Re: Review: The Evil Within 2 (PS4)

I took the plunge hoping it would be up to snuff, but I wasn't really scared at all... I stopped playing after the first chapter and sold it to gamestop the next day

Re: Bungie Is Looking Into Improving Destiny 2's Endgame

@WanderingBullet I actually went back to D1 cuz I still had missions to finish... Which is why I stopped playing. The missions gave me something to do and it was always a fun challenge. I think my favorite was trying to get a hand cannon headshot kill spree which was a very rewarding accomplishment. Missions are sorely missed...

Re: Game of the Month: Top 4 PlayStation Games of September 2017

@themcnoisy not really... I actually went back to the first destiny and FF9. I felt like they dumbed down the game too much for main stream tweakers who didn't like D1 because they didn't know what to do or how to play. I was more challenged in D1 so it's a bit of a let down that they're making it more acessable for the people who couldn't play it rather than for the hardcore fans...

@gmxs yea I don't think bungie wants to get up for work at 1 am just to waste a good sleep for European players to have their play time after work... I'm sure it would be a different story if bungie was in Europe but I'm glad at least somebody can be optimistic like you and keep a considerable mindset about time zones and daily life.

Re: Here's Your Very First Look at the Tomb Raider Movie

@get2sammyb GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....You can probably tell I'm a big fan of tomb raider huh? For real reasons, though, Angelina looked just like LARA, acted like her and in real life they were almost identical. They were both goddesses, smart, adventurous and helped a lot of people all over the world and did stuff for a good cause. Not saying the new Lara isn't and doesn't help people but I feel like the new Lara doesn't look like her at all... still looks like a good movie and definitely gonna see it!!!

Re: Destiny 2 Butchers Shaders for the Sake of Microtransactions

Ya I can totally agree that the shader system in D2 is really unfair compared to D1 as sometimes I like to switch back and forth thru the colors I like depending on my mood. But now I may have to pay actual money to be able to do that? I hope none of you actually pay them money to do that so they realize how ridiculous it is to pay money to change a color of your armor is.

Re: Push Rewind: Did Destiny Deliver in the End?

@clvr don't take other peoples opinions to heart. Try the demo at least! There is a great single player story to experience... many guns and weapons and gear to try and earn, and about the repetitiveness, if you just keep doing the same weapon, same abilities and never try different things, of course it's gonna feel repetitive, that's the problem with people who think it's repetitive, they don't try different things. Try different guns and stuff! I can guarantee if you like halo you'll love destiny. (:

Re: Destiny 2 Has a Measly 14 Trophies at Launch

@ShogunRok whether you think it's half a game or not, I've enjoyed the way bungie made destiny as a base game that releases more awesome content than any game could even compare to for the next 2-3 years so I can keep playing a game I love with all my friends👽

Re: Soapbox: Hellblade's Permadeath Threat Is What Makes Games Special

1eyedlink

I was a bit worried about it being "permadeath" permadeath. But all in all you not only get a handful of lives, but you can dodge it out during a fight for a health regen or X button mash out of near-death from what I've played so far. Those elements really make it satisfying because I really struggle when it comes to games like Nioh where you die quickly and abruptly if you're not careful enough or constantly on guard.

Side note: If you like amazing cutscenes, mind shattering puzzles, literally "insane" stories and battles that are so gripping and intense that you jump off your seat with joy when you win, don't hesitate, dodge, and buy it. Well done NT. Well (worthy curseword) done.
