From what have read on here and other sites all of these VR games miss the mark.
I can say this is one move Microsoft did good on passing up. Through the decades they test the waters on and off again. I remeber and yes I'm 40 a little older then most when the movie Lawnmower man came out great movie if you haven't seen it. Then everybody tried VR the local mall arcades had vr booths and vr pits. Then Nintendo released virtual boy all of it failed. Yes the technology has came along way since then but it's still not their. I haven't seen 1 game or one reweiw that screams go out and spend $599 on this thing? It would take more then 1 game for that cost. I'd rather have me a new sony bravo 60 inch then somthing clunky I got to we're on my head and can't share the experience with any one else around me. That was a 90s experience that should had stayed in the early 90s. Technology is or should be at the level were a headset is no longer needed. Also what gets me is the lack of creativity and ideals for these games witch makes no since to make example a batman beyond vr game were your in the future rustic bat suit and look out the viser Hud and use the suites invisibility and the controllers to stick your finger to the wall and listen easily drop and flight. Or a highlander game were your beheading other immortals use the controllers to mimmak a sword and the force feed back in the headset vibrating when your getting a quickening? Or a God of War vr spin off were you Play as Zeus looking down from Mount Olympic and the controllers and headset vibrating as he grows from normal size to giant size to smite whole civilizations? Or a Assassin's creed game witch would be a perfect fit because of the antomus used in the games is like a version of vr. I Mean seriously were is the creativity and imagination? It's like these people are brain dead who have wasted tools and backing at their finger tips and instead make cheap games that belong on a mobile phone.

I think between the design and the dual sense feedback they had a great and promising design for a complete portable hand held if they had just went the extra mile and made the thing it's on standalone console with the option to play all ps5 games in digtal library on the go plus cartridges or just only digtal for it's own unique games. Then they would have gave their self a real run of a chance in the hand held market place. That would have the switch beat on every fronts. Play your existing ps5 library on the go why pushing the insintive for going all digtal plus it's own games tailored to it.. Wasted opportunity to get their foot deep in that market share.

@Matroska it's laziness and a cheap cash grab. All of these things have been available to pc for years decades by the modding community! This is why I said a ps5 pro is pointless its not going to change anything it don't matter if the ps5 sported the newest amd ryzen cpu and the newest graphic high-end chip set. The developers are going to do the bare minimum and you still wouldn't see all games 4k and 60fps!

@Areus agree everquest 1 and 2 were the beat so many memory's in Norath! DC universe sucks I'm surprised it's still around . People want to play as their favert hero not a water down mini me of their hero.

@LifeGirl Yes it needs to come asap. I remeber when the internet first came out people were using it for very useful things to find knowledge of things that they dident know or find facts on things they were interested in. Also for dating of course porn has always been a biggie since the Pam and Tommy video way way way back in the day. But none of that was toxic to no one else what you did in your home was your business. Now since social media their is a certain majority who just live on that thing and torment and aggravate and hate anybody for any reason.

Nothing stable about this patch both my ps5 and my wife's ps5 the controllers charge and charge and won't completely charge all weekend long. This happend at launch of ps5 too then they fixed it now they broke it again.

This game should be a hard pass for anybody seeing that their is actual good games coming out Mortal kombat and assissens creed are on their way and hell if you want to scratch that itch you can always throw down for final fantasy 16 ! If your going to spend your money on a game then by all means spend it on one that is worth your money vote with your wallet! I don't blame these other people for getting worked up their right blind ignorance of pre-ordering sorry games is hurting the rest of us that work all week and when we spend that hard earned cash on somthing to enjoy it should be every bit on all fronts worth that $70 price tag ! Also don't for get baldars gate is another good one.

All no! Everyday now somebody is being racist! If you disagree with some one your racist. If some don't like what somebody says their racist. The jrpg have been called that since the regular nes days. Sounds like somebody's feeling left out and needs a little attention to feel important. @KundaliniRising333 Agree !! 100% with how bad it is in the USA right now you would think people would be protesting the real issues we got going on such Gas going up and down by 25 to 50 cents over night/The cost of grocerys/The housing crisis/ How were getting ate up in taxes and a Crime sydenicate running the white house and a president who just don't fall down stairs he falls up them too. 10 to 15 years ago they would be protest over real things like this that effect our day to day living. The game and combat look fantastic. I have this pre-ordered. But am hoping Jade or Sindel make the cut.

@Kanji-Tatsumi yeeeeah you will see that update close to the end of the ps5s life cycle as you did with ps3 and ps4. Neather do I understand it ether why sony starts from scratch with generation of console instead of building upon what's done been implemented.

@Tasuki If that was logical stance then the sony would be getting the new Elderscrolls from that publisher and that red game wouldn't have got canceled in ps5 development. This is all to play nice incase they want to buy another and another company. Smoke and mirrors to look humble and having good will and such.

My personal opinion and were all allowed to have those. To me this is what's wrong with the USA theirs no justice and no being held accountable for one's actions and money pays everybody out of every wrong deed. @Korgon I enjoyed black ops series but it's all been wore out they have went from world War 2 to the futureristict of warfare and back again and done it all through again. The only place they haven't is space!! I agree with you their is to many good games with compelling gameplay/story/ and fresh gimmicks coming out this year and that are done out.

All I agree with you my friend.. it's all been a over priced and a over hyped console generation. It's all been a money grab. Maybe a 8k Blu-ray movie that's the only 8k were ever going to get out of it.. The games don't even get me started on paying $79 for some of these games to be a beta tester with a slew of incoming hot fixes. Do you know what this $79 price tag makes me do is be more selective over what games I buy by sticking with the franchise I know are good. I can't afford to take a chance on a $79 dud of a game that may not be worth nothing and I'm sure theirs been some good new one hit wonder games I've missed. But that's not my fault that's the greed of the game industry. I make two grand every two weeks yes my home and cars are paid for but I'm 40 years old have a wife and kids to take care. The cost of living is threw the rough !! Example street fighter 6 got my pre-order it was $59 a fair price plus I know the franchise is good and the the game has a rich with content It got my money so did For bidden west / God of War ragnorak/ Spiderman/ elden ring and the rest I play on my yearly sub of extra so I can afford to give games I missed a try or was weary of spending money on! This is not the customers fault gaming use to be a everybody Hobbie specially console gaming because it dident require a new video card every 2 years but even that's changed. If people would boycott these game prices like the whole USA did for bud light this ***** would stop. Theirs 2 votes in America that matter the election vote and the vote with your wallet. Then you got those kinds of people who want a ps5 pro? Why? I had the ps4 pro it wasent leaps and bounds why won't more broken promisses and hype for console that's going to cost more! Then only do maybe 5% more then the original ps5 bump that!! It's getting screwd over and people beg to get ripped off. At this point is cheaper to have a steam account and a beefy gaming pc on the side witch I do! @Czar_Khastik I'm glad when you dream that you dream big my friend! Your talk about a whole new console generation . If you want those specs any time soon then it's time for you to build your self a gaming PC! But also know even pc and 8k is not mainstream yet. 4k on all fronts is still trying to be masterd with smooth frame rates. To be more realistic you can say nexgen should be 4k with a 120fps locked on all games.

@Northern_munkey They are buggies. That's why I play them on pc because the mods fix alot of it amd increase the games longevity .

Some of you who are defending Microsoft becareful what you with for! Keep this in mind have you ever wondered why windows os is the only operating available besides Mac os? Because Microsoft soft owns monopoly on the market so theirs no other choices and any who attempts to make another os they buy it up to keep it from going to mass market. Here's a story you can Google way back in the day when dial up was still a thing. A guy made a os goes in Microsofts office keeps his os and then tells him that no one is interested in it. They keep it and it becomes windows xp masked with the name windows and Microsoft branded. Yea theirs Linux free open source but even with them Microsoft has caused them legal issues . This is a terrible company and we're stuck with the only option being a memory sucking os with no other choices. I'm glad their is people trying to protect us and I'm glad no one is looking the other way. This company is a void hell it's even ballsy enough to try and buy Nintendo and got laughed out of their office. Google that too! Their trying to monopoly the gaming industry and if that could ever happen . The console and the os they call xbox would be way more sorry cause their the only game in town they can cut cost all the way around because their is not another choice !

@KilloWertz I also.agree with that... I do enjoy black ops on scale of 2 out of time of 10 of my time when I game. It wasent even a thought when I bought my ps5 or my built my latest pc rig. I've always thought Sony could come up with their own thing that would be way better then cod. Cod has went to the past and to the future of warfare amd back again the only place it has not went yet is space. I wouldn't miss it at all. But I do belive just like movies and music a following is earned by hardwork of the artist invovled. To me its like Microsoft trying to buy up all of Warner Brothers records just because their to sorry to go out here and find their own music artist and they ones they do find that was a one hit wonder they just get rid of them. Everything they have showed me since Phil took the job is they can't create lighting in a bottle twice that they clinge to one or two of the 360 and original xbox ips to get them through the storm halo is one of them and it should had ended with reach. They can't even get a live action show right of the halo game. Microsoft is in depths of entertainment that they know nothing about and think buying every up is going to force their way to the top. Sony knows entertainment they have produced movies and music for years and video games. Microsoft is a software company trying to monopoly its way to the top in areas it don't know nothing about or even in touch with its gaming community.

Their trying to buy their way to producing good games. Yes I know sony has bought studios too but they have produced great games that's the difference and their studios dont wind up being throwed to the wind.If Starfeld is good that will be the first good game that has come out since the X launched.

@Bentleyma absolutely! They were great games played them both. But I have a bit of Spiderman fatigue. I'm going to pass on this 3rd entry. Just so much more to play that's different right now. Wolverine I am looking forward too and that's one of the best marvel characters to me and it hasent been over saturated.

To me this is what I've been wanting! We all have our favorite creed games mine was the ezio trilogy. I've played and beat em all but after origins it started straying heavily on what it meant to be a assissen and by the time you played valhalla hardly felt like creed at all.

@Paramahansa See that's the same issue I have with it. As I've said before I'm a firm believer in all races being equal and being treated equal. But just like in movies and it's starting to becoming the practice in video games Witch is black washing every other ethic people. How is that fair to wash away a character set in the middle east with a black character just like you said just because their skin is brown. Their is Indians eygiption mexican. How fair is it to make everything about afircan American how the hell is that equality? I don't blame these cultures and other countries for getting upset about their heritage being in outrage over this. These movie studios and game studios need to realize it's not just one race that buys their products and it's getting old fast. Talk about equal then make it all equality. @Toilet_Goat Street fighter 6 is good and I enjoy it and I have np with old school rap. But I agree with you and this is becoming a issue of forcing black culture on every medium and video games now. Prince of Persia is middle eastern. I'm all for equal rights and people being treated fairly. @Pat_trick graphics wise agree with you 11 did look better as I can tell Kittana and meleene look better then 11. But when it comes to graphics and graphics only it looks like a step backwards to rush in on the hype train for the 2nd movie and also because they feel the pressure of getting their fighter out their before sf6 and tekken takes some of their user base.

Microsoft showed a unpolished game and the world hated it before it even came out. Also to your 2nd part also true the ps4 only had knack and kill zone as it's only exclusives for the longest after launch. These dramatic people kill me over this .. We have had Rachet and clank/spiderman/Spiderman miles/horizon for bidden west/ horizon expansion/Gran turismo/God of War / that's not even all of them that's just off the top of my head. Don't forget all the exclusive content for call of duty and destiny and what ever other game sony has signed deals with. Forspoken even thou it was a fail. They done showed Spiderman 2 game play. At this point people's expectations can never be pleases. All we seen is cgi trailers yeah well really? That's because right now most of these games are just concept haven't even been polished enough to show in game footage if their is even any to show! More less their just a thought! This has been a great 2 years for playstation gaming. Look at the 3rd party we have and are getting! Hogwarts legacy/final fantasy/ street fighter 6/mortal kombat 1/assissens creed mirage/ jedi fallen order 2/ I MEAN COME ON!! if you can't find somthing you enjoy out of all of that then maybe gaming is not for you! Or if your somebody that constantly has to be playing a game every day of their life then give live service a good apex/fortnite/destiny! I've never seen gaming this good and so much to choose from and I've been gaming since the atari 2600 and the comadore 64.

Here's the thing alot of people are forgetting here. God of War and horizon forbidden west and gran turismo haven't been out too long at all. It's Sony not Chris angel realistically your expecting first party games from these studios in just 6 months? Insomniac has spider man 2 give them time your not going to get exclusives from these studios 6 months after their last game launches. Their is dry spells now in again. If you won't somthing to really cry about check out the xbox line up of first party since launch day lol. Your look at another year and a half if not 2 years before any thing is announced from playstation studios. Your going to have to make due on 3rd party till then. Been doing this for 40 years I know how it works. Third party is pretty good this year hell I got street fighter 6 I pre-ordered and assissens creed mirage. Metal gear 3 remake looked good all thou I agree it should of been metal gear sold 1 that got the remake attention it needed it the most.Theirs also final fantasy! Just takes some time going from a ideal to a concept to a production of a game. Some of the major first games take 2 to 4 years. I also agree the portable streamer for ps5 is useless. That would had made a nice handheld but useless since you can only play it in your home.

That's also true just dident wont to write a biography on Microsoft for the past decades. I disagree thou when it comes to the games they had blockbuster ips but during the original xbox and 360 Era. Since then their has been very little effort In keeping the hype up they could have helped their selves. Yes the ps3 was overpriced and yes red ring of death. But they had great momentum. They let it pass them by.

For a fanboy of video games Spencer claims to be he has no clue what he is doing? I remeber the original xbox erra and the 360 erra . Peter Moore was over xbox then brought him on board when Sega went to become a publisher and by his side was Jay alerd and Samus Black those three were the Rockstars of xbox! They pushed for online and xbox live and after the modding scene off the original xbox they showed the dash to Bill gates and said this is what users want in 360. Exclusives were top end and they advertised heavily . Only on xbox ! Only on xbox! Was on the commercials and the box art of the games. Mountain dew auctions post launch to enter bottle caps for a chance to bid. The xbox brand was well on its way to become a worthy contender for Sony and Nintendo. Then Peter Moore went to EA and we got the guy who ruined xbox one at e3 with forced online and the kinect. Then they got Spencer to me is everyone's buddy but knows nothing about how to utilize the brand of xbox and I have to say he really has no excuse Microsoft has backed him with buying up all these game developers and studios and talent and still has not produced nothing that woes the gamers. He is wasting resources and the people's lives under his umbrella that want to create art and entertainment. This guy is just a talker. They have pretty much made the xbox brand a streaming box in your home for a streaming service with JUST OK third party games. Yes Microsoft had a hefty bank account but like all companies in it to make money. I do see them one day ending the xbox brand maybe keeping the xbox gamer pass and rebranding to Microsoft gaming pass. Also hope they don't buy up any more studios or developers because you will never hear of them if that happens.

Here is a really out their ideal!! How about making some good games and putting them out their and try it on and see what happens?? They have road halo to hell . Yes do anything but make good games on a console for video games and duh your not going to sell .

@IOI I agree with you about the pro being bs news. Sony hasent even started making money off the ps5 hardware or break even their still selling it at a loss. Also we just don't need it ! Their would be minum increase in specs .. These people who are wanting these midgen upgrades buy a PC so you can upgrade and keep up to date that's what I do. I have this game digital pre-order for a few months now. Can not wait! The fighter gene is my favorite kind of gaming . Use to spend countless quarters in the arcade as a youngster playing mortal kombat and killer instinct and street fighter. I agree street fighter 5 was bland and can not believe that's the only installment we were stuck with on ps4 through its whole life cycle.

Theirs some people on here that are up set this didn't go throu. Let me tell from some one who has built pc's for decades. Have you ever wondered why the only operating system on the market is Windows? That's because Microsoft has snuffed out any one who has ever tried to make a OS that could compete by buying them out and tossing it in the trash. Linux is a free os and they have even made it hard for open source on that OS by blocking and patent every bit of software features as they can. Your only other option is to buy a Mac if you want a different OS. For decades windows has been forced on us cause we have no other choice but Mac. Microsoft's monopoly goes beyond gaming I for one understand why the uk ruled because of cloud. Their trying to make their business your only option and yes their trying to do it to your gaming as well. You can belive what ever that they was going to keep cod on every system that was just a show of good faith to get everybody to buy into their good will just to appease everybody to get this deal past.The company is a tyrant and maybe now this younger generation can see just how brutal they can be when they don't get what they won't and how far they will go by the threats made to a entire country. What's funny is they would loose all that revenue from a entire country but their some people on here who think that they wouldn't pull cod from playstation? Seriously some of you need to wake up.

@nessisonett I agree with you! The cost of living and the cost of gaming is up their. I do see ps extra paying for its self just by playing 2 games because buying 1 game forn$75 is nearly the price of extra just $25 shy. Because of the cost of games you can't really afford too try anything different or take a chance on a new franchise that you stick with what franchises you know are going to be great. I think the gaming industry as a whole has shot its self in the foot with the close to a $100 mark up for a game. Because now you have to pick what you know best if that's your entrance off and on for a month to month.

I did drop to extra from premium this year due to the fact I'm 40 years old I played all those older Gen games throu the decades when they was in their prime. It's just hard playing those older games when the graphics look so out dated.Music/movies/art age well video games do not when it comes to visuals. Extra is the deal for me I did try premium for a year thou to give it a shot and all I wanted to play was ps4 and ps5 games.

I enjoy black ops. But I was never planning on buying another after cold war. They have created war scenarios from every point in time. To me it's out dated and done and their was nothing that hadn't been done before. I don't feel like I'm going to be missing anything and for the life of me I don't understand why sony wasent working on their on first party game for all these years in the behind the scenes so they wouldn't have to poor money into time exclusive content. It made me think of MAG that was ambitious but never happen. I don't even know why that project got silently scrapped. I have more fun in Apex Legends then I do black ops as I said it's went from world War 1 to the future and back and forth a dozen times.

I really never cared for him he was the main reason the ps3 had such a rocky start. What's crazy is during that time I liked Peter Moore he was over the 360 . I had both consoles and if you remeber the Xbox brand was at its hight. Now I dislike both Jim and Spencer. But Moore was a good one he listened to the gaming community and what they wanted before that he worked at sega.

Were in a depression rather our presidential leader wants to use the word or not. Inflation is at all time high and so is the cost of living jacked up. Their not going to sale as much as they would if they had made more at launch when we had extra money 2 years ago.

They say theirs a fool born every minute and I agree when reading some of these comments from the same people who was complaining In other threads about the vr head set being so expensive and the games and yet sitting here begging to get screwed over again by wanting this

@thechetearly I don't think so ether people forget the reason the Pro was released was to push people into buying a 4k TV and to get Sony a early foot in the door in the 4k market. Regardless what other people won't I wouldn't won't this to become a trend of being 2 consoles in the same life cycle. I did pre-order the pro but it was because it was 4k aka checkerd board 4k. I wouldn't do it again the ps5 is plenty fast and fluid and quick to start a game and to switch to another. Think about what your begging for here. Do you really won't consoles turn to the ways of Apple I phones to we're you pay for a upgrade of the same version of the phone? Not me! I have a PC for a reason and even the rate you must upgrade a video card has slowed down. Gaming has done turned into a costly one this generation with $70 games and expensive add-ons. When ps6 comes out I'll buy it like I did ps5. But not a ps5 pro for 2 years before 6.
