Re: Rumour: Did Destiny Put a Plasma Bullet in Sony Santa Monica's PS4 Project?

The games assets are reportedly being preserved, so Sony might just be putting it off for a while. If Cory and his team want to make a game, then they need to do a Kinetica sequel for the PS4 & Vita or an original Vita game.

I have a feeling that the "inFamous looks like Prototype" crowd would have had a field day with this, so while it is sad, I'm glad we avoided all that bull - and like I said before, we might still be getting the game in the future.

@Gamer83 Microsoft is doing worse, they only have Titanfall (which is behind Second Son) and after that there isn't really much of anything. And it's only been what, 4 months since DriveClub was delayed? I'm as excited for DriveClub as the next guy, but have some patience.

As for Sony as a whole, the PlayStation division is doing well, it's the other struggling divisions that are costing Sony money.

If you want to switch sides because Sony refuses to announce vaporware or a slew of third party multiplats, then you're welcome to.

Re: Rumour: Was PS4 Racer DriveClub Delayed Due to Sony's VR Headset?

@rjejr From what we saw before the delay, DriveClub wasn't ready to hit shelves, so I doubt Evolution delayed it just so it could launch alongside the headset.

As for Watch Dogs, I doubt Ubisoft delayed that because of GTA V, it didn't look like it needed anymore work, but maybe it just wasn't at a level where Ubisoft would feel comfortable releasing it.

Re: Review: Strider (PlayStation 4)

Not really a fan of side scrollers, but I might pick this up seeing as I've had a man-crush on Strider since Marvel vs Capcom 2 (arcade version). Judging by everything I've seen and heard, I can't help but think that this would work great on the Vita.

Re: Opinion: EA Found Its Call of Duty Killer, and Committed a Titanic Mistake

It's going to be a hit with the CoD crowd (so 12 year olds and girls), but Microsoft made a huge mistake when they decided they wanted it on the 360. Titanfall was their best bet at closing the gap, but just like with their one year headstart over the PS3, they squandered it.

Even if people buy an XBONE just for Titanfall, I highly doubt that it'd be enough to make a difference. If Microsoft were smart, they'd have cut some deal with Ubisoft for The Division content.

@Bliquid I fail to see how Sony is being self-satisfying, but that's not important right now.

I've seen many people refer to Titanfall as a system seller, but I don't see it. If it were an XBONE exclusive, it might be able to sell a lot of systems, but the fact that it's on PC and the 360 are going to impact One sales.

Re: Who Would Win Wednesdays: Dante vs. Kratos

Kratos is far more experienced and has a wider variety of weapons at his disposal, Dante wouldn't stand a snowballs chance in hell against the Ghost of Sparta - Not to mention that Kratos has a bigger moveset than Dante.

Dante's enemies also can't compare to enemies like Kronos or Aegeon, Kratos could kill everyone in the DMC universe with his eyes closed.

@JMC Dante is about as cool as a wet paperbag and he can't think of a witty one-liner to save his life.

Re: Want to Know What Your PS4 Can Do? The Order: 1886 Will Show You

@3Above @Visiblemode I've noticed that as well, especially with IGN. Call of Duty is as generic as white walls, but I never hear them give Activision any crap for it.

I've also started seeing that people are now inexplicably opposed to multiplayer after it was revealed that Infamous and The Order are singleplayer only. In an article on DualShockers, one of the editors went so far as to say that multiplayer should be done away with and that games without multiplayer are more original and interesting.

And the only ones interested in Titanfall are the CoD crowd and Xbots who gloat that it's exclusive. My cousin got into the beta and we both were very disappointed; the trailer at E3 bored me to tears, so I wasn't surprised that it was disappointing.

Re: Wow, the PlayStation 4 Has Sold Over 5 Million Units

Just as I predicted, Sony hit 5Mil before launching in Japan. If how quickly pre-orders were bought up are indicative of demand, then I expect Japan to take that number to at least 6.5Mil during the PS4's first week on shelves (not that they're ever on shelves).

Microsoft's best bet at catching up is Titanfall and I don't see people spending $500 dollars to play one game, especially if they already have a 360. Even so, I still doubt Titanfall would be much help once Second Son makes its debut.
