you definitivelly can hack this to run retro games, maybe storage isnt so large but that's definitivelly something that can be modified.
I cant see why this wouldnt be a thing.

Only reason why i could be looking forward to this is when folks innevitably hack it and turn it into a portable retro machine

I do not emulate anything that I own. and neither does 99% of people who use emulation.
I do however support emulation because i assure you that the creators of the games we emulate would love to have them running as well as you possibly could.
I assure you that Kojima would love to have these games running on modern hardware in their best form possible.
to release an unmodified port with little to no attention paid to in the matter of performance is a corpo decision.

I cant say I care too much about the resolution.
The bluepoint remake runs super well and to be honest, I'm a sucker for mgs so I'll buy it either way.
what is a shame, however, is that mgs works well because of the analog face buttons on the ps2 and ps3.
for now the best way to play these game is (somehow) still with a ps3.
what I do wonder however is how they'll make MGS4 work for the ps5, we've seen it running in 60 fps in 4k, and its the one game that would make the most sense having an upgrade.

this is an 11 yo game running at 4k, something that has been acomplished quite a while ago.
and while I do think that 60fps is not super necessary for the kind of game that this is, if you're gonna charge 50 bucks, that is the least you should offer.

I mean, when the xbox version is running at 4k 60fps there is no excuse for this to run just like it did on the ps3.
That being said, i would still play this at 30fps 1080p if it were priced accordingly.
50$ is a lot for a simple port and at the very least there really should be an upgrade on the 7th gen version

Its really a shame that square ended up using Vaan as the main protagonist for such stupid reasons.
Not only Ashe would be the better choice as a protag, Vaan would also stand out a LOT more as a side character than he does as the protagonist.

I feel like calling these games "Dark souls with guns" does it a bit of disservice. appart from the checkpoint system and how consumables work, its pretty much nothing like the souls games.

i wish we had gotten the original MW3's campaign remastered like they did for the first to MW games. Sure its not as good as the other two titles but finish what you started, activision. Maybe throw in Black Ops 1+2 remastered as well.

I mean, i thought these games were made to be played online. its not something like left 4 dead where you have AI companions. you either play with other people or you have an objectivelly worse experience.
its different from Diablo 4, another always online game but the game was designed to be played solo but you still get server lag.

why would you want that? its not even the best NFS game of that era.
Hot pursuit is the better one and they already remastered it

I'm gonna spoil it for yall right now, its gonna suck, or at the very least it wont be nearly as good as the original, a remaster would be better since they cannot ever remake how much of a banger this game was. I quite like the last NFS games but the vibe and feel of the original most wanted cannot ever be replicated.

In fairness this is part of the game, the moment you select Hardcore mode you are welcoming this type of stuff lol. I sodding hate blizzard as of late and they made some ***** decisions with this game, but by god i love it so much.

Awesome month, already own cod and AW, but Endling looks fantastic.
People should really give this COD a shot, I know that its the franchise people think (unfairly) its cool to ***** on, but most of the games are decent and Cold War specifically is REALLY GOOD.
Campaign is short, less than 6 hours, but super cool and unique, and zombies mode is surprisingly fun. Yall should really give this one a shot.

I already have killing floor 2 so thats why I didnt vote it, but its probably the best game on this list to be perfectly honest

Because of the planes?... I mean sure but thats more like a single ml than an ounce. Ace combat has its own vibe and its nothing like this.

Either way, i wish Rockstar had done Single Player DLC for GTA V, the online stuff is really boring early on and even if the DLCs are good, I really cant care for it at all. This is a 9 year old game now (if you dont count the ps3 and 360 versions who dont get any new content) , it being supported this long is appreciated but it's time to move on.

Biggest reason why this is a shame is because what I trully want is a Warrior Within Remake

It really pained me not to pick the ps3 one.
Ps1 intro is an absolute masterpiece but i get shivers with the ps3 startup, like an orchestra tuning its instruments before playing a symphony of every feeling known to man, every game. Like what you're about to experience is a work of art.
So while I think the ps1 start up is perfect, 3 is really a fantastic and unique experience.

It was a bad decision when xbox did it, why do they think it would work for Mortal Kombat?

I honestly already owned most of the games in the collection but it allowed me to play infamous second son for the first time and you really couldnt go wrong with any of the games on the collection.
Special Shout out to Bloodborne, RE7, God of War and Days Gone.

The other pixel ripped games are dope. dont have a psvr2 yet but I'll definitivelly check this out whenever I do.

As someone who pays for premium, I have to say, Extra is the best tier you can sub to. I like having ps1 and psp games but the quality and quantity of those games being added to premium is not enough to justify its bump in price over extra.
but as it stands, if you just got a playstation console for the first time, this service is a steal, so many games avaliable, if you pay for a year's subscripion on the extra tier you will never run out of games to play.

I bet that ATM can run ps2 games better than the ps5.

Spiderman is the ps4 version, which never got patched to run at 60fps iirc.
Imo the biggest losses here are the metro games and resident evil, but already own those normally.

I mean, its obvious whats going on here but lets not pretend that this isnt a great month.
I own most of these, and at least in my point of view, that means that these games are worth spending your money on, if you never played these games, or just got a ps5, ps+extra is worth a whole year's subscription based on this month alone.

Hopefully Media Molecule can work on a real game now
