Re: EA Sports College Football 26 Will Build Upon the Best-Selling US Sports Game Ever

As someone who considers this series my absolute favorite, I think I’ll take a wait and see approach. Last year’s release was a breath of fresh air in the stale football market- the kind of impact that few games in the series have had-‘98, 2002, 2006, and 2014.

In this article, it sounds like EA marketing speech for changes that will be hard to notice. They have done this with Madden since they bought the exclusive license back in 2004- all hype, no substance. If it doesn’t completely outshine 25, then prepare for excuses like shirt dev cycles.

I absolutely love and adore CFB 25. It plays a great, and more importantly, FUN game of football. That’s enough for me. For now.

Re: Almost 3,000 Massive PS5, PS4 Deals Added to PS Store

@UltimateOtaku91 This! When I got my PS5, only the digital version was available. Even though I had a mostly digital library on my PS4 and Xbox One, I still had a disc drive and would take chances on games that I found interesting. Now, with digital only, I am very picky about what games I buy, and I usually wait for them to go on sale or be available through PS Plus.

I guess I could trade for a disc based version now that they are more available, but, in this economy, it’s hard to justify.

Re: Poll: How Much Do You Care About 60fps on PS5?

I have always been a console player. My middle son built a gaming PC and was always talking about frame rate. I didn’t pay it too much attention.

It wasn’t until I started playing games on the higher frame rate that I noticed the difference. Now, I’m a frame rate snob. I won’t play it unless it’s at 60fps.

I am a fan of the series from the PS3 days, but haven’t played a new one since ‘19. Since I haven’t touched a new game in three years, it feels very much improved. I am having a blast with it. They have added a lot since ‘19.

The problem with yearly sports games is that it’s hard to innovate year after year. It’s my favorite genre, and I’ve been playing them for 30 years now. They should be released every two to three years, with roster updates and other tweaks in between.
