Yorkshire Tea edition is the best so far. Kinda wish this Astrobot one was better.

Regardless of the quality of the game; outside of Astrobot, these PS1/PS2/PSP games coming back with trophies is the one thing that Playstation is keeping me interested with. Quite exciting each month clicking on the PS+ list (though I don’t have or want PS+) just to see what new old game is coming back with trophies.

I hope they keep the release cadence up and bring more obscurities. Or just give me Dynasty Warriors 2 and 3 with trophies.

Much rather get a Meta Quest 3 than this. Something I have been considering lately. Just holding out for the Xbox branded one they teased.

@BacklogBrad Hi-Fi Rush was my GOTY 2023 but even I bounced off it initially as I thought that first level was overly long. I put the game down and then didn’t pick it back up until months later. The rest of the game has a much better pace though.

@__jamiie it is sad and it’s killing a console. Not a publisher but a console. Even if not now, then eventually. Obviously hope i’m wrong!

@falkirk4life @RicketerCricketer it was slimy when Xbox did it. But they don’t do it anymore as far as i’m aware. Which multiplatform game has exclusive content on Xbox that you can’t play on PS or at least couldn’t for a year?

He is correct. It’s slimy every time Playstation does it. Same with Harry Potter and Marvel’s Avengers.

My first ever platinum was the PS3 remaster of Sly 1. Was quite a short one!

Of course yea it depends how many games you are interested it. Very true. But there are so many great games hitting Gamepass.

I don’t get that. Even if you want to own them; you can play them on Gamepass and then just buy them when they are heavily discounted in a couple of years. Then you can own them (and never play them again) which people seem desperate to do all of a sudden.

Don’t get me wrong; I like owning games too. But if I don’t need to buy them at launch full price then… good

@OldGamer999 Yea I remember people here saying they wouldn’t buy another Bethesda game ever again, even if it did come to Playstation, just because Xbox owns it now. Which is thick. Lots of people being thick.

@Solingo_Bill I get it - there are financial and space reasons, and also getting permission from the wife etc. but then there is the other side of it.

If Xbox was to suffer even more, people would miss it when it’s gone. Especially people who report on it almost every day!

@OldGamer999 I know it’s a joke but it’s frustrating when people want to play all the Xbox games; but won’t buy an Xbox. Seems to be such a common mindset which is killing the console.

Also Jez Cordon has said none of these are in development for Playstation. Reason I mention that is because him and Tom Warren are pretty much as bad as eachother so…

I think Valve was actually the one to basically say to Sony - “stop being *****, we are giving out refunds on your behalf and if you continue this ***** we won’t list your future games”.

Removing access is thick. Stop defending Sony’s behaviour. They are withdrawing access to a game people have paid for. Just to get their MAU up to even compete with Xbox’s. Sony get hacked so often

I hope this doesn’t happen to be honest, even if it is inevitable. Just my opinion. Do people want Nintendo to do the same? That would be horrible too. Each should continue with their first party identity.

@Yorozayu well budgets do come into it. It’s not a case of 2m copies sold being “good” or “bad”. It depends how much they spent to achieve that.

If GTA6 sold 2 million it would be a disaster, for example.

But seriously, time to ditch the BS exclusivity now Square Enix.

Been revisiting New Vegas on Series X and will hop back into F4 when the update drops to finish up some DLC achievements. Love these games.

Man Xbox IPs are dominating right now. So much so that you might have Fallout and Sea of Thieves competing with eachother.

@andrewsqual you might wanna re-check that. Grounded full release was 2022. Same year as Pentiment. The quiet Xbox year.

@Flaming_Kaiser well it’s not hard it’s just not what I was talking about. You randomly changed the subject? For the record, I agree and dislike when I hear the “wait for it to hit Gamepass” thing. But look at Fallout - it’s all on Gamepass and it’s currently topping the charts on Xbox. I have around 750 digitally owned games on Xbox.

Anyway the incredible Xbox games I was referring to are going to be the ones you have heard before. You want me to basically list all the exclusives, whats the point just use google. The Gears of War series is one of my favourite of all time. The variety on Xbox completely outclasses Playstation in my opinion.

No thanks. Really don’t care about this stuff anymore. Just give me fun games - that’s all I actually give a ***** about. As I said on another thread, I managed to play through both Starfield and Final Fantasy XVI (and what i’ve played of Rebirth) in 30FPS, and haven’t thrown up once. I’m just enjoying the games.

Plus for those that say the Series S holds back the X; same situation here. Enjoy!

@Player_1_Ready @SegaDude7 Yea supposedly Xbox would be in for the next generation instead of a Pro. All rumours though, as is this article.

If we can see this then Media Molecule can see this too. Perhaps they will be inspired by Toys for Bob and request to split off; as expensive and daunting as that might be.

Reason i’m saying this is because I feel like we’ve seen this before about MM. It feels inevitable.

@Dragoon1994 Spyro and Crash are already Xbox IPs; so it would be Xbox’s decision if their next instalments are multiplatform or exclusive.

I feel like this was a case of the studio being closed due to layoffs; but they wanted to keep going themselves and convinced (financially? Or with exclusivity deals?) Xbox to let them keep their studio name.

@somnambulance I highly doubt that - they never owned them in the first place.

This is kinda wild but if thats what they want then good for them - they are a very small studio now 😕
