The long-awaited EA Sports College Football 25 marked a milestone moment in virtual sports history, as it went on to become the best-selling game in the genre ever in the United States.
Now, a year on, it’ll be interesting to see if EA Sports College Football 26 can have the same kind of impact. The game’s officially due out on 10th July, although those who purchase the more expensive Deluxe Edition will unlock obligatory Early Access from 7th July.
As for the sequel itself, well it’s aiming to build upon the ground-breaking gameplay from last year’s release. You’ll find new offensive and defensive gameplay mechanics across 2,700 new plays and 10,000 fresh players, promising the most authentic experience yet.
Among the improvements to realism is the addition of 300 real-life coaches and fresh presentation packages that promise to capture the unique feel of each individual team.
You’ll also find updated single player modes like Road to Glory, where you start your career as a young student athlete and work your way up the ranks – as well as an improved Dynasty mode with more to micromanage and an increasingly unpredictable transfer portal.
