I think it would be strange for them to be working in UE5 and Red Engine at the same time. They'd go cross-eyed over there going back and forth.

@Cry_Zero yup. I get that its annoying to lose out on an exclusive every now and then, but who can keep up anyway? I play games for hours every day, unless I am reading, and its not possible to keep up.

I play a lot of sixth and seventh gen and prior, and man do I miss the competition of that era. It's depressing.

Playing through this with my youngest was an absolute treat, and something I know he will always remember.

Play Titanfall 2, if you haven't. Doom 2016, DUSK, Powerslave levels of single-player fps greatness.

@themaladroit any suggestions on not sucking at Risk of Rain 2? I play old-school fps and a lot of twitch-reflex games, but I can't seem to git gud with RoR2. I want to because it feels great. Feel like I am missing something.

Blood: Refreshed Supply, Prime 4, and System Shock 2 remaster. I am very thankful for Nightdive. My youngest is getting really into Turok 2 and Blood because of them, and it is great. I can't wait to see him get into Quake and Doom. Fun stuff.

I would prefer something sci-fi or post-apocalyptic, but I am very happy for Larian. They get to take time and be creative. Probably pretty much with a blank check. It's nice when nice things happen.

I love the series, so Im excited. Playing that first game with those beautiful graphics is going to be a treat.

I might check out Mirage. I dig that it has supernatural abilities. AC would be so much cooler if it dropped historical settings, imo. Irl is dumb.

It looks like the shooting feels good but yeah hero shooter. Its online only, I am sure, and hero shooter "roles" just seem to be like taking a fun arsenal of weapons and abilities and spreading it thin. I like my characters to have more than one weapon and ability, I dunno.

@lazarus11 have you seen the year they had Joe McHale and Loiter Squad? It's impossible to get through.

That TR remake looks gorgeous.

I didnt see Evanescence, but I thought the orchestral stuff was incredible. I honestly thought it was a lot of fun. I am guessing Sandfall has a blank check after doing so well. That's exciting.

The Ascent is awesome so I'm looking forward to this. I thought this was more an immersive sim, but open world rpg is good too.

I figured they were going for something a little more subversive than the third rebrand of Divinity. Especially after saying they wanted to do something new and less restrictive than D&D.
I am sure it will be incredible, I am just burned out on elves and dwarfs and wizards, etc.

I usually can't stand procedural rubbish, but infinite Judy dates would be something I could go for.

That would be swell, but I'd be much more into something sci-fi or post-apocalyptic. Its gotten difficult for me to get down with high fantasy, for whatever reason. Also, with post-apocalyptic, I dont have to deal with people, like, existing at me. Which is nice.

As the biggest fan of handhelds (seriously...it is a problem...), this would be how they get me excited for a new console. I just hope their hubris hasn't rendered them incapable of learning from the PS5. I love my PS5, but they really need to focus more on single-player exclusives and weird stuff from Japan. They are not going to rebrand to this multi-player meta verse of IPs, at least not in my head.

@StitchJones I had to play the HM games and see how they feel before I got into them. Some of my favorites.

@Matthewnh lol, that isn't my complaint, but yeah. I hate the hivemind ai in any stealth game.

I might reinstall to see if it clicks in third-person. I really, really disliked the stealth in the base game. It does the thing where the entire military knows your location as soon as you are spotted.

Brain Damage on Switch has a bug where the character won't stop moving. I just checked last week and its still happening. I really wanted to play that dumb thing too.

@Attheendwearrive that was so tacky. They are better than they've ever been. Blood just came to consoles with 8 player split-screen. What a world.

Prime 4 and Blood are out. I guess other games still exist.
Really though, I am looking forward to this show. Its fun commeting with other people.

I dont care how corporate and awkward it all is, I like game announcements. It reminds me of when things weren't so cynical.

Some Ghost of Tsushima and maybe Link's Awakening DX. Its one of my favorite games, and I dislike the remake, so it should be a comfy time. Maybe some Streets of Rage Remake and Tomb Raider?
