Re: Naughty Dog Boss Neil Druckmann Doesn't Want to Make Games Forever

TLoU is one of my favorite story and character driven games I've ever play and many times too. I also completed Part 2 at launch and the remake recently. I don't agree with the political biases or agenda at NaughtyDog but I don't let that get in the way of playing a masterful work of art. I wish Joel's story was different but it's not. Is part 2 a bad game? Not in the slightest. Experiencing Part 2 the second time around was much better especially with the developer commentary on, really took my time and absorbed the story. What ppl don't realize is Druckmann is responsible for creating a new monster creature brand, while pushing women to the front of portraying the protagonist and antagonist. Reminds me a lot of Ridley Scott with ALIEN, ALIENS and Sigorney Weaver vs the Queen "female" xenomorph so with that said we should expect TLoU to be around a long time.

$550.00+tax USD for a console locked and wired VR device with limited support and outlook. Plus other newer VR headsets on the horizon. People that are going to buy PSVR2 already have and at this point it needs to be sold at >$300.

I've been mostly a digital consumer since 2009. I've always disliked the space taking clutter of cases and the worry over disc scratch, crack, and loss. Ppl have always said the same thing, "...but you don't own the games..." but I still have access. I don't care about trade in either bc for the last 10 years most games are purchased on sale and rarely at launch.

Re: E3 Killed Itself, Says Summer Game Fest's Geoff Keighley

The gaming consumer watching at home killed E3! Online commentary on social media ridiculing every word and announcement over the years turned devs away from presenting and eventually attending. Think about all the times ppl dumped on moments that were meant to shine. I feel like the last straw for SONY was when NaughtyDog did a huge TheLastOfUs Part2 showcase and it got (undeservingly) nothing but hate. And they never did anything that grand again at E3.
