This is definitelly TES coded, from armor, monsters, animals, what seems like draugr, even the Eldrich being in the middle reminds me of the daedric princes.
Now if its something like Morrowind Remastered, TESO or TESIV is an entirely different convo.

@dodgykebaab well, none I guess, simply dont buy it then. but really appart from the original ps1 version (which didnt have throphies either) this is the only other legal way to play tekken 3. (maybe the arcade mode in tekken 5 but then again, it is ONLY the arcade mode)

@Oxy you do know that the book comparisson makes no goddamn sense right? a book is a book, you can just read it. you actually need something else to even play whats on the disc unless you really like to read the copyright on the back of the box.
even something like a movie doesnt work as a comparisson because:
a)the size is much smaller
b)you dont need to install the movie from the disc.
Games are simply too big and require much more to run nowadays. Blu Ray discs are nearly 20 years old, its kinda insane we're even shipping any kind of data on them still.

All jokes aside, i get that its crappy that the data isnt on disc.
I also dont think it matters at all, we really are at a point where if you are into videogames in anyway you probably have decent enough internet to download the data faster than the console can even copy it from the actual disc.
As much as I actually love collecting physical stuff (and I very much do) physical media really is so obsolete that having a box and a disc on your sheld really is the sole reason for not buying it digitally.

Honestly I'm just glad to have these games playable on modern playstation. Namco in particular has so many games I want to see ported, SPECIALLY Ace Combat (maybe we get a real port of 3, please?), but also the rest of the tekken games, time crisis, and hell maybe even Dead to Righs.

Honestly I dont have the time or money to play a fraction of the games that came out september, and so many ***** has come out its honestly impressive.

I was going to play hollow Knight silk song at launch but Sony decided that the Brazilian price for the game would be twice as much as any other platform so now I am waiting for a price drop.

Would be worth upgrading tho, but since I owned these on ps3 I'm expecting to get them for free as they roll out.

@twitchtvpat I'm right there with you thinking it will never happen. which makes it even more of a bummer. Hoping to be able to get another ps3 soon since mine's in the sh**ter and I'm definitelly jailbreaking it so it can live forever.

This game looks more like a spiritual sequel to Metal Gear Rising than a sequel to Ninja gaiden. I'm really excited.

I agree but also think that osny should really get their ***** together when it comes to ps3 emulation on modern consoles, there is a LOT of stuff that will simply be lost forever once the store shuts down for good.

I mean, this is the same studio that did Remnant and that game is AWESOME. I played it in its entirely by myself but you can also Play it MP, same as this. I have full confidence Gunfire games will deliver something great.

@Anya-chan Armor king is the kind of character they really should just have in the base game from the get go at this point.
They really wanna charge us again for the same character we've been playing for the last 30 years in almost every tekken game.

They already did multiplayer with Darksiders Genesis.
Please understand that MP isnt the same as GaaS.
Hell a few of my favorite games ever have MP modes if not made entirely with MP in mind, like Left 4 Dead, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (the original), Diablo 2.
Hell even diablo 4, which has some pretty abusive MTX and has a beeg focus on being a live service, actually has a fantastic campaign that can be played entirely on single player, same goes for the late game content.
Lets just see the actual game before we cuss at the people making the games we love, why dont we?

DarkSiders Genesis was legit amazing, if they can pull off how coop works there but with 4 players I have no fear whatsoever.

@mlm043 im not lying. But for context I didn't like horizon too much. I found it very boring. I did beat it tho. LoM looks more focused on different gameplay aspects, which did seem very fun, specially the bossfights.

Shame, It looks more fun than horizon.

I have not ever seen any of the art made by the person who submited the AI entry, however if they honestly thought "this is better than what i can do" their art is definitelly not good, because that AI slop they put out is baaaaad, goes agains many design philosofies and its very inconsistent with its own style.
Shapes lose form, lines bend without any sort of reason, sudden straight lines appearing in curved shapes.
At a glance is fine but when you actually look at it for more than a few seconds it really looks bad.
If this is better than what the artist can do, its a bad artist.

If insomniac were any indication of an announcement we would have gotten resistance ages ago. every once in a while they post about the game and it is STILL stranded on ps3 with no hopes of seeing the light of day.

Here in Brazil the average minimum wage is $265
I dont blame Sony at all for the price hike, and while there is an argument to games selling more if you price it according to the local economy, its definitelly our local economy and government that suck balls.
Yes games are a comodity and should not be treated as essential products, but when a single game costs 30% of your income, no one wins.

Count me in the 62% that only has essential.
Had premium but downgraded to Essential since I realized that:
A) I dont care much about the games in the extra tier.
B) The games added to premium are really mid, Sony has a fantastic catalog they simple are not putting in the premium tier
C)The few games from Premium I care about I either already owned on ps3 or dont care to buy a la carte.

SH2 remake was really good, a weird case of a game not replacing the original but also not being redundant.
I really hope they can get the vibes of SH1 right, which is really hard as I feel like the dated graphics really do work in favor of the horror element.

@nessisonett hate to say it but the ps2 version of halflife is lowkey better than the original in some aspects.
At the very least it is a VERY good port

No disrispect to the Voice Actress, but chie is easily one of the most annoying characters in any videogame ever and its like 80% because of the voice acting, so I'm not too bummed about that.
I love Yuri Lowenthal in pretty much everything he does so that one makes me sad.

Really hope this has M&K support on console.
I'm not really a pc player and in general I rather play most of everything on console, its why I never invested on a propper gaming PC, but once in a while something like this comes out and really makes me wish I could play it with a mouse instead of a controller.
should be fine tho, If I can handle ghostrunner and doom eternal's dlc this should work either way

I learned to ignore the "this is the worst month ever" coments because people will usually just complain for just about anything.
But this month they are specially stupid. I mean, its outrageous that theres only one game for premium this month (which I do agree is a waste of money, specially in countries that do not have the option to stream games) but Extra tier is superb this month. (and I say this as someone who only has essential since i straigh up buy most of my games)
Sand Land is great, Humanity is a banger, BFV is the best WWII MP game ever made (with a pretty good SP campaign), Soul Hackers 2 is a great RPG and Granblue is an Arc game, which just means that its a VERY solid fighter.

But most of all.
Legends of the Zone trilogy is worth the entry price by itself, holy ***** what a fantastic trilogy, my GOTY of last year for sure. if you are complaining about this you really have no taste in games.

Maybe its simply because I'm from Brazil but usually even used ps5 games wont ever go below R$120,00 and even getting that low is quite rare.
Digitally however i get much better discounts on the ps store, sometimes games get a full 80% discount or even more and end up getting a AAA game for around R$20,00 which is CRAAAZY.
However I still think this lawsuit is ***** insane. Imagine being sued for having a monopoly on your own store. literally makes no ***** sense.

also, ps4 pro is over eight years old now.
I trully expect the switch successor to be AT LEAST as powerfull, I know that nintendo is doing its own thing and power isnt really a focus, but come one, we live in a time where you can play modern AAA games like re4 remake on your phone. Nintendo needs to put some oompf behind this thing if it wants it to compete in anyway in the third party market, specially with sony's and MS's portable devvices on the horizon.

you know, shout out for that slick 500 mil edition controller on the banner, got that one alongside the ps4 pro in 2018 and its still my favorite controller ever.

Honestly for me this takes the cake for the best psOne game ever.

so you expect that something like the ps5 pro, not a necessity, not the base device, pretty much a more powerful boutique item, cost the same as the base model (if you consider inflation people want this thing to be cheaper than a launch ps5).

I'm not saying that $700 or your local equivalent isnt expensive. Hell I'm from Brazil and this will probably cost me far more than any european or australian here.
But people really are complaining that a deluxe item costs a deluxe price.
If PC is that much better go buy that, if you think base ps5 is enough stick to that. If you are complaining about it this thing probably isnt for you in the first place.

Edit: I just want to say, it really is not that bad and it is most likely a fair price, you dont need a stand, stop bitching about that.

Was thinking about getting another ps5 anyway so getting the pro model is just a matter of saving up a bit longer for a better experience.

Yeah, I get that but I still can't see how it would be a scam.
Digital Foundry in their Black Myth video used a RTX 3070 TI gpu as a direct point of comparison for what the ps5 pro would perform like, but thats a $600 graphics card.
People saying that you would be better off buying a computer at that price point are comparing a brand new (admitedly boutique) console to a bunch of used parts and cheap alternatives.
The whole converstation around PS5 is filled with inflamatory miscreants. and thats a shame because there is a legit conversation to be had about the price this thing is being released at.

I dont see how its overpriced.
It's a biiig jump in performance from base ps5 and specially when you consider that if you fix for inflation the $500 launch ps5 would be $620 nowadays, the $700 price point is not that bad.
Yeah the disc drive and base would cost you even more but the majority of gamers buy their games digitally and you dont really need the base at all.
I'm not saying it's not expensive, I just mean that its not a rip off like everyone else is trying to make this sound like.
