Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was the best-selling physical video game in the UK for a second week in a row. Sales were down 42 per cent, but with almost all games experiencing a dip in their second week on the market, this particular decrease is actually impressive compared to other titles. The FPS is expected to stay in the UK's top 10 chart for a while now, but it may be dislodged next week when the sales of God of War Ragnarok are reported.
There's no movement in second place either, as FIFA 23 retains silver. The biggest mover in the top 10 would be Gotham Knights, which finds itself in the ninth position after claiming fifth last week. The only other PS5, PS4 title present is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It stays in 10th place, with the rest of the chart made up of the usual Nintendo Switch exclusives.
When it's reported next Monday, this week's chart should make for interesting reading. Modern Warfare 2 was the PS Store's biggest-ever game launch on the digital side, and the game has gone on to record the series' biggest release in history. However, will it keep top spot when God of War Ragnarok arrives on Wednesday? It'll be interesting to see.
Here's the latest top 10 in full.
