Only game I've played from Ps plus was Belatro. Terrible year compared to previous. The service is in steady decline and needs some rethinking, I only use it for some minor online play and cloud saves. Definitely not worth the money.

I'll get round to D2 when I'm caught up with my back catalogue and it comes down in price. For £25 The Alters was a great 30 hour experience. Good mix of resource and character management with an interesting story to tell.

Immediately shot to the top of my most wanted. On book 8 of 9 of the series now and it has so much potential. Sounds like one of the best developers for something like this.

Kingdom come deliverance II for me and it's not close this year. Death stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei have a lot of work to do to knock it off. Expedition 33 is not for me but it sounds worthy in its own right. The Alters is currently sitting up there for me, finding it oddly compelling and I think Hell Is Us could be a dark horse.

I don't know why it keeps getting missed by Push Square but Age of Empires 2 comes out next week for £30, last time I played it was on PS2. Can't wait.

As a driving game fan I was disappointed missing out on FH4. This one just doesn't appeal.

BG3 and KCD2 have been two great RPGs releases in a great state on console. I wish more developers took their time and released them so polished. I think I had a few FPS drops in act 3 for BG3 doing a few fights in the city. KCD2 I think Pebbles spawned up some stairs once and some lighting issues at night. Hardly anything compared to CP2077 which crashed constantly, though I still loved it on release. Just wish I had time these days to put in the hours they really require to see everything, especially BG3 that needs multiple runs.

Nice that it seems polished. Hopefully we get a release date for AoE 2 and the same treatment.

I want Age of Empires 2 and Stalker 2. Both have been heavily rumoured but no solid release date yet. Kingdom come 2 will likely be my only major purchase this year. Not much else keeping me away from my backlog.

I will be playing endless amounts of regicide games like I did in my youth. Awesome news.

I had over 40gb of photos and video content for the original on PS4 another large chunk for PS5 version which I've been holding off. Hate to think what might happen here. Most beautiful game world I've ever played, so many varied biomes.

I had a bug where as dressed as Wander the cape got stuck on something and rubber banded across the whole level. Only thing I've encountered getting to 100%. Great game, makes me want to replay a load of PS games.

I just want news of a Shadow of Doubt release date. The notifications keep coming in on my PS5 that it's coming soon. My most anticipated game this year.

Astrobot, Kingdom Come 2, Warhammer 40K, Bloodlines 2 and Shadows of Doubt. Definitely interested in Life is Strange, depending they respect the source material, looking at the rest of Ubisofts output, respect isn't in their repertoire. The Thaumaturge looks really interesting.

I'll be sticking with Ghost of Tsushima which respects the culture of Japan. I was watching the gameplay trailer which was underwhelming and my wife spat out her tea when she walked in and the hip hop soundtrack kicked in at the boss fight. I don't know what they were thinking...

One indie I really want to see more of, including release date and price is Shadow of Doubt. Miss having a solid immersive Sims and love a detective game. Hopefully this one does it right.

As immersive Sims go it's one of the best. So underrated that most will just ignore it. Loved listening to Benedict Wong on comms and it's the only thing to come close to the original Deus Ex.

@DennisReynolds they can market it "Hellblade returns home" when it comes out on PS5 or "From the Studio that got away".

I'm due to get back to this and complete the game again with the expansion on PS5. Been putting it off as that means it's over. Same with Echoes of the Eye, Outer Wilds. Can't bare playing the game and knowing everything. If there was a way to get voluntary memento syndrome.

I checked out the Twitter and all the games there are either PS5 or have a PS5 patch, which Bloodborne doesn't. I'm up for the campaign to get that at least done, maybe as a reward for us interacting. Bloodborne 60fps come on!

I wish they had gone through with the original lawsuit so we knew more of what happened. So much he said she said it's hard to get through the mud to get to the truth of it all. I would have least hoped the ending might have the creator throw a cream pie in court, run for the door flipping everyone off and then break his collar bone on the frame.

Heart goes out to those made redundant after being part of something that means a lot to the fans. Hope they land on their feet and get another shot at it.

I'd definitely pick up a few Xbox games in a sale, Forza Horizon, Flight SIM, Starfield, Elder Scrolls, Hellblade and Avowed.

But only one game that's a must for me which has me working out if I can upgrade my PC or buy a Xbox, STALKER 2. Played the original 3 to death, with and without mods and nothing has ever captured that magic since. If that comes to PS5 I'd be a happy boy.

Back catalogue gets greater every year and 2023 has been great so not in a rush for anything other than the top 2.

BG3 deservedly will get it and I do love it but Alan Wake is my personal GOTY.

I was all Baldur's Gate 3 and I think it will still win but for me Alan Wake 2. I'll be replaying both for a long time.

ACG gaming podcast kinda slammed it. Definitely said it was a premium product which was light and felt great it just doesn't do what it should. Really the main unbiased opinion around that I trust and this product isn't for me as I have access to a TV.

Like a favorite movie, I will definitely dip back into it now and again. Going back into Control because of it and then maybe back again to Alan Wake. It's a loop... No wait it's a ....

Still hate my most played game is is Warzone during lockdown but Verdansk was the only way to see my friends. Good but bleak times.

Alan Wake 2 is also out soon at a much more reasonable £50 so probably going to pick that up. Got to reward fair price points.

Hogwarts was finally on sale at an acceptable price so going through that currently while also playing Baldur's Gate. Still gotta wait for God of War Ragnarok to be a normal price before I purchase it. Going to be a long time until I play this I think.

Love after puddlegate and idiots decrying a downgrade, digital foundry on release claimed the opposite saying the games cloth and texture work had increased in quality, and the puddle has just been moved.

@drd7of14 I was thinking this. Uncharted 4 definitely doesn't have one and though Lost Legacy looks like it would make a excellent co-op game you can only play as Chloe... Also Ghost of Tsushima Legacy is a separate beast to the main game which is single player. Definitely needs some vetting.

I've been playing since early access on PS5 and have nearly 50 hours under my belt in Act 1. The game is everything I've ever wanted from a CRPG. I loved Dragons Age Origins but we're put off by the sequels. I've dipped in for Disco Elysium because it was doing something completely different but this has me sold so will definitely be going back to the Divinity Series and during the hype I tried Wastelands 3 as it was on sale for £10 and I'm back in love with the genre.

Larian are one of the few developers out there that deserve a day one purchase. Most don't especially for £70. They're showing constant support even past release and a willingness to listen to what fans want. In the nearly 50 hours of play I have there has only been one glitch when an enemy clipped through a wall. Other than that the game is extremely polished.

For people nervous about later Act 3 performance Digital Foundry has already released their video about it and I'm hoping it gets patched by the time I get there but at this rate it's going to take me a while so will have to wait and see as I'm not rushing through this one.
