I enjoyed Elden Ring for the most part,but really did not enjoy the switch to open world.

I also can't mention enough how happy I am they are building off the traditional Souls level design instead of going full open world. I hated that about Elden Ring.

I'm so happy to see the sequel seems to be getting love from just about all who have played it.

Not gonna lie though....I kind of liked the death traps in the original. I thought it added to the brutal and cruel nature of the world. Annoying? Certainly, but I didn't think it was that bad lol

Its the only FF game I've ever gone out of my way to play.

Its so sick. I almost wish it wasn't FF because it deserves better than to be ***** on just because its different from the previous 15 games.

I hope it gets sequels. I love Clive and this world they have created. Itd be a shame to toss it to the side when this game is such a damn solid foundation for more great action games.

This game has made me experience feelings I haven't felt since I was like 14/15 fighting Poseidon in the opening of God Of War 3.

I applaud that. The boss fights in this game are a spectacle that I feel has been missing from gaming for a very long time.

They're asking $50 for PS3 gen game and they couldn't even pretty it up a little bit?

WarnerBros owns the IP. The same company that funds NRS games with good graphics like Mortal Kombat and Injustice...so why does this look so off?

They say one thing then turn around and do another. Phil's nice guy facade is so annoying.

I know the FF core base might be a little turned off by the switch but this new direction is exactly why I pre-purchased a copy.

The reviewer mentions over the top cinematics and epic battles that would make GoW3 blush, or comparing the combat to Devil May Cry and I agree based on the demo. I loved it.

It just reminded me of a game I would have loved back in the PS2/PS3 era....but with sexy PS5 graphics 🔥

I tried the demo and loved it. I'm not a big FF guy (I have only played the ps1 version of 7) but because I am a DMC guy I had to try this out and man....this is gonna be something special. I could tell.

I literally finished the demo and hopped online to pre order a physical copy lmao. Just goes to show, demos are a good thing. I probably wouldn't have touched this until a massive sale years after the fact but because I got to test it risk free, they're getting my $70.

Take not game devs/studios. This is the way.

That Phantom 0 Samurai game looked ridiculously good though. Those combat animations were bonkers.

That first game was borderline unplayable. I have played N64 games with better feeling controls than the first Lords game.

This new one looks beautiful. If they can just make the character movement and combat not feel like it has 10f input delay it should be great.

Well, I guess that is the closest thing we'll get to Superman or Omni-Man in Mortal Kombat so I'm down for that.

Plus Homelander fits MK in the sense he's an evil ***** with no qualms against killing lol

I'm hoping this is more about going back to the first ever Mortal Kombat tournament rather than simply back to the events of the first game which is technically the 10th tournament between Outworld and Earthrealm.

So if we rewind back to the "1" it should be the tournament where Goro kills the Great Kung Lao and his win streak begins.

Maybe the plot of MK12 is to time meddle and prevent that or change the outcome some how.

Even in the 90's they re-released SF2 like 9 times with each updated version costing full price if you were buying home ports.

I miss E3. I used to enjoy tuning in for each conference. It was like an annual thing and it was fun.

It sucks all these companies have abandoned it to do their own virtual versions. From a business perspective I understand but as a consumer I preferred the old E3.

They could remake it and maybe tweak the storyline enough for it to make more sense.

If not RE0 I think Devil May Cry 1 should get a remake using the engine DMC5 used.

Also....Darkstalkers. C'mon Capcom....you either need to make DS4 or reboot it.

Their SONY they should be able to create their own PS Exclusive FPS game.

If Activision as crappy as they are can keep making CoDs people like certainly any number of Sony's studios could replicate their formula....probably do it better even.

I don't play FPS games so idk or really care about CoD on PS but I just don't see what makes CoD specifically so special? Is it riding on the name at this point?

The first game played terribly. Its not often I drop a game I pay money for but it was so unresponsive and janky feeling.

I have played PS2 games with more fluid combat and more responsive controls. The game feels like it has 10 frames of input lag or something.

Usually not into survival but I'm interested simply on the basis its inspired buy Old Norse and the Viking Age.

Don't blame the consumer on the game's shortcomings. Thats lame.

The second he said they designed the first main boss to feel like a fighting game I was sold lol

Bloodstained was super entertaining as well, and this does look similar at least in terms of gameplay.

As a Soulsborne fanatic I'm still looking forward to it. These grimdark Soulslike action rpgs are the best things to happen to gaming for me personally in years lol

Its fantastic. As much as I loved Elden Ring, massive open worlds can get exhausting. Sometimes I just want a more linear experience where I can focus on combat and like Nioh and Nioh 2 before it Wo Long strongly delivers in that regard.

A punishing soulslike and an interesting spiritual successor to the Nioh series. I am loving it so far even if it's probably going to cause me some hair-loss by the time I reach the credits lol

I don't double dip enough for this to really affect me but it sounds like a nice QoL for people who share one machine 👍

My uncle who works at Nintendo played the beta this weekend and absolutely loved it.
