The textures are actually worse on the remaster (look at the sleeves). Not only that, but the OG is only 7 years old, AND can be played on the PS5. This is a pointless waste of resources, i'll stick with the OG.

So it's forced online, there's no option to race offline?

@Truegamer79 The original AC had its faults, but it far from sucked. It is still one of my favourite AC games.

I didn't even know this game had released. Not that it makes any difference, nothing about it appeals to me.

At the current price point of AAA games, I tend to wait for a price drop. I have such a big backlog of games, that I don't NEED to buy a game as soon as it's released.

I never got around to completing the first game, I will need to sort that out before getting this.

I wonder if those predisposed to outrage, will try to cancel this one as well. Just another reason to buy it and support the Devs.

Definitely will be trying this. As much of a fan of Sniper Elite as I am, it's nice to see Rebellion do something different.

I buy only physical games, but GAME make it tougher to support them, when they charge for delivery to store. I think it's around £4.99.

I still buy physical only, there have been some digital only games, that I would have bought on physical, but not many.

Here's a little advice for Sony, and this is free: show, don't tell. So far, it's the same old service, just dearer, and when my subscription expires in December, I won't be resubbing.

I would laugh if it wasn't so anti-consumer. It's so blatantly miserly, we can't even copy PS5 saves to USB, to force us to sub to PS+. No, no way.

@Nyne11Tyme The PS2 and PS3 doesn't deserve that disrespect. Going on what I have seen so far, this game looks so bad, that it must have been cobbled together to hold on to the rights.

No. Generation Zero, is good, but I already have it. Black Desert is an MMORPG, so that's a not for me. And the Saints Row reboot, is trash by all accounts. If this is a sign where the more expensive PS+ is heading, then I am glad that I will be letting mine lapse in November.

I won't be resubbing. Not having access to cloud saves will take some adjusting to, at first.

The only real benefit I got, was cloud storage. Being able to redownload save data that I had deleted x months ago was handy. I rarely took advantage of the free games, as most of the time, I already had them, or weren't interested in the lineup. And I don't play online that much anymore. When my Essential subscription expires in December, I had been considering not renewing it. Thank you, Sony, you just made my decision all the more easier.

And here endeth my journey with the series. I'm not interested in digital only.

@rjejr Speak for yourself. When digital becomes the only option, I will stop buying games. There have already been digital only games that I haven't bought. It's quite easy when you have willpower.

Removing the names of those no longer part of the studio, that's not an accident. A ****** thing to do, as they each hand a hand in the games creation.

Firstly, I wouldn't have bought the digital deluxe edition, because it's digital. And secondly, the suits all look like crap. I'll stick to the standard suit this time around.

I haven't seen that much criticism of this game. Other games have had a much worse reception from the gaming community. The suggested negative reaction in this article has been overblown.

But what about the price? Will it be cheaper than the current disk version PS5? I'll hold off on buying a PS5 until the price is revealed, then I will buy whichever one is cheapest.

@jrt87 I thought that external drives could now be used on PS5. If not, then I guess that is Sony's way to drive more people to sub for cloud storage.

My PS+ Essential sub is due to expire this month, and I am questioning why I would need to renew it. I already no longer play multiplayer games, and with a couple of external storage devices at hand, I don't even need the cloud storage.

Also, Haunting Ground is one of my favourite (PS2) games.

The review is a re-publish. When I played it, which was, I don't know... maybe a year after release, it was running quite smoothly. I don't remember any issues with it by that point.

Make COD XBox exclusive for all I care. I have played my share of COD, I can survive just well without playing another one.

I have had a love/hate relationship with Assassins Creed. I liked AC1, in spite of its limitations. AC 2, Brotherhood and Revelations, though superior to AC1 on a technical level, just didn’t appeal to me as much. I lost interest in the series during AC3. I didn’t play Black Flag until some time after its release, but it quickly became my favourite. I didn’t like Rogue at the time, but in the years since, I have grown to appreciate it. By the time that I got around to Unity, it was in a playable condition. Syndicate, like Black Flag, quickly became one of my favourite AC games. Origins, I never finished. I didn’t like the forced gear score, and I guess I lost interest. I haven’t played Odyssey or Valhalla.

If they take it down, can you still play it, or is it removed from your console? I'm on Essential, for the cloud storage more than anything. If there was an even cheaper tier than Essential, that was just cloud storage, I would go for that instead.

It makes no difference to me. I still buy disks. I only subscribe to Essential for (mainly), the added storage and free monthly games to use as a trial run of a game I might be unsure of. There's also online multiplayer, but I find more and more games I am gravitating towards, are singleplayer games.

It goes without saying, but don't buy from CEX. They are selling them for £535, and that's without any games. As if going into their store, and having your nasal cavity hit buy the scene of Eu Du BO, wasn't bad enough, they try to gouge shoppers. £535 for a console, that is in a poorer condition than what CEX would accept.

DLC, as in content cut from the game, just so it could be sold as an add on?

I want to give this a try, but I want to make sure that is in a playable state, that, or the price drops drastically sub £20. Whichever comes first.

Nudging players towards current gen is fine, if they are going to step up production of PS5's hitting the market.

I don't even need to know the score, this is a day one purchase for me. I have gone for the Deluxe Edition.

I enjoyed The Council, and will pick this one up too, in time, when the price drops. It's ridiculous that a new PS4 game, at this stage in its life, costs as much as it does.
