looks like pretty standard fare for a fighting game trophy list these days. Play everything, do everything once or 10 times, 100 trials, 500 battles, minimal online. What has me intrigued is that Deadpool trophy. Hmm

This insinuates playing games from a disc is superior. It is not. It hasn't been in a long time. My music collection went from CD to digital pretty fast. Spotify is where I listen to everything, I own nothing and I'm okay with it. The same thing is happening with games (has been since the PS4) and I'm okay with that too.

I'm gonna wait for the trophies to leak before I make a decision. If it's trial heavy I'm gonna have to think about it. I like what I've played so far. Lots to wrap your head around. I've never been great at tag fighters but I love MvC2 so I will probably give this a go, trials and all if necessary.

@Mr_B021 The PlayStation 4 alone drove 46.8% of Fortnite's total revenues. These kinds of figures are what makes all the online chatter soften for Sony. They have a nice comfy cushion to fall on.

@MasterChiefWiggum this is pretty much where I'm at. I've been ready to buy exclusively digital since the early PS4 days, they just need to protect us better. My confidence in the PSN is shaky. I need to see solid strides from Sony to ensure our accounts are safe and our licences for games turn into ownership of games.

Is it crazy to think that 3rd parties could step in to satiate the 15% of people that still buy physical games? Sony will be making a separate disc drive right? This is just the cyclical nature of consumer electronics, everything eventually gets tougher and more expensive to collect over time. A different way will rise that we will all get used to. Remember, before the PS1 we bought all our games on cartridges! It's just evolution, most people will go, some kicking and screaming... but they'll go.

at least they're cleaning up the store before it's the only thing we can use to buy games. I don't really care that discs are going the way of the dodo bird as I buy mostly digital anyways, sucks for the collectors who have to buy a disc drive to play their old games. It's good for the environment though. I wonder how many copies of CoD you can find on garbage island in the South Pacific?

I'm a fan of physical media but if the future is plastic cases with download codes in them then what's the point? Just sell games like gift cards.

I'm quite excited for this. I liked the weird talking gelatinous cube and ribbon. Makes me think this game is gonna be bat ***** crazy. It certainly looks like it has that GoW 2018/Ragnarok hard hitting feel and graphically it looks amazing.

@RadioHedgeFund you can still do all that without earning trophies. The fact that you, RadioHedgeFund, will be able to walk in with max health and wipe out the toughest combat simulations in this game is a joke. No other way to slice it.

I got the platinum in Rebirth, took me 400 hours. The Legendary combat simulations were no joke. A great summertime RPG to get sunk into.
