I don't think I've ever played a Bethesda game, so not too fussed about the Xbox thing. I do get the size of the brand's they have though, do I get why some will miss these on Sony consoles going forward

@Haruki_NLI I guess the risk would be players uploading to the cloud/ps plus. However, having the save file on their servers, would totally work.

@GKT how is it? I've never played the game FYI, coz I ain't into the genre. Don't like the genre, don't play the game. Unsure where the issue lies with people. It's like playing a RPG but hating on the role playing element.

@RBMango there's no flaw in the design. Its a roguelike. See below, specifically the last part.

@RBMango they made the game how they intended to make it. If you can't fit it into your life, it ain't intended for you. If you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing nobody.

@JAMes-BroWWWn I don't think it is. They have no reason to drop prices for ps5 exclusive games just yet unless they need the sales. Ps5 exclusives are few and far between 6 months in.

Yeah don't think this is Sony's answer to game pass. Actually, I don't think they can answer, hence this alternate direction.

is there a page for all ps plus titles released by year? i try the 2020 link when searching, but it auto reverts to 2021 releases..... i could try elsewhere on the internet of course, but that would be effort wouldnt it?

@__jamiie pop I am. Never played a Bethesda game. So yes, I will miss a grand total of none of them. I do get the importance of these titles being taken from the PlayStation library though.

@nessisonett they're copying the same path as Rocket League and Fall Guys, both successful games partly due to PS Plus. I also think this would have flopped if realised as originally stated, but only due to the lack of player base on a new console who would purchase out right. Correct decision by whoever made it, whether successful or not.

@PixelRunner very true, more could be done by the companies that sell them. I personally had a very good experience via Curry's in the UK when paying for the PS5. GAME was a shambles I hear from my godson. To UKers though, nothing is surprising with Mike Ashley owning the place. Money 1st, Morals a clear last place

@PixelRunner too many reasons to list why that just wouldn't work.
Everyone else, easiest thing to do is do not buy from eBay etc etc but people will coz theres demand and the scalpers have the supply. They do it to make a living like all of us and, whilst it is shady, it is not illegal. Like all businesses you buy low, sell high to the next, so on and so forth. They've just added themselves into the ladder.

@zupertramp I remember my rich/lucky uncle in the 90s buying a DVD player when they first came out. Cost a fortune. We didn't have one. 6 months later, every shop is full of them at half the price, half the size etc etc. Without scalpers, there would still be the overall majority of people without the PS5. So many whine and moan. Yet remove the issues placed in front of them, their 'anger' would be aimed elsewhere instead.

@zupertramp I have the PS5 but would still see this the same way. Ive missed out on stuff before, most recently the switch during lockdown when supply couldn't keep up with demand. I didn't pay the extortionate prices on eBay etc, but other people still did. Again, where there is supply there is demand. I know this isn't the same but it's a very close example.

@MemSec 100% agree with you. There were never enough consoles produced to meet demand. The issue lies solely with the people buying them though.

@MemSec @Gilvin if it's illegal in their residence, 100% shouldn't be happening. And yes the morality of it is borderline. I'm just offering an alternative view to things and how it's no different to everything around us. Where there is supply and demand, money is there to be made.

@Killerlightning I have better things to do than that. Seems you have sourgrapes about it though. Those trainers you wear, cost a tiny amount to make compared to what you paid. What's the difference? People have identified a money making opportunity that's legal. No issue there in my eyes, though I wouldn't do it personally.

Is it just me that doesn't care about this and sees this as perfectly fine? This is how everything in shops is sold. Product made for a fraction of the cost of what wholesalers pay. Wholesalers sell to shops for a profit. Shops sell to the common man for a further profit. This is just an opportunity to make money that people have took advantage of.

As a UK gamer, the only benefit to getting the console a week later is that all these games will have a week's worth of playing and reviews. I'll be sure to sift through those reviews during that week gap and avoid any duds.
If I was to choose now based on 'hype' -
Spider-Man MM and Sackboy come to mind.
Will wait for Watchdogs to go on sale in a few years like I have the past 2 games
