@stvevan I agree with you a 100% I've had my ps5 since a month after launch but alot of people has not this generation just started really since consoles are finally getting in the hands of customers. I don't see this happening but if it did I wouldn't upgrade like I did with the ps4 pro. To hell with spending that kind of money on a generation that's almost out the door and ps6 being right around the corner. To me it's just stupid! When I bought my ps4 pro I thought I'd have it a while before generation ended . WRONG! 2 YEARS

This is a really decent update. I think now that ps5s are now wildly available their wanting to do alot of work to the system interface. I must say the ps5 interface is clean and fast compared to the Xbox interface that is clunky and full of adds.

@burning_as_souls I agree 100% it can't be universe ending in every plot that kind of plot shouldn't have even in game into play until the last year of wrap up on the whole destiny trilogy. You would think with a whole universe their could be other foes and made up planets besides our own solar system but wtf do I know? I think in the grand scheme of things their free to play just is not good enough to compete with the likes of fornite and apex legends. I think a 3 game trilogy was a bit too ambitious their running out of ideals and hell it wasent like they had many to begin with. This could have been the Star wars of video games. But they let that slip through their fingers. I hope sony don't get screwed on buying bungie. Cause this is not the same bungie of the halo days. Those members the majority left a decade ago.

I have all the expansion packs for this game EXCEPT for this one to me beyond light was the best one. Their is so much wrong with this game its unreal. For one almost every exotic gun has been nerfed to hell. Just to please the pvp commnity Then the season passes suck ass with the same exotics over and over besides the one gun in every season pass that is new. The rest is nothing but cosmetics. Getting a raid togather is worse then what it was on destiny 1 because their is hardly any one on. Who in the hell wants to have to keep using their phone to use the destiny app just to set up a raid? Why your trying to enjoy your video game??? Then the armor the scale eater legs for hunter got nerfed to ***** in just 2 weeks after release!! Bungie just needs to tie up this games story with destiny 2 no need in making a third one. The game has no life to it. Their is so many good games coming out its unreal I put my money on street fighter 6 and final fantasy 16. Destiny is a dumpster fire of endless money pit. I don't need or want it!

In all respect it should be called ps4 ➕️ because we're not going to see much ps5 games for another year or two. Sometimes their is some gems in their but if your like most of us your caught up. I surely don't base my month off of this not that big of deal really.

Now finally a real game!! After all these let downs the past few months. This will be a pre-order . I love the final fantasy mmo and this being no turn based is a must for me. And key word production like a Sony first party.

@Jaz007 I 100% agree with you. This game strayed so hard from the path of assissens creed.. Pretty much you played a creed lacky. It's like the new starwars trilogy were Ray had no jedi training and had all the abilities of a jedi throwed at her.This game had way to much money and man hours spent. For what was put into this they could have made a mmo or atleast 2 other creed games that would have done been out.

I'm not worried about the exclusive perks on playstation. What I look at is Microsofts bad track record of buying game studios and desolving them and throwing them to the wind because of poor management. I'm looking at this from a person's perspective not a video game one. Microsoft gets a hold of that company and pisses it away just because they can. Their is going to be alot of people with out a job that's trying to support their family's. This is not about a console to me. As I said every studio that Microsoft buys ends up in ruins and so does the people that works for those companies. When you got money like they got people is no longer the big deal their just clotaral damage and the loss is a tax write off look how many people Microsoft just let go. Does it truly look like they need anything else under their belt? I'm glad somebody stepped in not over the sake of cod but for the sake of people's jobs and lively hoods.

@stvevan You would think!! Most of the final fantasy are just reading the character's responses. Final fantasy 14 great example. People forget that this is coming from a Japanese company not America. Just like Capcom with street fighter the game is fun but the dialog is always cringe worthy. I see it as it was never her fault she wasent the writer and let's face it square Enix does not have a writer of the God of War or last of us quality. I promisse you no one from that company will be writing a movie anytime soon. People wonder why the jrpg has died off its because exactly this it's a dinosaur compared to the movie the cinema like story and dialog and writing we get here In the USA.

@Nepp67 I absolutely agree with you sir! But yet still won't take full blame. Every thing they got for lieing to every one they deserved the fines the lawsuits the money they had to pay out and the mouth they got from the gaming community all deserved. It's like Ford showing you a mustang but when you go picked it up it's a escourt instead just to get your money. This has happened alot during e3 over the years. Alot of game studios pulled the bait and switch. The game be nothing like what was shown and I'm not talking about the cgi trailers that people dident understand was just a opening scene . I'm talking about the game play of a game. Sony is guilty of it as well I remeber at one e3 the promissed the ps2 was going to have Toy story 2 like graphics. This is the main reason I do not miss e3 all it ever was for the youth and the straight nerds to get hard on looking at half naked chick's and blow their minds with bs hype on a game to the point they would go out that same day and pre-order this garbage. It was for the weak minded to be tooken advantage of.

I had very high hopes for this game was looking forward to it for so long tried the demo weeks back and was very let down.
The controls need work the combat needs work. I'm passing on this at launch got a bad feeling about it. Just got done reading Forbes and square Enix patched the demo. IF you got to patch a demo it makes me question about the full games as a whole. The game is also very poorly optimized for pc needing a whooping 32gigs of ram and the nivida 40 just for 4k and 60fps. I'm urging any one not to buy into the hype wait for reviews. I tried the demo on ps5 and was going to buy it for ps5. I'm seeing this as one of those really really bad games that takes a years worth of patches and updates to get right. This is another beta test on launch day type of deal.

I was excited for this game and was going to pre-order. The demo changed my mind the combat is clunky movement is clunky. I'm going to wait to see what the review scores are since this is a new ip.

@Waitinonpsvr2 uhh I've done that to all 3 your and cleaned them with alcohol pads. My home is a pet free smoke free home. They was no hair. You can get mad and pissy if you want when you pay good money at $85 a pop should not be experiencing this in a little over a year of game play. When my launch model ps4 and ps3 fat have no issues and their launch controllers.

@Ravix my 3rd Controller with joy condrift. And my 3 controllers pulls so hard to the left so much it's a fight in the playstation dash to select the correct game becausr they pull so hard to the left. I've tooken care of them and I don't play with alot of force. I really hope somebody starts a lawsuit like what happend with Nintendo joycon drift. That got Nintendo to get the led ot and fix it. 1 year of use on a $80 controller that's bs.

This is the way it is now ! I'm 40 years old been gaming since the atari 2600 and the comadore 64. Through the years and my generation fought back if something wasent worth of the cost we dident buy it and then Big business when back to the drawing board to make it better to get our money. This day and time people have all the info for what their buying and still buy it regardless of. Yes I'm a playstation fan but I'm no fool I'm not paying $200 for somthing that has a downgraded battery life no matter how many playstation and Sony logos are splattered on it.

@LP09 I agree this is a pain but it's because ps4 had to be supported for so long cause alot of people couldn't get a ps5 due to supply and scalpers. But here is the plus size Sony has stopped production of ps4 and alot of games are starting to just be made for ps5. On Microsofts end that is not the case at all all of their games will have a low end and high end version because of the s series. So I see this ending all togather soon for ps5 owners.

@FierceViper82G All I agree it was all over the place and very little to do with quote on quote Assissens at all. You dident get no creed story till the last story mission. They throu a rest blade on a viking and called it creed. Way to much unessery time wasters in that game it was bloated with unessery ***** just to drag it out. I hope mirage goes back to the ezio trilogy way of story telling and sandbox game play.

@Balie3000 I agree a ps5 pro is not needed to get 60fps. The ps5 is more then able we seen that.. PC has been running 60fps going on a decade now with 120 to 240 being their standard. I say $70 game should gaerentee 60fps

I've read alot on this through out the week and seen were developers are blaming the s series for holding them back and fight with Microsoft to drop the series s . They won't thou because it's their gamer pass machine pretty much their stream box. Hopefully nexgen developers will be more mindful and not sign contracts that demand them to support outdated tech that bottle knecks game development for our $500 systems.

How best describe this is a 5 it's like eating the main course on your plate witch was batman arkem series and then you got the side that you really don't won't that be this game its like playing as ezio then playing rogue. Best I can describe it

The golden Era ahhh I miss arcades you half to remeber I was born in the early 80s. Use to have a pocket full of quarters for mortal kombat /killer instinct /street fighter I remeber getting the bonus rounds were you could destroy a whole car in a small amount if time. Then ridge racer /revolution x/ Gone are those days of great social interaction of meeting new people face to face and having a blast

I played ow1 for years but 2 looks just like ow1 the graphics look the same exactly for a game that's spent this much time and rnd . They could have just released these small amount of new characters amd maps as dlc. I'm glad it's free to play because it's not worth buying. Nothing new to the table at all looks like it was made for ps4 at the 2nd span of its life cycle.

Eizo trilogy remastered on ps5 I'm on revelations now. Such great story telling and voice acting

The way I see it is no one even had interest in sonic in over 20 years until the movies came out then it started a fad. All I got to say is if paramount made that character Appling again then surly God Sega the gaming company who made this character a reality can get it atleast one game right since they know the character inside and out. If they can't they just need to shut their doors. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed every one of em from the genesis to Sega cd to the 32x to the dream cast. Sonic adventure 2 was the last good one put it and every since all they have done is struggle surely God in the golden age of gaming were you Got games now like God of War and assissens creed they can get it right shouldn't be this worry some for every one that's hoping that they do.

@Uncharted2007 I agree with you. I've been playing the remastered ezio trilogy on ps5 because to me those was the best creed games the story is fluid and the voice acting and personality of the characters are top end. Even thou the graphics aren't that great the rest make up for it. Vhalla was all over the place and their wasn't much assissens lore in the game.

Through every gta game is always ***** law enforcement and even promote hacking in the game its self. But when some kid decides to apply it to the real world. Then rocket star wants law enforcement help. Thank God and atleast it was a cyber attack on the company who promotes this kind of thing. Instead of some school or innocent child getting shot.

Legacy of kain is way past do 2 decades and I waited along time for them to pick up we're defiance left off

I agree but they won't! Its the sex appeal of that character is the reason they keep wearing her out. I do enjoy the character but yes their is so many great villains in the rogues gallery. To me Rez AL ghoul has never gotten the attention he deserved even in the old Arkama games

Well if sony was that worried about it. Maybe they should have made s move. Yea they don't got it like ms but they could have came up with that. You have to remeber sony is bigger then just Playstation. They own movie studios and a electronic devison. Maybe they shouldn't have slept on it if it matters so much?

I think it's more then console shortage in Japan the reason ps5 is not selling so goof. The Japanese dislike big bulky products. They like small and simple designs they was issues with that when the fat ps3 or the fat orignal xbox. Yes shortage I'm sure has alot but they will snub their noise up if it's not the way the won't it

@NEStalgia that's horrible this generation had been a struggle and a awful experience for people who are still trying to find a console that's enough right their. Gaming has turned in to a headache of a Hobbie and it shouldn't be.

To me this is all insane first off I'd never pay as much for a sub as I would a new console. On the other hand sony warned do not use the loop hole . It was all over Google news feed all over gaming sites such as this one and people kept trying to beat the system and get somthing for nothing to those people they get what they deserved for being greedy I don't feel bad for them at all. For new subs the service is not even worth it to me that's my opinion . I'll keep my my original ps plus on my ps5 and Xbox gamer pass on my pc.

@sanderson72 I agree with what you said as well it is a great deal of circumstances not just one or too or one thing it's a number of things. I've been gaming since the early 80s comdore 64 / atari 2600 /apple 2e . Ordered my original playstation out of gamepro mag with mod chip solderd in. Been a playstation fan for years. I have a ps5 had it since feb of last year took alot of 6am wake up calls to be at the doors at target to get it. Why working 12 hours shifts 11 to a 11pm then coming home getting around 5 hours of sleep and being the first inline at electronics for a week straight to finally snag one. That is way to much effort to put in just to find one . The launched should had been delayed another 2 years their was plenty on ps4 to play and still coming out. I myself have been thinking about switching to Xbox come next-gen it does seem awful tempting with gamer pass being way more robust then this new ps plus is looking to be and more of their console in the wild.

This whole generation has sucked and is the worst mess I have ever seen in gaming as a whole. I Blame it on Sony and customers both as a whole you had people wanting them to keep supporting ps4 I had some fool on here saying the ps4 don't use semiconductors so it has no impact all yes it does and all yes it uses semiconductors. I blame the fan base as much as I blame Sony!! Please support ps4 Sony all God their is not enough ps5s well you wanted ps4s produced too so that took away. And then it's keep making games for ps4 cause I can't find a ps5 . Then you find a ps5 then it's stop making ps4 games because last Gen is holding back the new Gen. But customers won't take any blame of wanting it all then get upset because they listened to all their silly ass request . Don't be sorry you got what you wanted they listened to all your demands now it's a mess.

@DavidKleinfeld All I agree it's this generation man. Give me give me is all you hear. When I played those games back in the day all we had was our word that we beat it or self knowing of doing so. I don't need a trophy to know I beat the dam game.. I'm more content with the upgrades done to those games.

Trophy support don't bother me for the older games . I do wish they would put the true golden oldies of that area on their thou.

I think we all forget the times they are a changing. Just like halo and cod caused a up fire of shooters to be made because they was pulling down so much money that's faded and just like every console had a platformer with their very on mascot that's faded all except in Nintendo of course and now Fortnite has set a new standard because people throw money at it via season pass and buying skins. I think alot of people forget these businesses like Sony and Microsoft they don't care about you or even what you like hell they don't even care about gaming. If gaming dident make them money they would have moved on to somthing else. All they care about is your money and what's going to get them as much of as fast as possible that's it. That's what speaks to them and that's how your vote is casted via your wallet.. As far as offline first party games goes sonys got the best in my opinion but if your not happy or you don't feel the platform is moving in the same direction that fits you by all means it's your dollar do what makes you have theirs pc Xbox and Nintendo. Keep mind every time you bought a destiny expansion back or season pass and the same with fortnite you voted by buying what you liked

Played tomb raider since the ps1 and Saturn days and I enjoyed the news but the last one got mixed reviews. Uncharted is done better and those new tomb raiders had a hard time keeping up work the bar that uncharted has set. I don't see they missed out on anything by not buying that company. Now if the legacy of kain is was invovled in that then I'd say it was worth it. You got to keep in mind Sony don't have the bank roll MS has they can't just go buy everything up they have to be selective and know it's a quality worth having.

You know I've been gaming since the commodore 64 and the atari 2600 and after and I've been fortunate to be apart of every major launch of a console that I wanted. I wasn't able to get my ps5 till February of last year .I still can't find my wife one . This generation has been a complete and uder let down with the way this whole thing has been handled. I don't even won't to tell any one when asked if I have a ps5 that I got one. Because I feel bad that they are unable to get one. This was rushed with no measures taken they shouldn't have released it until they had enough to put put day 1. So if most of the consoles are in some scalpers ware house their not in homes were people are going to be buying games thus meaning game sales aren't going to be over the top.Maybe that will wake them up and instead of throwing all the cash into buying up game developers how about buying more chip plants or throw a bone to AMD to help ramp up more manufacturing ? This has not made gaming fun or enjoyable this has made it a nightmare and a pain in ass.
