really great.

I do not want another god of war game given out as I feel they should not have given two in a row. I also want good game that people have wanted to play but not spend the money on tropic 5. I do not want any more sports games given out for free as they don't reach a wide audience. I don't want any indie games if possible. I would like a aaa game but would rather have a game like tropico than a aaa game I have already played before. no more giving out short games gone home it was too short to be worth it.
