Sorry but no, She's quite literally paid to shill the game in the same way actors go on press tours for movies. The Marketing manufactured hype doesn't guarantee a success.

I can see opportunities to bring prices down. Get rid of entitled actors and actresses that demand ridiculous Hollywood level amounts of royalties for a goddamn video game.

Alanah Pearce is all over the place. She was also on Twitter recently complaining about fans "Sexualizing" a fictional character she portrays in an anime. It's not okay to sexualize women, but men are A-OK because look at all the thirsting over Leon from RE9.

She has since deleted that tweet, of course.

Player Numbers still aren't all that impressive. Will they improve over the weekend? Who knows. So reviews are average to positive, cool, doesn't mean anything if only a small percentage of PC and PS5 owners are actually playing it.

I'm already worried about Horizon 3.

I want Game Preservation, regardless of content. People have become too afraid of any content that makes them uncomfortable.

If it's removed, I probably won't buy out of principle.

Not even included in my PS+ will I play this. The narrative just isn't for me. The first game can exist in it's own little bubble.

Another "Who Cares?" Sort of update for me. The PS5 is already pretty decently power efficient and it's not like I own multiple PS5's for controller pairing.

I want actually useful things like:

• Sharing videos saves the chat audio into a separate channel so it can be removed later if wanted. This way I don't have to keep turning it on and off.
• Streaming shares Discord Chat.

That's not surprising, all the original devs are long gone. Have you seen the Team Photos over the years?

Man I miss PixelJunk Shooter. Would love a re-release of that since it was a PS3 game. Can't play it on my PS5 without paying for a subscription and then having streaming latency.

It was touted as having improved RT and yet Devs aren't utilizing it.

It's still the same stuff, 4K 30fps or 1440p at 60fps.
If you want RT, you're stuck with the quality mode with 30fps in most games. There are nice exceptions like first party games like Ratchet and Clank.

RT makes a much bigger difference in fidelity than resolution does. I'd pick 60FPS with RT over 4K every time regardless of what res the game ran at.

Here's a thought. You can turn it off.

Better yet, playstation has parental control features that turn it off automatically.

@DonkeyFantasy Hoyo is based in China where using AI voices of real people in entertainment is already illegal. So this strike is pointless.

It's about Money, not AI.

The community is starting to turn against the SAG-AFTRA Union. What started as AI Protections has turned into a nightmare of mafia-like behavior.

TLDR: If Hoyo signs the agreement, the non-union VA's must either join the union or be recast after a certain amount of time. Many of them are outside the US and can't join the union, anyway.

@HotGoomba It's quite simple, really. After Far Cry 6 and Division 2 were massive disappointments for me, I have my expectations set for any upcoming Ubisoft title.

Remember when they marketed it as having 60FPS "quality modes" and not having to sacrifice RT as much?

Well that was a load of crap. Still need to limit your experience to 30fps for those sweet rays. 30FPS on an OLED is hard to tolerate.

I wouldn't be surprised if Peter Parker's role in SM3 was to kill him off. SM2 was such a massive disappointment for me story wise.

Still basically does nothing I care about. My most requested feature is still that the built in video/audio encoder save game and chat audio as two separate channels. The WebM format the PS5 uses supports this.

The first Horizon Game was good, great even.

The second game however, did not hit with me. Story was kind of all over the place and every quest, I sh-t you not, every damn quest is a fetch quest.

The first art they released was objectively terrible. Second was redemption.

It's that plain and simple. It wasn't unfairly criticized, it was just criticized.

Dropped it after Tencent bought it's way into it. Sorry.
