Honestly I hate reading and commenting on articles such as this, due mainly to the internet’s “extreme” behaviour. The, “if your not on my side, your a racist and homophobic bigot” becomes tiring to deal with, and I’m a member of a very specific site that supports this train of thought (despite it claiming to be different).

But I will simply say that we do not know all the facts. Some of these accusations, although possible, seem absolutely insane. I’m a supporter of innocent until proven guilty, no matter the situation.

That doesn’t mean I support dogpiling if someone is unable to present evidence. I don’t support that, and I don’t support it from either sides. A great example of this is the ‘recent’ ND comments about sexual harassment on site.

It’s all gone quiet now, purely due to the fact that he was unable to backup anything he said. Was he lying? Unable to say, but am I going to boycott ND games? Absolutely not, especially when nothing has been proven.

Seems similar here, in the fact that many online will keep hunting after Quantic now, with all the labels they can think of, just because of something that was said. Were they lying? Unable to say. Are QD homophobic racists, that also happen to be immature? No, because I have no reason to believe them to be, other than Bob and Mandy claiming comments that have been heard along with there being pictures of turds on the walls. There’s nothing else that can be said, surely? There doesn’t need to be a 600 page thread, or tweets with new hashtags and smarmy comments by members of the press.

Why can’t we all wait until there is something more significant?

@seanobi I think you’ve gotten a little confused. He actually said each playthrough has taken multiple days, and he is now starting his 3rd play-though. It sounds quite meaty.

Will also say, hit reg and clipping during fights really doesn’t help and just makes it more frustrating.

I enjoyed what was there. Time limits were tedious, as was the fact that there was no tutorial whatsoever so it felt kind of overwhelming with all the mechanics.

Overall, although I enjoyed it, I may have to wait before throwing the money down to be sure, as I don’t know whether taking on hunts one after another will still be entertaining 20 hours in.

People online are talking about the symbols in the background being the same as some Caryll Runes.

I’m still keeping my expectations in check, but I’m excited!

Hopefully they change up the direction. With a new studio behind it, I have hope.

I’m not a big fan of the ‘Replayable, wide linear’ layout of the first 2. It doesn’t feel right, considering the story.

Talking of the story, let’s hope the new writers can pull through.

@3MonthBeef That wasn’t really the point I was trying to make though. The argument is about gaming on the go, with the vocal minority talking about playing outside of the household.

It’s pure convenience playing undocked at home. In my opinion, that isn’t gaming on the go.

I think it’s got to be the treatment and support from Nintendo, that pushes people to change their tone.

This is Nintendo’s new Home Console. Their main system, whereas the Vita was a compliment to Sony’s main system. This adds the benefits of Nintendo’s first party fully dedicated to the platform, as well as giving 3rd parties a clear sight at the future of Nintendo rather than splitting their support between different systems.

This is the only way forward for Nintendo fans, they don’t have another option of a dedicated home platform so they have been forced to give it a go and while some do enjoy the portability aspect, I personally still think they are in the minority. I will never forget the poll on one of Nintendo’s Twitter pages asking where people play their Switch most, outside at the park? On the train? At the beach? Or at home.

90% said at home....

Also about Mad Max, "......to see if it's as good as everyone says it is". It was ripped critically, the reason I enjoyed it was because of how low my expectations were going in.

I hope the extra year has allowed them to add all of the features from the previous + improvements (Such as a solid campaign). If not this game will be slaughtered releasing in October, in a busy fall for racing games. PC2 is out late Sept, Forza out early October, and both of these games will be fresh for reviewers when playing GT Sport.

The big updates tend to go out around September, so I could see an announcement the end of the month (July), listing its core features, and then the beta to start August.

I don't believe this because of how well Horizon did both commercially and critically. I guarantee that the sequel is already greenlit. Unless of course your saying another team, besides Guerrilla Games is developing it, such as one of their subsidiaries.

I don't know whether this article is going along with the joke or not, but they aren't actually mocaping the pig . The pig is owned by Jessie Graff, a stunt women, who is performing stunts for TLOU part 2. The pig went with her to work, at ND.

Don't bother with anymore shows, and pile everything onto PSX. After last years PSX, I feel like people's expectations are high.

Hate to be negative, but with the time this game is taking coupled with Sony dropping some recent indies, it wouldn't surprise me if Sony dropped this too.

This is great news, and I'm well chuffed that Future Press are handling it.

They did a fantastic job with the Bloodborne guide, so I'm looking forward to an in-depth look at Horizon as well.
