Haha what a clown. Full of himself after one really decent Xbox Showcase, meanwhile PS has had plenty of those over the past decade, albeit not so much in recent years. Take away the almost 80 billion spent in the last few years and this Xbox Showcase would have been average at best. PS don't need to purchase huge 3rd party publishers for 80 billion to create a great Showcase

@IamJT didn't think it was terrible or anything like that, just first impressions for me on my end wasn't the best. Not experienced enough of the game yet for genuine proper opinion on it, still could be really good yet

@WolfyTn I'm planning on it. Think definitely upgrading the boat will help. Done around 35 years gaming, now I feel old ha🥺

@AdamNovice was expecting a better first impression after reading all its positive praise and gameplay vids since it originally released. Its weird because I enjoyed the Dredge mini game version in Dave the Diver more than the actual Dredge game itself. Think Dave the Diver for me has a more fun gameplay loop I dunno. Could change when give Dredge more time though?

Tried Dredge for first time the other day on Extra while in the middle of enjoying Dave the Diver and was honestly very bored throughout its first hour. Plan on giving Dredge a few more hours so hopefully could get a bit better?

Enjoyed its main game campaign but haven't got round to any of its previous 2 dlc expansions. Now they're adding a 3rd I hope they do a bundle deal that includes all 3 at a slightly cheaper price and if bundle goes on a sale it'll be a bit more lower priced

Just gonna try enjoy the show for what it is. Its video games at the end of the day regardless if many of the reveals won't be to my tastes much at all. Do prefer The Game Awards a little more than SGF

Get a large bag of doritos and some chocolate hobnobs for dunking in hot cup of tea to end up spending 90% of its entire runtime speaking to myself or TV saying I'm not buying that, that game can f##k o##. Still watch it tho

Part 3 is a must imo, so is new IPs of course. ND obviously ain't stupid they know this. Forever one of my fav studios. If remasters don't hinder sequels or new IP much at all then it's a no brainer

All you had to do was save your money a little longer and get the X. Patience is a thing you know. I've never understood the existence of the S and never will do

@CrashBandicoat there is Ghost of Tsushima and its sequel to look forward to or are those of no interest either?. For me personally when PS 1st party is firing on all cylinders they do it better than the many 3rd party releases. We all need the 3rd party releases tho

A bit longer to make these huge triple AAA these days but I reckon the 2nd half of PS5 gen is gonna be a massive improvement over its 1st half. 2025, 26 and 27 are gonna be huge reveals wise for PS5 with improved SoP or Showcases, similar to or better than PS4s 2nd half?

I'd like to imagine if there is a Spider-man 2 expansion it's being saved for Summer Game Fest and a bigger Wolverine reveal is being saved for a bigger Showcase or another SoP later this year, would be nice. But yh Astro Bot saved that SoP last night from being marginally below ok. Aliens being PSVR2 only, this hurt me

Until Dawn was a fun time when first platted it in 2015 but this will be a no from me. Unless of course like others have said, it's a £10 upgrade path then yh it's a yes from me

This being an SoP and not the so called bigger Showcase, possibly means PlayStations reveals at Summer Games Fest could be a lot bigger than expected and potentially the big PS Showcase is later this year for what's to come in 2025 and potentially 2026 along with a PS5pro reveal. If we do get a Showcase this year that is

14+ titles being shown, so that's maybe 7 or 8 3rd party titles, 2 or 3 PSVR2 titles and possibly 3 or 4 1st party titles?

Be lying if said ain't a little excited for this given how there's actually 1st party this time in this SoP. Of course expectations are always in check still. Trying to get my head round it, as to what those 1st party releases are that are releasing this year, all that comes to mind is Concord and Astrobot off the top of my head. Hopefully a big 1st party release coming this year none of us saw coming would be nice. Wonder if Silent Hill 2 and MGS3 remakes be ready for this year

Over the moon if both of these end up happening. Both CV and Zero are some proper top tier RE experiences. Will be personally back in love with Capcom again if they do❤️‍🩹

Really looking forward to this, adored the first. Waiting for tons of reviews tho first. Is the single player campaign perfectly playable solo without the need of a coop partner to be enjoyed properly and how chunky long and fun is the campaign, hence wait for the reviews. Don't hate multiplayer ain't so big on it tho but this Warhammer SM2 world always has the potential to be something special multiplayer wise

Wherever there's a good possibility of making some serious profit, company's will try, makes sense. Couldn't care less about PlayStations approach to mobile phone gaming tho, as long as PS studios 1st party releases on PS5 eventually deliver the goods, that's all that matters

@trev666 yh feels that way on occasions. At least we do get Platinums to unlock though unlike Xbox achievements. Wish Nintendo did their own version of achievements/trophies

Fine without a platinum on any game free or payed. 13 trophies though is lazy from Ubisoft. Free Stumble Guys has a platinum. A 39p crappy comic book style game with no gameplay that lasts barely 5 or 10 minutes called Good Guys has more than double 13 trophies and a platinum to go with it

Still have my PS4 but don't play it since PS5 plays PS4. Pretty much just boot up PS4 to update it these days but everytime I do I kinda miss it in a way, the DualShock4 and all those PS4 gaming memories. 2014 to 2022 on PS4 such a great time and will go down as one of my favourite consoles no doubt about that

@MrBrownSword Agreed GT4 certainly is the pinnacle of GT single player career. All numbered Gran Turismo titles career mode have their own depth to them but GT4 came from a different planet depth wise, took it to a different insane level

A shame racing games have licensing issues. Imagine getting trophies for Gran Turismo 1, 2, 3 and 4, I'd be in Gran Turismo heaven

Not big on Lego games but it being Horizon I'll certainly play it at some point. Couldn't care less what anyone says Horizon games are so much fun open world adventures and adore Aloy as protagonist and she's gorgeous too. Love what Guerrilla are doing. Bring on this HZD remaster and Horizon 3

Their longterm vision ok, I'd like to see a very huge tasty slice of that in a showcase. Pretty sure PlayStation themselves ain't idiots and have looked into the reactions of their previous showcases and some SoPs and gone yh its been pretty disappointing reaction wise from fans these last 2 or 3 years and now we need to do something about this, you'd like to imagine that's their thought process. Not surprising though given how big triple AAA games these days are having longer development times than before. A bit more of a peep would be nice for what's to come

Not really concerned about its release date, it'll be ready when it's ready. Far more concerned about 9 being scary enough in parts and the overall creepy RE vibes 9 will have. Going from the fun scary RE7 to more actiony RE8Village was disappointing personally

It's natural for men to like chests and bottoms, nothing wrong with this. Haven't got round to it myself yet, only a bit of the demo. Looks a polished and a fun game, that's all that matters

Remember getting super bored of Fallout 3 on fatty PS3 back in the day, never again. Give me a tense Last of Us 1 or 2 or Days Gone kinda experience over Fallout any day

Dave is definitely getting installed. Remember last year Angryjoe checking Dave out, looked unique and interesting sushiman fishing. Enjoyed Moon so Mars is definitely getting installed too

Comparing both these game sales is fine but comparing both these games quality when both games are completely different is not fine. Absolutely nothing wrong with Spider-man 2. Insomniac have done top tier work in creating their version of open world Spider-man games, so much fun swinging flying around on it for me. HD2 ain't for me but nice to see it doing really well regardless

Wouldn't be surprised if Phils Microsoft deep pockets do a cheeky bid next year to buy Arrowhead studios

Buy PS5 to play PS5 exclusives and all the 3rd party stuff, not xBoX eXcLuSiVe gAmEs. Especially After watching AngryJoe review Starfield and Red fall. Even the latest Forza Motorsport looks so boring. Wouldn't mind having some of Rares older N64 games though, that collection of Rare games is the only real interest of mine, Sunset Overdrive too

Getting ports of Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie with trophies on PS would feels so good. New Wolfenstein and especially Sunset Overdrive would love to see on PS5

The original first RE remake will always be my fav. So glad they haven't decided to do a remake of a remake for the first RE remake with zero tank controls. That first remake is perfect as is. BRING BACK RE TANK CONTROLS with a little modern twist to it, would be perfection

Might not be many open world games in there, a bit more linear or sports game. Although Spidey2 and Hogwarts legacy open worlds are top or near the top, just goes to show how popular an open world game can be when done right. Not a dig at turnbased BG3 or other none open worlds, was never gonna be as popular as a well made open world is, especially with the name Spiderman and Potter attached to it. Surprised RE4 not a little higher considering all the praise it gets
