Re: The Thing: Remastered Is Out Now on PS5, PS4

Core, and unfortunate, memory specific to the PS2 version of this game:

I rented this from Hollywood Video - yes, rented - based off of stellar reviews. This was one of those PS2 games that had the blue back (remember that?). This game is how I found out my original fat PS2 was broken: it wouldn't play the game because of the blue back. Played other games fine, though.

Agree if you're completely new to these games that 4 is the way to go. Tight gameplay and they made the RPG elements more introductory than the older games.

I really want to go and play Fallout 2 since there are lore ties between that game and New Vegas.

I'm confused.

The article headline tells you EXACTLY what this article is about. If you're that bothered by it, don't click on the article and read it. Some of you WANT to be bothered by things, it seems.

This card could be useful to someone, say, wanting to purchase a PS5 with accessories and games. Easily over the $600 threshold and they'd get the top-tier PS Plus for free. It isn't PushSquare's responsibility to school people on their personal economics any more than it is the government's job to tell you what you should and shouldn't shove in your mouth.

Be responsible for yourselves.

I was one of the morons who bought this at launch and tried to play it 2 or 3 times. The menus and perk systems were just a little much for me. Didn't make it past the first hour until the 2.0 update. Really digging the game. Wasn't planning on getting Phantom Liberty but I think I'm gonna pick it up now.

Say what you want about the launch of the game, but at least CDPR has really hammered away and made this game very good.

Re: Like a Dragon Gaiden Story Details Have Us Drooling Over Another Deadly Drama

@Porco Assuming that Gaiden leaves off straight away from part 6 - which had a brand new locale/map for the series - I would think that a new/updated map is in the works.

And IMO, even with the locales being reused a bit, the series never got stale for me. I played every entry within a year and didn't get burned out which was surprising for me; however, I don't remember a ton of the plot points from games 3 - 5 lol.
