Wasn’t there a show game crossover before? I think Defiance? Or something like that, all I know is the show lasted longer than I thought it would and it out did the game.
I would give most anything to sit in a room with him for an hour and listen to his ideas for games and stuff. He has a genius for the craft to be sure.
For goodness sakes, 2018 is shaping up to be the greatest year for games this Generation and this numpty decided it would be a good year to get married, maybe I can blag this one to my soon to be....
Here’s a thought, why not focuse on PSX and as for us Europeans and giving us some attention, host it in Europe, that way the Americans have E3 and Gamescom, an we get PSX, or Just switch it up and host PSX in EU/UK and US switching between, given how PSX is aimed at fans and meet ups it seems more fair to host it across both regions.
Rjejr I've been able to purchase anything under £5 since the launch of the PS4, I feel for you if you guys are still having to do that, it's one of the things I hated about PSN during the 3's era.
Shame really, would have been cool to have to get some uprgrade or something to stop it hitting, or they could have just had it for normal or hard mode.
After playing the alpha a year or so back I'll definitely be buying this for my partner, she loved it minus the fact that it had next to sod all in it due to it being an early build, I'm sure the finished version is far better.
I absolutely LOVE Uncharted, and I would love for a new entry, however id rather the series end on the high that it has done than be milked to death, though let's face it even if they do milk it, I'll buy it.
@dryrain I agree, don't get me wrong I love having physical still, but objectively looking at this issue says to me that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo really need to go all digital, put in place a service that is both consistently fast and reliable with great deals on, a new game on steam can cost £40 whereas on PSN you're looking at £54.99.
@get2sammyb suppose that's why I'm not running a company lol I'm just hoping we don't lose Japan in its entirety, don't know what I'd do if gaming became more shooters less, well, diverse. There are some amazing games coming from western developers don't get me wrong but the Japanese seem to know how to make messed up (in a good way) games especially in the RPG and Horror Genres.
Sony really need to look at bringing out a decent smartphone/handheld hybrid, (perhaps have the smartphone be, well a smartphone, and have a dock of sorts with R1/2 L1/2 and so fourth that you just clip on when you want to play those awesome PS games) I'm thinking, PlayStation Xperia (I realise their past attempt at phone gaming was poor but with some real dedication I think they could dominate Japan)
I've finished the game, got my platinum, have The Last Gaurdian waiting to be played yet I'm STILL on this bloody thing, have enjoyed it a great deal, the story is lacklustre compared to many other games though it's the dungeons and hunts that have actually kept me on it so money's worth, would wish they'd swap the Jump and interact buttons around though, I've spent about half the game jumping when trying to pick something up lol
Don't get me wrong, I LOVED this series as a weeun, but I'm not entirely sure there is a market for it anymore, then again, maybe that's because so few titles like this are out and the market will emerge once we get some freshness in.
Since starting to go through all the old animes I loved as a kid with English sub (so to get the ACTUAL story as it was intended) I may give this a whirl with Japenese on, all I hear from people is that it's the best way to play the games. Who knows.
Barley a whimper? Every other advert has been about it coming lol, I'm trying desperately to play through the first one, I tried at release and found it boring, tried a year back, boring, but my uncle really loved it as did everyone else I'd spoke too, since my uncle passed last week I'd figure I'd give it another whirl as he always said it was one of his favourites. Still not into it but more so than I was before.
If this is actually from Hello Games then they NEED to get over themselves, they made many mistakes, but now is the time to rectify those mistakes, bring out expansions add what was promised include new mechanics and the such bring it back to what was imagined by the Devs initially.
Oh man I'd buy a pretty penny for one of those purely from a nostalgic point (yes, I'm on of those people) I remember most of mine as a kid got cracked mainly due to my sister, it got to the point were I'd actually crack it myself so it "fit in" with the rest of the collection. Kids do the damndest things sometimes 😝
Took me roughly 2 hours, I was expecting a horror game going buy the picture, never read the description just had some money too burn and though sod it why not, was pleasantly surprised by it, quite the gripping story and interesting experience all round.
I stream everything so I have no interest in the 4K BR, I'd much prefer a £349 console without one. I think a lot of the outrage is unwarranted, as sammy said it would be nice for it too have one, but how many people actually use it? One time twice? The disks are super expensive I can't see a massive market in it.
I think in cases like No mans Sky where the trailers shown are vastly different from what we got, or features that were said to be in it actually arnt then yes, a refund should be given, however, if you buy a game you need to make sure it's something your into, for instance if a game advertises a game as being one thing and the game turns out to be exactly what they said you just don't like it, then no, you shouldn't get a refund, I bought a game called dangerous golf, I, after looking through the screenshots thought I would like it, I didn't, that doesn't mean I'm "entitled" to a refund in any way shape or form, if you go to the movies and don't like what you've seen, you don't get a refund why the hell should gamers in the same boat get one, like I say, if it is advertised as game A but releases as game B then definitely yes but not liking it? Hell no. The nanny state needs to end. Take some responsibility.
@get2sammyb I dunno, I've always liked the slim variants more with exception to the PS3s Super Slim, I mean given the size of this and the amount of genius required to get it that tiny I certainly can look past the curves, though I am concerned with the heating, I mean my one gets really hot in the incredible form factor it's currently God, lord knows what this would be like.
Looks like one of those POP station knockoffs, I'd be shocked if this was Sonys final design, I've always attributed a sort of class with their products, something this is lacking.
@Ralizah I love Japanese developers, more off them appear to put some actual time love and care into their product, heck quite a few don't require patches, as for western developers, I've noticed some can get quite sloppy and before you know a year has passed, 8-10 patches have been applied and the game MAY work to a reasonable standard.
I had 8 crashes in a row last night, I believe it was due to the planet I was on, once I decided to leave the planet I was free from the crashes, I used too get three in a row so I was mighty peed off with it last night, still, least the planet I was on wasn't that interesting so I didn't miss out on much.
This is why I love Sony though, sure there has definitely been questionable titles that I've not liked and thought were terrible (subjectively of course) but I've had a blast most of the time, I've always seen Sony as the all in one company, a healthy mixture of genres and experiences, Microsoft as a online juggernaught focusing mostly on multiplayer experiences and Nintendo as a, well, Mario console (which isn't bad) except their handhelds I've always seen as a JRPG haven which I love. I honestly feel Sony have the best approach but that's because I'm into trying all sorts of wacky and outlandish games as well as story driven experiences.
@ApostateMage I've literally just installed it, turned it on, and as the game was loading (the screen saver with all the stars in it) it crashed, however, that appears to have been the only time thus far so if it hasn't got rid of them entirely it's improved it by far, I used to get three in a row.
