I should probably tune into one of these streams, just to see the game in action. I might buy into it a little later on this year, once a sale hits.

I've always like the world of Harry Potter, and this one looks and sounds like it'll be a good little experience.

A good game is what I want from this.

RDJ voicing Tony Stark would be the dream, but I know that won't happen.

I've been cutting through the game for a few weekends now, and the biggest issue I've run into are crashes and a weird corrupted save file.

The game crashes at least twice daily, which is obnoxious when playing, but something I can shrug off for the most part.

The save file glitch however was extremely concerning, as there was one file that corrupted in such a way that the game refused to save any checkpoints or auto-saves for days to follow. I had to manually save frequently just to be sure I didn't lose hours of progress.

And then eventually... the game deleted this corrupt save file on its own (where it originally refused to let me delete it manually), and everything went back to normal.

It's been a ride, to say the least. But at least the game is still fun.

Always hated fighting those things...

The up close picture of the mouth really nails home how deadly that thing would be if real. All those metal "teeth" would shred your flesh in seconds.

I only played the first one for a brief window, no more than an hour. It was a fun time, but I just never went back.

I did watch someone play it through to completion, and it looked like a good time. I might just gift them a copy under the condition I can watch them play it.

It looks fun. I'll look up reviews, and if the price is right, I'll pick it up on my Switch.

Wait... it's been that long since release?

Clearly my perception of time is totally out of whack.

Oh, and RIP to the game. You were meant to be a fun little single player adventure, and you were bastardized into this mess...

I intend to, though I'm not sure if I'll do it now or a bit down the line, when the inevitable 25% or more sale hits.

Not like I'm rushing to play them, so why not wait and save a few quid?

I'm very curious to see how this one will pan out once it starts getting reviews. The last HP game I played (and enjoyed) was the Sorcerer's Stone on GBC (the simple RPG one).

I hope this one turns out well enough, wouldn't mind buying it on sale.

Hah, that gave me a chuckle.

As someone who cared little for the game, I found the first episode to be strong. The set design is fantastic, and the tension was there throughout the episode.

Looking forward to watching this one every Sunday.

I really wanted to play this one, but waiting another 18 months?

Feels like when it does release (rather, IF it releases), it'll be a massive letdown.

I wasn't sure about this one after the abysmal letdown that was 15, but they've slowly won me over.

If it ends up being another letdown, I'll slap myself for it, but I've been with the series for so long, and played every (mainline) entry, would be wrong to stop now.

In the words of one loud and vulgar character of the series: There ain't no gettin' off this train we on...

I'll be watching the show. Unless after a few episodes it totally loses my interest, I don't mind tuning in once weekly for an hour. I have faith in the actors to hold the show up.

I just finished this one last weekend. Absolutely had a blast from start to finish; it's been a couple years since I played the original, so I actually had to watch a refresher video before diving in.

Overall, an improvement on the first game. The story was lesser than the first game, but at the same time a good continuation of the characters and their relationships. The new antagonists were a nice touch, and props to the... interesting ending. I'm curious to see what the DLC brings, or the potential Horizon 3.

I'm tempted to just swap out Ragnarok for another game on my upcoming play list, so that I can go from the first run into the NG+ all at once.

I recall the NG+ for the 2018 game being a great experience, too. Looking forward to getting to the game in general later this Spring.

This is something I'd genuinely be interested in playing, whenever it drops.

I got into Horizon super late, but the experience has been phenomenal. The world is fun to explore, and fighting robot wildlife is a blast. Doing the same but with some friends would be awesome.

Oh wow, I only ever played the first two, and neither to completion, as this was back in the days of early GBA emulation.

Much as I'd like to buy this, I never got around to the other Megaman compilation releases, and I just don't have the time anymore for all these classics.

I had such a hearty laugh when someone made the Popeye reference. 😂

But let's be real though, do I need another Street Fighter when Third Strike exists and is the best game in the series to date?

I'm currently working through Horizon Forbidden West; it's been about three years since I played the original, and it's been an absolute ride so far. The only other PS5 game I've played this year was Soul Hackers 2, which was... a let down. Didn't even finish it.

I'll get a chance to play both Ragnarok and Crisis Core after, but none of these games will top my personal GOTY 2022, which is Xenoblade 3.

I'm looking forward to this almost entirely because of Pedro Pascal and what he's going to bring to the project.

It'll certainly be an infinitely better experience than the game was for me.

I like the sound of this list. I will definitely go back and replay this, but it has to slot in somewhere in the growing PS5 backlog...

Between FF7R, Ragnarok, Soul Hackers 2, Horizon and Ghost of Tsushima... it'll be hard to get to everything alongside the usual Switch gaming.

I would like to replay the game, so I'm hoping the improvements are nice and substantial. I played it first on PS4, then again on Switch, and had a better time of it on Switch of all things.

I was looking for another excuse to replay this, so here it is.

I have a lot on my plate coming up, I just have to actually put in the time to play these games...

This is one I have an eye on, mostly because the world of Harry Potter has always interested me, but the games have never been "good enough" to truly love. Well, except for the GBC games, because they were straight up old school RPGs.

Agreed, but they have no choice when the mere mention of this franchise's existence causes people to seethe over an artist's opinions.

The fact that this is capped at 30fps is laughable and sad. GCN reigns supreme.

Still, tempting though it would be to relive this game, I played so much of it at launch on Gamecube that I could never go back to it. The same applies to Tales of the Abyss and Vesperia; a shame, given how much fun those were back in the day.

Sad state of affairs when any game makes us look back at 13 as a better experience...

Unironically though: I still maintain in some ways, 13 was one of the better FF games. Better than some that are far more beloved.

Eye is definitely on this one.

Please redeem the series after 15 and 13. Don't make me wait until 17.

I'm sure Pedro Pascal will deliver a strong performance, and I have high hopes for Bella Ramsey.

I'm looking forward to seeing this for the performances from the leads. Have no love whatsoever for the original game (found it to be boring), but the narrative seems decent enough to make for a good show.

It probably started as something of a hobby, and eventually grew to eat up too much of his time. If he wasn't getting paid for it, I agree with the decision to leave it behind.

That's cool, I'd love a chance to play the first game. I remember watching videos of it, and boy did it look rough.

These parts never really bothered me personally. Like parts where you'd climb walls and you'd listen to conversations between Kratos and Atreus, it gave you a calm moment to listen.

Personally find it hard to listen to dialogue when I'm focusing on combat, or even exploring the environment.

I figured this would be the case the closer we got to release. Fortunately for me, I don't use social media, so my odds of being spoiled are almost null.

Though... I am tempted to know who gets the axe during this entry... 😂

Makes me wonder if my TV is capable of the 120fps option... will have to look into it!

Still debating picking this up at launch, or holding off until after the holidays. With Tactics Ogre on the way, I want nothing else to interrupt my run of that game, and this one likely would.

I don't have a glowing opinion on 14 myself, so their track record there is worth little, if anything.

Patience and reviews. After all, I haven't played a FF at launch since 13 in 2010.

This one has me in super-skeptical mode.

15 was such a letdown, and going by mainline games, the last good one IMO was 12, which was 2008 or so (IZJS, not vanilla).

I want it to be a good time, but I'll have to wait for reviews, and maybe a few LPs to truly gauge if it's for me.
