As someone who loves JRPGs I already wasn't really interested as it was mostly lauded by people who hate JRPGs but post release balance changes are definitely the final straw here - that's just ridiculous in a single player RPG
@darkswabber GT7 is doing just fine. And in any case it's only live service to the degree of some added content and online multiplayer options. Most of the always online thing is due to FIA.
Maybe you could call it a game with some live service elements but it would be fine for years if you mostly left it alone now and just rotated around the multiplayer races
Microsoft invested more than a million hours into play testing old games to see if they emulate well on Series X and Series S. The issue isn't that Sony couldn't get them to run, they don't have the resources to be able to guarantee that they would run well/add enhancements. And if they did have the resources they wouldn't just be able to use them with no regards for profit as Microsoft is.
I would be very surprised if Sony didn't have an in house PS3 emulator but being able to greenlight something like that is quite different to a passion project like RSPC3 (which in itself took years to be usable)
@PossibLeigh Just not a fan of the style of gameplay and when I get stuck at a specific point it'll often take me ages to get past as you constantly start from the beginning. I think for a roguelike to be a game I'll enjoy it would have to have scaling difficulty options like Hades
@Hyperluminal that's not true. In the UK you have 30 days to return something if it's faulty. You have legal rights for six years but those get more difficult to enforce after six months (in which in most case you'll get a replacement or refund) as they depend on how long an item should reasonably be expected to last
@leucocyte You always vaccinate people who are likely do die from something first so even if it is spreading in schools, the people vulnerable to it don't get infected and die. There's so much we don't know about how all of this is gonna play out that it's the only strategy that can work
@God_of_Nowt are you sure about the game UK thing? They've told me they would only change it if stores are closed at least a week before the console releases

@KundaliniRising333 impressive levels of word salad sprinkled with conspiracy theories

Re: Gran Turismo 7 Currency Rewards to Be Increased Following Player Backlash
One million credits? That's enough to buy myself a Jaaaaaaag
Re: Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection's PS5 Trophies Are a Complete Bust
Nah sorry, I refuse to believe anyone would not buy this game just because of a certain platinum requirement lmao

Re: Microsoft Buys Call of Duty Publisher Activision Blizzard
Quite happy to become a console wars person at this right. This monopolistic crap is beyond disgusting
Re: Sega Wants Persona Dev Atlus to Do Simultaneous Worldwide Launches
Yakuza Like a Dragon did not have a global launch, It was released a lot earlier in Japan than it was in the rest of the world

Re: Hands On: Why You Should Be Hyped for Returnal, the Next Great PS5 Exclusive
I actually was interested in this game until they said it's a roguelike - that sort of killed my interest in the game unfortunately
Re: Over 15,000 People Have Signed a Petition for Days Gone 2
@Daveuppercut I don't think a lot of people outside some very online bubbles care about a sequel to Days Gone tbh
Re: Sony Confirms PS3, PS Vita, PSP Store Closures, Downloads Will Be Retained
That'll be a yikes from me

Not gonna lie, I have respect for those lawyers making a quick buck of those lawsuits that they know won't go anywhere
Re: Some Fans Think a PS5 Back Button Attachment May Be Imminent
Feel like calling a niche product like this extremely popular is a bit of a stretch

Re: Epileptics Should Take Note Before Playing Cyberpunk 2077
Even if there was no bad intention here I'm really baffled this could pass QA. Doesn't bode well for how polished the game will be at launch
