@darkswabber GT7 is doing just fine. And in any case it's only live service to the degree of some added content and online multiplayer options. Most of the always online thing is due to FIA.

Maybe you could call it a game with some live service elements but it would be fine for years if you mostly left it alone now and just rotated around the multiplayer races

Microsoft invested more than a million hours into play testing old games to see if they emulate well on Series X and Series S. The issue isn't that Sony couldn't get them to run, they don't have the resources to be able to guarantee that they would run well/add enhancements. And if they did have the resources they wouldn't just be able to use them with no regards for profit as Microsoft is.

I would be very surprised if Sony didn't have an in house PS3 emulator but being able to greenlight something like that is quite different to a passion project like RSPC3 (which in itself took years to be usable)

@Hyperluminal that's not true. In the UK you have 30 days to return something if it's faulty. You have legal rights for six years but those get more difficult to enforce after six months (in which in most case you'll get a replacement or refund) as they depend on how long an item should reasonably be expected to last

@leucocyte You always vaccinate people who are likely do die from something first so even if it is spreading in schools, the people vulnerable to it don't get infected and die. There's so much we don't know about how all of this is gonna play out that it's the only strategy that can work
