Persona 5 What Are You Playing This Weekend

We're into April now, which means that Easter is right around the corner and summer looms temptingly on the horizon. It also means that, while most of the big blockbusters have been pushed out ahead of the new fiscal year, there's a colourful array of smaller content for you to sink your teeth into. The question is: what are you playing?

I'm still muddling my way through Mass Effect: Andromeda, but I don't really seem to be making a dent in its storyline. The game seems to be really good at tempting you into investing hours into very little progress. I'm not sure whether I appreciate that or not really...

With a brief break between reviews, I'll be trying to catch up on stuff that I've missed. Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization got a huge update not too long ago that basically adds a free expansion, so I may as well give that a shot. Elsewhere, Ghost Recon: Wildlands might be on the agenda. It's painstakingly generic, but play co-op with the right people and it turns into Team America: The Video Game.

This weekend – along with finally finishing off Horizon: Zero Dawn – I'll be continuing to nibble away at Persona 5. Its been that long since a mainline Persona game that I don't want to gorge myself on this stellar JRPG, but instead take the time to savour every last minute of its greatness.

Before I completely dive into Persona 5 and never come back out again, I'm finishing up VA-11 Hall-A on Steam, the fascinating cyberpunk bar tending visual novel. I wasn't expecting to have something prioritised over Persona, but it's just so great.

After consoling myself with a new playthrough of Persona 4, I finally got my Persona 5 steelbook via delayed post. That is pretty much my entire weekend written off.

I've somehow managed to fall behind on Horizon: Zero Dawn despite loving it to bits, so I'm aiming to make some serious progress this weekend. I'll also be playing some more of April's headline PlayStation Plus title Drawn to Death, a surprisingly entertaining shooter with buckets of personality and plenty of depth. Well worth a look if you're after an action game with both style and substance.

Due to the latest Humble Bundle, which I couldn't resist, I have quite a bit of games to get to this weekend. On PS4 it will be Darksiders, Destroy All Humans, and Diablo III. Wii U wise I am hoping to get some Zelda in.

So with another rather robust issue of WAYP out of the way, we want to know what you're playing. You know the drill: let us know in the comments section below.
