The PS5 (left one) is misleading at best

Hopefully 2028 at the latest. RAM is not getting cheaper anytime soon as demand will continue to ramp. The issue Sony has is that they need to design for a release window, if they push it then the tech may appear outdated upon launch. The good news in a delay is that we will see the PS5 pushed to its limit, it’s a while since developers have had to do this.

Very fond memories of JSR on the Dreamcast, a lot of fun.

There is no substitute for WipeOut. It’s either WipeOut or it’s not. For the love of god Sony get it done!

Loved the demo and insta pre-bought the game cannot wait for it to arrive and I can continue on the journey.

Real issue as delaying it means it comes out underpowered as time and tech moves on. SONY have to lock the design in advance, hopefully the wait will not be to long.

Graphics have not peaked, you see this same statement each generation, yes the possibilities get shrunk with each generation, but there is still plenty headroom. Come back and read this thread in 6 years and see.

8 was basically perfect and VR mode really is something else. If Capcom can top that in any way this will be very special indeed.

Really not sure this needs a remake it still stands up today, and unless they change the story up existing players will have little interest, better to concentrate their efforts on a sequel.
