I played through five chapters of the Until Dawn Remake on the Portal, certainly enjoying the overhaul this got compared to the original.

I’m not familiar with the content against the game but having games since the 90’s I tend to just play games I want to play I’ve never had any interest in controversy my issue is I can’t clear my bag log to get to playing it

I purchased mine on a bit of a whim back in summer and maybe I missed out on a lot of teething issues from launch but as of now I play on this thing so much in fact most third party games I used to get on switch I pick up on PS5 as the experience on my portal is pretty flawless. I just hope Sony keep it supported

I got mine back in June fairly cheap on a market place, to be honest it’s been great. If the other half is watching TV or my little girl decides she wants the Switch docked I just sit and play on the Portal, it’s a device I probably didn’t need but now I have it I wouldn’t be without it.

I hope thinks true, I enjoy the portal a lot despite initial worries it runs flawlessly at home. I do feel being able to play my library would make PlayStation Plus Premium more compelling

I fe like these hand helds are trying to achieve something that just isn’t cost effective and viable. I personally don’t see the value in what you get out of them vs the cost, Steam Deck hit the mark but if your after raw power these are not the answer

I see it and I understand the reference in design, but this is as lazy as it gets don’t get me wrong I love a special edition controller when done right but you have to be a bit of a mug to buy a white controller with an stripe on it surely?

I missed the first controller but In my opinion the simple change here makes it look much better

I never finished the original PC release or the Xbox One version…now’s the time, Plaued about half of 2, half of 5 and to be fair only completed 4 which I loved despite the hate.

If I had all the 10p coins I’d pumped into this back in the day I’d probably be able to buy the collectors edition.

Makes my 8Bitdo Arcade Stick look like a fisher price toy, that’s pretty sleek I like it, totally agree on the comment above about styling this generation PlayStation 4 sucked in this department

I have the rest on Switch it’s my go to platform for this series can’t way to play this

Based on actual remastering from the original source Resident Evil 4 for me, I like The Last Of Us Part 2 but it hardly needed any attention.

I'm sure I've said this before but I decided to test Microsoft out for this generation moving from my PlayStation 4 Pro to a Series X I've never been so disappointed. How they can charge more for that door stop is beyond me, sold it on and still use my PlayStation 4 Pro only thing I miss is the load times.

I guess it depends how much you feel the games are worth I remember importing Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting for the SNES from the states ans it cost me over £60 and that was circa 1992 which was crazy compared to local PAL games but I had no regrets I played the heck out of that game with my mates for ages saved me tons of 10p coins at the arcade lol as much as I don’t like prices if I want something enough I get it otherwise I pass

To be fair I played this on Series X and somehow managed to not even get of the runway and stuck in a building…decided driving games were more my thing

@Sergo I recall a comment from Digital Foundray where it was suggested that in some cases the hardware is making up for faults in the software which is not a good thing and I totally think this hits the nail on the head. This console was totally unnecessary and the likes of PSSR is awesome but they could have just held of and put this in the PlayStation 6 either way we have it now and it is what it is.

I'm in my mid 40's I have a family these days and my backlog goes back to when the PlayStation 4 released so I'm never in a rush if at all. I feel for the people who have to have thing's day one and even rate online retailers based on their ability to do so but for me whenever is it's cheap is fine for me.

@Mikey856 I used to buy only physical but as time has moved on with the exception of the games I truly care about I now buy all of the rest digital, I used to have over 100 PS4 games I now have 8 and that's totally fine, the fact they are pointing it at people like me is absurd and the fact that some people hate on someone else because their habits are different is also absurd. We are all different and have different lifestyles and needs.

As much as it pains me to say this as mentioned by the developer thankfully no players personal information was taken that is at least something.

@Eleventy8 I haven't purchased a PS5 yet but I know from owning a Series X and Series S both are whisper quiet apart from Gears 5 on Series S did get mildly audible but then again I' still have a PS4 Pro that drowns out everything lol

Having binned of my Xbox Series X as it was just a fancy door stop that plays Halo I'm back on my PlayStation 4 Pro looking to upgrade.

I really like the Pro and I appreciate the tech that's gone into it but economically I feel the Standard Slim will be enough for me

@SystemAddict I just took an educated guess from previous, Smyths, Amazon, Game and Very tend to be a good bet

@johncalmc I ended up doing it by purchasing one through Amazon and one through Smyths, by the time I got to my turn in the queue on the Sony site it never refreshed for me

Not sure if anyone else had this but I reached my turn in the queue and the page crashed out, thankfully I'm not to fussed.

@CrashBandicoat I agree, I really want a Pro but I can't justify outlaying that much money on a console even if I had the money available so anyone paying for scalped prices on the limited edition ones are just nuts

If i remember the Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 I’m sure half of it was unavailable at the point of going live and my browser refreshing the page I suspect the same will happen again

@Nakatomi_Uk I mean that hits the nail on the head it gets mentioned a lot but these companies don’t actually really care or do anything for us despite what they say it’s just about the numbers

I would like one of these but it's clearly not worth the hassle. I remember snagging a 500 Million Edition PS4 Pro from Smyths when they came out after querying them the store only received two units they should just knock these out as an additional model and be done with it so everyone can have one. As always just giving the scalpers something to milk morons over.

I bought my first Xbox around two years ago for a change of scene but this company is an absolute shambles, all these idiot bigwigs who don't know how to steer the ship. I think this is the tipping point for me to sell my Series X and move back to PlayStation I wish I hadn't purchased nearly 300 digital games for it...going to be hard leaving that behind

The people in the countries that can't buy it because they've been boxed into a situation where it's not possible are the ones I feel sorry for...bravo Sony...Bravo!

I have to admit it seemed like the disc edition plates went first I didn’t even see them appear in stock

@AndyKazama I bought it to go with the console for coop games I just like matching things, but your right there will be eBay listings soon enough

Console and controller ordered, can finally sell on my 500 Million Edition, it's certainly served me well over the last 5 years that's for sure but I won't miss that Jet Engine sound.

After moving to Xbox for the current generation this alone makes me want to do a u-turn, heck I might just buy the controller anyway it's so cool

It's always good news but I still miss Killzone, I can keep dreaming.

I picked this up after reading plenty on the internet I probably shouldn't but went in with an open mind and I was hooked, I always think story narrative direction won't agree with everyone but for me it's been a blast even after enjoying the first so much.
