Cyberpunk 2077 on Ps5. Having a lot of fun and digging how not action adventure it feels. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love action adventure but having something that feels like an RPG is a rare treat

It’s great for kids and parents buy it. Yeh lots of adults play too but the reason they’re on top is cos of the parents buying for kids and the kids not being able to buy on their own. It’s a completely different type of machine and bears no relevance in PlayStation or Xbox circles

@WallyWest reviews almost across the board of 6 and 7 out of 10. It being described as having a dull and boring story and characters. It sold well based of peoples love of the first one. This one is crickets

100% and it’s par for the course. You see it happen here and there only for the first 2 years then in the 2nd it starts to happen a lot and by the 3rd they don’t release at all anymore on last gen. Ps5 is their latest anyway and they need to be focusing on that rather than allowing players on outdated machines to still be a part of it

Absolutely love Star Wars, yet again another game with its name that didn’t live up to expectations. Well my own anyway. Happens with every Star Wars game though. From the gate this game is 100% geared towards small children. It’s extremely basic. If you like mindless fun you’ll love it but there’s nothing to engage the ‘ol brain matter on this one for me. A few hours of play was enough to know this was going to be a return

@Apfelschteiner yeh it has, music, movies and tv shows. All as spectacularly large as they were pre subscription. Actually they’re even more grandiose than they’ve ever been. Gaming is the same sport it just costs a lot more to get in. A subscription system will follow as how 90% plus of its sales happen. It’s a matter of time. Blind Freddy can see that

Fair call. 3 months after their release would be great for users though. Definitely any more or even 6 months would be a bit of a piss take though. New games (I prefer to wait a few months anyway for optimisation post launch) are king and what people spend the most money on so they need to work something out as the future is definitely digital and subscription based if they like it or not. I say whether they like it or not as you know that’s where Microsoft is headed and they got way deeper pockets that Sony

I mean 7fps and then sped up is nothing to applaud BUT as you know, if you know anything about gaming that is, when some new tech launches whether that be a new gen console a new game engine etc the first stuff that is demo’d on it is like a drop in the ocean of what it will become in a mere handful of years. In other words this video doesn’t do anything for me other than signify what’s coming in the next 5 years or less. And that I am excited for because it’s going to make this video look sad in comparison 👌

Absolutely detest multiplayer personally. Zero or irrelevant slapped together story and it’s just skinned characters running around shooting each other over and over again. Boring

Just started the Ps5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 actually. Like just just started, about 1 hour play. It’s pretty good actually and I was one of the bozo’s that preordered it and got caught out wickedly too lol. Played it then for about 5 hours max probably on launch and although it ran well on my Ps5 (for the limited time I played it) I was appalled at the PS3 looks and feel it had. Now it looks good, not perfectly gorgeous like the next gen Horizon game but it is a year and a bit older than it after all. If this was the game I got back when it launched though id have been a happy Chappy, and I am now although as I said I’m an hour in so I reserve my final judgement till I’m at least 5-10 hours in and have a good sense of it

It’s not pay to win but it’s definitely pay to enjoy it to its maximum potential….after you pay full price (at whatever price point it currently is when you buy it) for the game. Hard pass

@get2sammyb you’d have to think the future will be 100% digital and will be a subscription service with tiers such as old games, “new to weekly” games and new release games with each tier increasing in price and granting access to the tiers below it. In an ideal world everything would be under the same banner aka a one stop shop like Netflix used to be. Knowing companies though every one will have their own and you’ll have to “hop” between them like with plethora of movie/tv show streaming services we have now.
And why would I want a game to fail? Because live service and online multiplayer games are cancer so I feel no shame in rejoicing at their failures. Also I care not for what other gamers like. Just my honest opinions and feelings on the matter. People may disagree and good for them

@gollumb82 agreed. I kept 9 Ps4 games and one of em (I count the trilogy as one as it’s 3 in 1) was the mafia trilogy

@gollumb82 Lincoln Clay is one of my all time favourite game characters. He’s pretty much the ultimate motherf***er haha. Just watch out for the few radiant quests you’ll come across when you meet new contacts. They’re pretty easy to spot and google knows all if you’re not sure. It’s a huge game though and they’re a minuscule part of it

Massive Star Wars fan (have all 11 on 4K bluray and mum has photos of me somewhere surrounded by merch for the original movies one Christmas) and also a massive gamer but have not loved a single Star Wars game ever. Closest I came was Super Star Wars on SNES but it was ultimately super hard and left you unable to progress and Podracer on N64 which was disappointing after the first course

Yeh I was excited about Prince of Persia in the late 80’s but now 0%
