The games assets are reportedly being preserved, so Sony might just be putting it off for a while. If Cory and his team want to make a game, then they need to do a Kinetica sequel for the PS4 & Vita or an original Vita game.
I have a feeling that the "inFamous looks like Prototype" crowd would have had a field day with this, so while it is sad, I'm glad we avoided all that bull - and like I said before, we might still be getting the game in the future.
I was expecting to see a little more gameplay, but I was whelmed (Dick Grayson says it's a word!) by what was shown off. I'm really excited to see how this cover system works out because it could change everything we've ever known.
@Gamer83 Microsoft is doing worse, they only have Titanfall (which is behind Second Son) and after that there isn't really much of anything. And it's only been what, 4 months since DriveClub was delayed? I'm as excited for DriveClub as the next guy, but have some patience.
As for Sony as a whole, the PlayStation division is doing well, it's the other struggling divisions that are costing Sony money.
If you want to switch sides because Sony refuses to announce vaporware or a slew of third party multiplats, then you're welcome to.
Can I declare my allegiance to Celestial Being instead?
Seriously though, I'm really hyped for this game. I haven't played DW:Gundam since the PS2, it's not that I didn't enjoy it, I just never got around to playing any of the sequels.
@rjejr I see sales slowing down, but not tremendously. The Vita TV and PS4 are 2 totally different systems, so they obviously aren't going to perform the same.
Speaking of the Vita TV, I wouldn't be surprised if sales actually went up a little after the launch of the PS4.
@Shaolin What are you talking about? How are Sony and Microsoft working together? What do Samsung, Apple and Amazon have to do with anything?
And the big question: Where did you get this idea that Sony and Microsoft don't have the intellect to deal with a 3 horse race (because Nintendo still counts)?
Sony shouldn't respond, they're already selling systems faster than they can make them, I'd hate to see what would happen if the PS4 were more affordable.
@rjejr From what we saw before the delay, DriveClub wasn't ready to hit shelves, so I doubt Evolution delayed it just so it could launch alongside the headset.
As for Watch Dogs, I doubt Ubisoft delayed that because of GTA V, it didn't look like it needed anymore work, but maybe it just wasn't at a level where Ubisoft would feel comfortable releasing it.
Not really a fan of side scrollers, but I might pick this up seeing as I've had a man-crush on Strider since Marvel vs Capcom 2 (arcade version). Judging by everything I've seen and heard, I can't help but think that this would work great on the Vita.
From what I've heard, the OR isn't coming to consoles, just PC and mobile. If that's true, then PlayStation gamers would have no alternate choice meaning they'd be pretty much forced to buy Sony's product if they were interested in VR - of course, Sony would still need to attach a reasonable price to it.
It's going to be a hit with the CoD crowd (so 12 year olds and girls), but Microsoft made a huge mistake when they decided they wanted it on the 360. Titanfall was their best bet at closing the gap, but just like with their one year headstart over the PS3, they squandered it.
Even if people buy an XBONE just for Titanfall, I highly doubt that it'd be enough to make a difference. If Microsoft were smart, they'd have cut some deal with Ubisoft for The Division content.
@Bliquid I fail to see how Sony is being self-satisfying, but that's not important right now.
I've seen many people refer to Titanfall as a system seller, but I don't see it. If it were an XBONE exclusive, it might be able to sell a lot of systems, but the fact that it's on PC and the 360 are going to impact One sales.
Seeing as it's just Call of Duty with mechs, it makes sense that everyone would be wetting themselves over it. I've yet to see anything that impresses me, even after playing the beta, which was as overwhelmingly underwhelming as I expected it to be.
Kratos is far more experienced and has a wider variety of weapons at his disposal, Dante wouldn't stand a snowballs chance in hell against the Ghost of Sparta - Not to mention that Kratos has a bigger moveset than Dante.
Dante's enemies also can't compare to enemies like Kronos or Aegeon, Kratos could kill everyone in the DMC universe with his eyes closed.
@JMC Dante is about as cool as a wet paperbag and he can't think of a witty one-liner to save his life.
Aside from no multiplayer or co-op, I've yet to hear a single negative thing about this game. I think it's really cool how R@D made the weapons technologically plausible, it makes me wonder why these guns don't actually exist.
@rjejr And that's fine, but it seems like a lot of people just want multiplayer gone or to be exclusive to "generic shooters." It's like they don't seem to realize that you're not forced to play online or they go with the "multiplayer takes away from the singleplayer component" argument, which can't be proven.
@3Above @Visiblemode I've noticed that as well, especially with IGN. Call of Duty is as generic as white walls, but I never hear them give Activision any crap for it.
I've also started seeing that people are now inexplicably opposed to multiplayer after it was revealed that Infamous and The Order are singleplayer only. In an article on DualShockers, one of the editors went so far as to say that multiplayer should be done away with and that games without multiplayer are more original and interesting.
And the only ones interested in Titanfall are the CoD crowd and Xbots who gloat that it's exclusive. My cousin got into the beta and we both were very disappointed; the trailer at E3 bored me to tears, so I wasn't surprised that it was disappointing.
@Confused_Dude People, especially gamers, love to complain about little things. If they were really so interested in The Order, they would have known all this long ago.
Just as I predicted, Sony hit 5Mil before launching in Japan. If how quickly pre-orders were bought up are indicative of demand, then I expect Japan to take that number to at least 6.5Mil during the PS4's first week on shelves (not that they're ever on shelves).
Microsoft's best bet at catching up is Titanfall and I don't see people spending $500 dollars to play one game, especially if they already have a 360. Even so, I still doubt Titanfall would be much help once Second Son makes its debut.
I'll need to see more before I can get hyped, I do like the premise, though. I just wish characters like Scourge or Crumplezone would make an appearance from time to time.

Awesome, I'm still really excited for this. I really hope to see some gameplay, I wanna see just how far it's come graphically.

Shadow Fall is doing way better than I expected, it's even outperforming Battlefield, Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed.
@MrHilster The free copies of Knack were counted, too.

I got scared for a second, but then I read the article and saw that sadly, people were getting layed off rather than the studio shutting down.

@DaftPlayStation It doesn't matter, if the rumors are true, then Sony's VR headset is set to give it a run for its money.
@eLarkos The OR isn't even that good, though. It's pretty cool, but it's criminally overexaggerated, Sword Art Online is partially to blame there.

I really want to play Dream Club, I wish Japanese games weren't so niche, us western fans always get shafted because of it.
Now that I've done my whining for the day; I love the look of the Japanese store, the colors are vivid and soothing.
