That's also why they are ditching physical games : they do not make any sense with this new strategy. Solo games are dead.

@KawakiisaFraud The company that released games in the likes of Bloodborne is not there anymore. They are incapable of releasing such games nowadays. Too busy chasing the live service trend and using their studios in the worst way possible.

• Being able to not play your games anymore once Sony decide they expired ?

The normies will sure continue to play this. That's why GTA VI wil sell huge numbers on PS5, despite going full digital. But the Sony of old is long gone now. What remains is a corpse too busy creating the next Concord.

And I sure hope people are not gonna let this one slide. Death of physical media is death of an important part of video games, for quite a lot of us.

The end of an era. That's quite astonishing.

I hope Nintendo will continue to publish all of its games on physical media. If not, that will definitely change the way I play. I'm not sure I will continue to play videogames, except for a few exceptions. Collecting those games is part of the charm. It's been there since the first video game console.
