Project EVE Becomes Stellar Blade, It Looks Pretty Stellar Too

One of my most anticipated games for the last few years. Cannot wait. I liked the original title though more.

I can see why Yoko Taro is hyped for this.

It has similarities to nier automata great game play, and peak female design.

This game is now on my radar.

This looks pretty good. I keep looking for a 3D action game to grab me, maybe this will be the one?

I was curious when this was first shown last year and now, I'm hyped for it. Stellar Blade is also a pretty cool title

Gameplay looks fun. Im expecting a bad story at the same time lol. But it's on my list of games to check out.

@UltimateOtaku91 I I thought it was Chinese cause the visuals look like the usual 'Trying too hard to ultra-pretty, that it comes off looking weird' that Chinese developers have been pushing for. Just look at the Bob cut on the girl. It looks like it is jittering. lmao

I think that game is made by a Korean studio but is dubbed in Japanese.

WOW!... Now this is what I pay for hardware... amazing, excited and then some!

Game needs an Art Book. Even if just architecture and industrial design concept art.

@UltimateOtaku91 I had to watch the stream muted due to being at work. So I only had the visual presentation to off. TBH forgot there was Korean studios that make stuff other than P2W MMOs.

Is this a Sony funded game? Just the Sony entertainment at the start had me wondering. guessing it's not timed exclusive.

I will buy this because western games have long abandoned female beauty. The game's graphics made it into the top 3 on this show.

One of the best highlights in the presentation. Of all the upcoming Devil May Cry/Bayo-like action games from Asia (outside of Japan) I'm looking forward to this and Lost Soul Aside the most.

The new name is pretty generic but so was Project Eve so...meh, no harm done.

Reminds me of bayonetta gameplay wise, but with good art design and less cringe. Still don't get why bayonetta is one of platinums most popular franchises, despite them having a treasure trove of better games.
I digress, Stella looks amazing!

@Ssimsim I'm assuming PS will have some kind of exclusivity window for this game. It would be extremely smart business to lock it down in some way. As someone who doesn't own a PS5, I'm seriously thinking this is the game that will make me run out and try and get one.

Edit: Scanning over some outlets that have reported on Stellar Blade, including Game Rant, Destructoid and Escapist, this is being labelled a launch exclusive for PS5 next year. The wording suggests there is some kind of exclusivity window.

Yeah I thought it was PlayStation only maybe PC aswell by the way it said Sony computer entertainment before the trailer. Similar to some housemarque games before Sony acquired the studio.

By far the coolest thing I saw from State of Play last night.

Without a doubt one of the best games shown looks stunning.

The Korean devs at Shift Up are experts when it comes to female assets ! Between Stellar Blade and their new mobile game NIKKE, we're going to be getting a lot of assets in the future.
