Seeing the results I'm really starting to think that the online only community is more on pc than anything else.

My son does not even touch ps4.

And frankly for online addicts I think pc is the place to be. I'm more than happy with my ps4 as it is.

Man I wonder the game gets boring quickly then there are millions of players playing fortnite which is same map same strategy same game every time.
I don't get it!!

Don't care nor about the game which according to my humble opinion is a waste of time and effort nor to cross play which never existed before. I care about games that matter fantastic single player experience with a recognizable way forward and a little touch of multiplayer where it matters.

I'll buy the switch to play with x box one users. To play paladins. And maybe they ll switch off the servers in one years time. Oh these news are just sorry and pathetic.

Sony has run clear this generation as they seem to have programmed every step. Fantastic realeses and exclusives that are driving the competition insane. This on a 5 year old machine.

@ReanSchwarzer7 I saw my son playing it for while. Its a mediocre game I agree. Its also a modern game with no thinking and puzzles to solve as it goes up with most of the today's thinking. Oh and its free!

They will all do fine. Dragon is a hit in Japan. The others will do fine over here. In my opinion.

@get2sammyb I bought DJmax respect but sincerely failed in the early stages. Its hard very hard in my opinion but did not give it much time as I'm in fifa 18 with sliders mind you wolvenstein it's a great game and portal knights. But I sincerely want to know if DJ max is really that hard.

crash spyro and others that way. Yes I know how it feels. Today we have a walkthrough and how to get the best weapons barely hours after the game is released. We lost the wow factor and the discovery thrill. I miss those days.

Today we have unfinished games released all the time gb of patches and endless dlc.

Most important thing may 2018 be a great year for gaming exclusive or not indie triple A whatever. The industry will grow all will benefit.

I bought psvr recently for 250 euro. I'm impressed but looking forward for some good games. I played resident 7 rez infinite batman robinson. It is realy another world.

I was really worried about motion sickness. I'm in my forties now. I played at intervals of no more than 90 minutes each. Sometimes less depending on the game. I did fine. Stay on the couch if you feel tired just put it off and take a break. You should be fine. I also experienced all the games on the second lot. We are going to have a good year in psvr. Also normal mediocre games do feel a little special as well. Try it.

If the sales on doom on switch we're on Vita it would have been considered a failure. Even more Nintendo is portable gaming.

Let's put another picture why did the Wii U fail. It had Nintendo exclusives to start with.

Vita is an excellent machine but market expectations and the fact it was never bundled with PS4 means it did not succed.

On the other hand like the current situation everyone has a share in the market so we are allhappy that way.

I am playing shadow warrior and the touch pad in that game is implemented perfectly meaning with a bit of thinking it can be useful.

Also with psvr that I recently purchased it is useful.

Dualshock 4 is very good in my opinion

@AFCC A game with the budget of call of duty may I say is even more unforgivable.

@AFCC I think I saw an article that it won't work until release date on psn. Maybe that's why.

NoFor the sake of my collection I cannot opt digital.Although I buy most indie titles or psn games digitally. Sales like the one actually running right now on the stores are a big factor in going digital. I bought sniper ghost warrior agents of mayhem Deadpool Titanfall 2 for as little as 48 Sterling ie 55 60 euro.

A console concept with the player in mind. Never had a "For the players" meant so much. Look at the exclusives one after the other. Sony has left competition and our pockets breathless. 😀

A game for adults with an adult story. It will be 18 for sure. Are Saw movies too much. If they are for you don't watch. It's simple.

I love single player experience. I don't have hours daily to play and upgrade my collection of loot. I want to play my way ease in when I want and have an experience I can remember. I don't want a freaking head to shoot me as soon as I arrive and restart maybe because he has a hundred hour playtime under his belt.

Every publisher must have his go at multiplayer. Also every publisher must have his go at single player.

If they implement multiplayer they should select the kind of players you play with according to age playtime and level. The last thing that I want during my relaxation time is a freaking ten year old shouting at me because he had nothing to do meanwhile I was hard working for my family and children.

As I said before you can't beat a single player experience by multiplayer. He is right in what he says. Single player experience are essential to the game industry. Then theres is wow call of duty battlefield smite and many others for the others who like online. With a fine balance all can co exist. If they go all to one side the industry will fail big time.

Well maybe but I don't think so. Reading a magazine has its moment. But reading a good book is another thing. You know what I mean.

Single player games are the core of gaming. They offer the magic moments. Tell me what kind of memorable moment you had in overwatch. But all will remember the classic story of bioshock.

Unfortunately not all developers are ready or are up to a single player story.

It's like music. It's a modern concept create the environment and let them play. No thinkling around.

@Eternallover21 Not the only one but I can see it's an average game with major flows. I will get it eventually mind you. But I'll wait for the usual patches first. It will be on discount by Christmas.

So many good games this year. I nearly spend gbp150 last time having bought it twice with expansions. It's simply 2 much. When it launched ps4 was just at the beginning and it was bundled as well. This year many will wait for black Friday or discounts as for sure it will feature in the 12 deals for Christmas. Can't blame gamers.

Also time span for this game is incredibly long. We are talking 3 years of updating and expansions.

@IceClimbers if they struggle we should be ashamed because those you mentioned are great upcoming games. I think there are more peaple who buy 2 or 3 games a year which are Cod Fifa and battlefield or something like overwatch. Then there are those who buy good single player games and for those kind of gamers this was a financial hard year

Single player games will never die. Look at call of duty ww2. The trailer is nothing about the online it's all single player. Therefore the SP is that who sparks interest. Then there's online which when done correctly like raids in destiny adds up to the experience.

On the other hand SP games require good scripting or at least interesting mission build up diverse adversaries and satisfying progression. If you're not good enough to program something like that than you're not good in SP programming sorry. Then you revert to online only.

@get2sammyb To be fair with all the games we got in 2017 indies all the time blockbuster titles I had enough for this year. My wishlist triggers 44 entries and I spend already more than enough. My next shopping list include prey mass effect knack 2 and hopefully I get a discount on some indies black guard 2 and shadow tactics look very decent. I must say this was a very good year best in years.

Destiny 2 will be better than one which in itself is a complete beast. One of the best first person shooter ever made. And above all we have three years of complete support. The only thing that bugs in here is the pricey dlc.as always

Microtransactions are the children of f2p mobile gaming the curse in the gaming industry. They should have been left there were they were born.

I for certain have no problem if you buy your whole gaming library on the switch. Neither should any one else. But since we are on ps site we really don't care.
