I’m happy with my PSVR2 purchase given how much time I spend with it on my face and games I’ve purchased, but this is just ridiculous. I’m still waiting on that Assassin’s Creed vr game. Hoping both are timed exclusives.

Not to mention, both would probably look and perform better with the tech the PS5 packs.

I can understand console games being platform exclusive because of the larger player base, But I draw the line here.

Very excited for this after their work on the Dead Space remake. I wonder if we’ll see any horror elements in the game, maybe something from the Demon in a bottle storyline.

Hoping they take advantage of the flight mechanics BioWare laid down and have some killer airal and ground combat systems.

Probably a second half of the console generation launch.

Great review. I may wait for a sale or some updates to see how this does over time but I’ve been itching for a new Outlast game.
Really hope it’s as scary as the first game.

Does anyone know if the deluxe or ultimate edition upgrades can be bought as an add on if we buy the standard edition and choose to upgrade later?

I personally had a blast playing at launch. One of my favorite VR games this year. Got about halfway through, so looking to jump back in after the update.

Can't wait to use those web wings. Also really curious to see if the symbiote will have its own skill tree and if Miles ever wears it. Hoping Venom is an unlockable playable character after finishing the story!

With people moving on from live service titles, the one constant in the industry would be singeplayer games. It's a section of the market i see lasting forever where other gaming trends come and go.

Then there's the whole idea of game development getting longer with some games chasing trends that may fade away by said games launch. Just something to think about

Had to return my PSVR2 headset and get a replacement as I wasn't seeing anything inside during setup. Hopefully this isn't a common issue as I have already purchased a few games and am waiting to play

Does this game have offline bots if i dont want to play online against other players?

Same. It makes sense from a business standpoint to capitalize on Playstation branded earbuds, but I wish my existing Bluetooth earbuds just worked naturally with the PS5

Olli Olli World is my personal game of the year. I was truly amazed by how much content it was packing and how addictive the gameplay got once you got it into muscle memory.

Haven't checked out the other game, but may give it a try!

I would say 8.5/10
The story was fantastic and improved upon the characters and overall message from the first game.
The realms felt a bit large especially after you finish part of the story going all the way to the end of a relam and then going all the way back. Granted, in some cases going back felt different with some additional boss battles, but that made the game feel a bit long.
Also, maybe this is just me, but I found the puzzles to be a bit complex. I think it would be nice to have an accessibility option "skip to solution".
Lastly the UI confused me a bit with all the new menus and I kept forgetting to equip amulets.

Overall, I had fun with this and will go back and play some side content. A game of the year contender for me.

Agreed. It makes no sense to me why normal retail wouldn't get the option. Maybe they will come at a later date and it was reserved for PS Direct because of supply shortages.

Absolutely loved the recent Naruto Storm games. Shinobi Striker was fun but Storm is my definitive series. The Botuto manga has covered a good bit of content and the games ripe for another entry. Can't wait!

Looks great! Would love to see legacy maps like Favela, High Rise and Dome make a comeback.

This could be a ton of fun! Will keep my eyes peeled for this one!

This game has zero ties to the MCU and is probably different iterations of the characters. Plus its a whole different story. Overall, looking forward to it, but will wait for reviews

This was one of the few PS5 launch games I missed out on. Will be picking it up for Black Friday.

Have not been able to play local offline multi-player. When I select it, it says installing and stays stuck on that screen.
I enjoyed the campaign, but gje multi-player is why I want ro stay long term. Hope the issue is fixed soon.

SO glad to see Gotham Knights up there. Much better than the reviews. Not an arkham game and I'm perfectly happy with that.

Hopefully it has a long healthy post launch lifespan.

The flashy effects themselves may be a reason I end up purchasing this. Looking good!

Despite all the negativity in the comments, I fully enjoyed my time with the beta and am looking forward to the launch. The new gunsmith seems fun and I'm still getting a feel of the new maps. Glad to see the series taking some creative risks too

Looking forward to playing as Ghost Rider, Magik and Doctor Strange.
This game seems to be breathing new life into the superhero genre and I'll be there day one.

The game looks fantastic so far, but I really only have time to play 1 big open world game at a time. The extra polish will go a long way. Will definitely be picking this up next year!

Well the game was designed initially as a cross Gen game which meant the graphics would probably be based on performance of both the PS4 and PS5 hence the reason it may not look as "next gen". If this was built for the PS5 from the ground up from the get go, then it'd look different

Would like to see something different than Riddler Trophies if he really is in the game.
