Re: NBA 2K23 Teases PS5 Gameplay with First Look Trailer

@OrtadragoonX As long as people keep buying the game every year, while spending a ton of money on in game clothing, card packs, and upgrading their character, it'll never happen. Game companies want to be able to reset your progress and digital possessions every year so that you gotta buy it all again.

Re: MultiVersus Is the Biggest Fighting Game on the Planet Right Now

“Unfortunately, Sony doesn’t publish most played stats”. This is something that they really need to do. At the very least, they could give a top fifty most played games list so that any consumer considering purchasing a multiplayer title would at least have a vague idea of how healthy the games population was.

Re: Reaction: We Need to Talk About PS Plus Premium

There is absolutely no excuse for there not to be more first party offerings. The majority of classic Sony owned games/IPs should have been front and centre from day one. Where are games like Socom, Warhawk, Champions of Norrath, Colony Wars, etc. This tier could have been bolstered by Sony’s games alone for at least the first few months. I hope I’m wrong, but this tier appears to be an afterthought to make it seem like Sony actually cared about the classics that made them who they are today.

@SuperPotato316
You do realise that a collectors edition of a game being sold out has almost nothing to do with sales of the main game, right? Not to say that it won't sell well, but even games that sold poorly have a collectors edition that sold out before release. Hardcore fans, collectors and scalpers will inevitably jump on the chance to get their hands on that stuff.

@Ken_Kaniff
A lot of people make the mistake of calling Outriders a live service game. As people who have played the game know and the devs have stated many times, it isn't. In fact it's not even close. There aren't any microtransactions, you don't have to consistently log in to do dailies, there are no season passes, tiered battle passes or constant content updates. You got everything when you bought the game, and just like older games did in the past, you get one or two paid expansions.
