What Games Will Be Shown or Announced at PlayStation's State of Play Livestream?

Sony hasn't confirmed any specific games for its upcoming State of Play presentation, so there's nothing we can be 100% sure about. However, we can infer some things from what is stated on the PS Blog.

According to Sony, this month's State of Play features "news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe," including "third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios".

It sounds like this will be a wide-reaching State of Play, then, with games big and small, and even some updates from PlayStation Studios itself.

On that latter point, it seems highly likely we'll get updates on Marathon and Saros, which are the next first-party games in the pipeline.

We may also see something about Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, as that's set to arrive sometime in 2026. Marvel's Wolverine feels less likely as that's pencilled in for Fall 2026, so will probably be a focus later in the year.

As for third-party games, it's more difficult to predict what'll appear, but high-profile games like 007 First Light, Resident Evil Requiem, and maybe LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight feel like fairly safe bets.
