Thats a fair point, however take a look at the demon souls remake and its hard to keep that sentiment.

It really isn't, you missed out games like hades, outriders and lots of indie titles you might never try, also game sync.
The reason why people go on about gamepass is because it's feels like a gift that keeps giving. I have both machines and Sony are far behind on this one and it may sting em... A little.

Won't argue about picture quality, that's a given.
But every comparison I have read still puts plasma above oled for motion, which is a big factor for me. I also hate most motion assists.

And I'm still holding onto my 50" 1080 Panasonic plasma. Oled is the only replacement I can see, but I've heard the motion blur is still worse than plasma, (and I hate blur)
The LG c8 is out and is supposed to be an Improvement but its a bit pricey.

There are other games apart from monster hunter world?

If its anything like the SFV Barroth it'll be much bigger and hard to get out of the way.

Can't say I'm too excited for this, I preferred the earlier games, driving around took out all the immediate, quick fix, have a go and switch player, kind of fun.

Can't believe some Nintendo fans, they have a bunch of great games on the switch (I've played em and they are good), yet they're still salty about this. Good grief just be happy gaming is good.

I'm really glad I'm not a slug.....

I hope this dosent follow the street fighter, game to movie to game, path too closely.

I have to admit, there is a bit of me that feels a bit bad when chasing a limping monster back to its nest, then smashing it's head in while it tries to sleep.
Funny how I never have the same empathy smashing and shooting people in the face in every other game. Desensitised much.

This game should be "Nameless here for evermore"

The "failure" console that refuses to to die, good thing too. I see it as the dream cast of portables, unappreciated but loved by the people who understand its potential. The switch maybe taking its place now, but it think it will last a good time as a legacy console.

Also the amount of actual punters has multiplied considerably in the last 20 years. That must offset the cost somewhat.

Depends how far you go back,in the good awld speccy and c64 days games used to be about £8 for full price and £2. For budget.

Im a bit jelly there I hammered the game first time, love to play it first in VR, especially after how good resi 7 was.

These games along with tenchu used to really scratch that stealth itch. Good times.

Release more games like shadow tactics and I'm for it

Yep there are trophies, and it has its own separate badges, not easy to get.

Just started playing this. Lovin it, just what I needed. Something fresh.

Wow, where did this come from, can't even pre order it, I was getting a bit of fatigue from the usual games, then this turns up out of the blue. Day one. Bring on the frustration then joy of achievement.

I was really hoping for a tai pan (an old and brilliant 8/16 bit seafaring game) with the black flag sailing. Kind of "elite" with ships.... Ah well next time.

I thought, the playroom mini platform game also gave a hint of decent third person possibilities.

I'm all for a decent sniper game, and as we wait for a good one, somebody do a quick remaster of silent scope for a budget price.

The most promising thing about the new vr stuff is that it works. It's not a flawed concept like kinect. Using the gun feels right and intuitive,and we'll.. , pretty cool.
Lets face it, if programmers like Jeff minter get excited enough to make exceptional games on it, it should have a future.

Loved the baulders gate games.
I would love "r type final" more than anything tho. Unfortunately that is highly unlikely.

I'm so behind, completely absorbed in ff15, altho I'm a bit bemused by the inbuilt cheat with the coins, I worked it out and I never use guides, level 50 still on chapter 3. I am Prone to the grind, but it seems like an almost silly loop hole. I haven't even used a rare coin yet.
That said I am loving it.

Well I will be leaving zelda for now but is shaping up to be good, edge gave it ten out of ten but they have always bummed Nintendo (I never trusted em after giving gta 3 6/10)
It will have the charm but I fancy something fresh, unoriginality notwithstanding.

You can download the original ps1 game on the Vita. I have 1 thro 10 on the Vita its a nice bubble.

Dino crisis in psvr, now that would be a thing.
Also Onimishu is well late for a.... Well anything, an remaster would suit me, great games that seemed to disappear. Altho 3 did get a bit silly.

Well it's a residence and the residents are pretty evil, so it suits the name.
I've been playing it on psvr and it reminds me more of the original games which I loved (Rezi 2 was the reason I got a ps) than anything after nemesis.
Tho 4 was good, I never loved it, 5 and 6 didn't interest me at all.
It is subjective but FP or not it just feels more resident evily

It always seems pretty easy to get a game for me.
This game has become a cliché for gaming online, it's the most fun personally, highly rated unfortunately it hasn't got the sales it deserves, games like cod are the iPhone of games.. Same old but the sheep buy it up.

Always been a massive ff fan but was left a little cold with 13 , that said I still enjoyed it, just wasn't up there.

That's a fair appraisal, I guess I'm just fed up with cod now so I'm chanting for the underdog to give It a run for its money.
As I said I'm a bit of a fair weather fan of online shooters, so my opinion is generally based on short term, so I cant really argue the long term merits, where many of the things you mention come to bare.

It's Titanfall 2 I feel sorry for, deserved to do far better than cod. I'm not an avid fps online multiplayer fan, but I am loving Titanfall even the campaign put a smile on my face.

Fair point, I will try to be optimistic about this Nintendo console, the last 2 (apart from a few excellent games) left me disappointed.
Loved the ds and 3d tho.
