External HDD support should have been day 1. Everyone knew 500gb wasn't going to be enough. I mean we all complained about the Wii U's 32gb but the games were 1/8 the size at the most and I could buy a usb drive for it day one. But I guess it doesn't matter now that I finally broke down and installed a 2tb in my PS4.
I can hardly wait!! Maybe we can get a slightly less emo haircut or something really awesome like a white outfit. Seriously after getting burned by the one developer I thought I was safe with (Bethesda), I think I'll pass. I'm still excited for the game though. As someone one who's been playing Final Fantasy since the NES, even if they kind of lost me after IX.
I honestly think the only free game I've played for longer than 10 minutes was Infamous first light. I got my ps plus so I could play Destiny and for my kids to play Minecraft. I look at the free games as what they are an added bonus. Most don't really appeal to me but oh well. What I really would like my money to go to is fixing their online infrastructure so PSN isn't down for every major holiday.
All I was really hoping for with DLC was what I got with Skyrim. Dawnguard was a pretty lengthy main quest with some good side quests. Dragonborn was a huge new area and some cool new stuff. Like a respec option. I just hope Nuka World isn't just a 2-3 main quest with a few fetch quests thrown in to pad it out. And really at this point they need to make legendaries their own class of mods that can be removed from an item. I'm sick of grinding for some armour that isn't ugly ass synth stuff and it looks like we may never get mods on PS4.
I would sure like to be able to just delete a game update. You know like on my Xbox 360 a decade ago. Some patches fix one problem but cause 3 more (Fallout 4 I'm looking at you). Also external HDD would have been awesome a month ago before I upgraded my hard drive. I could have gotten a 4tb external for less than the 2tb 2.5" I installed. Also let me for the love of all things good in the universe delete games out of my library.
He kind of reminds me of George Lucas. Revolutionary at first then becomes self- indulgent and forgets what made his early work great. I really hope his new game doesn't turn out like the prequels or kingdom of the crystal skull.
Can we please get a re-spec option. I know there's no level limit but the enemies turn into absolute bullet sponges after about level 85. Bethesda really needs to figure out a better way to turn up the difficulty.
I still haven't gotten around to the first one yet. I bought it for I think $14 two Christmases ago. So I'm sure by the time I get to it there'll be a GOTY for about $20.
How about instead of fixing cap glitches and item dupes they work on all the quest breaking glitches. Also how do my companions get on the roof in Sanctuary? I need a jet pack for that
I really just want mods to correct some of the bizarre choices Bethesda made. Like which clothing and hats can have ballistic weave applied to them. I also really want legendaries to be treated like enchantments were in Skyrim.
I would have much rather be getting a FFVI remake instead of FFVII. VII gets all the love but VI is the best of the series. I mean VII isn't even the best on PS1 that honour goes to IX.
If I compare it to what they did for Skyrim it doesn't quite add up to me. Let's say Automatron = Dawnguard. Except it doesn't. The quest is about 1/4 the length without any substantial side quests. All the crafting dlc = Hearthfire. I'd say they're about equal. And lastly Far Harbor = Dragonborn. Without a doubt, hands down Dragonborn takes it. So I hope Nuka-World is a big piece of content and not just another faction quest line.
I just want mods to fix the little things Bethesda can't be bothered with. Like ballistic weave on one type of fedora but not another, or green shirt and combat boots but not flannel shirt and jeans. I also want ammo crafting like in New Vegas.
I honestly didn't really notice far harbour being worse than the main game. I will say that around the time Automatron released I started noticing the frame rate getting choppy at times.
I've had my PS+ for almost two years now and I think the only game I've played through was Infamous First Light. I just don't have any interest in most of the games.
I honestly didn't even notice until I read this. But keep in mind I also used to play my N64 on a 13" black and white TV. I'll still take choppy frame rates over quest breaking bugs any day.
Seriously Sony is starting to show some of their post PS2 pre PS3 arrogance. I just spent close to $500(in Canada) on a new console not even 2 years ago. Now it may become obsolete in another year or struggle to hit 30 fps on new games. It's this kind of just drink the Kool-Aid attitude that prompted me to go Xbox last generation (and made me choose PS4 over xbone). If I wanted to upgrade my system every couple years I would play on PC.
What I was really hoping for was the ability to get rid of the bloatware I'm forced to see on my home screen. I mean seriously Sony it's starting to feel like an iPhone. I don't surf the internet or listen to music on my PS4, I play games and occasionally watch Netflix. I just want the ability to get rid of stuff I don't use.
This would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that the PS4 ships with a ridiculously small hard drive. At least if it was all on the disc I could delete it when I need space and not have to wait hours for everything to download again when I want to play again.
The sad state of PSN is really starting to make me wish I'd bought an Xbox One instead. I'm not sure if PSN outages get more press but it doesn't seem like Xbox live goes down every few days.
I would really like to see Little Big Planet 3; but that's not going to happen. It will probably be some indies that I can put in my library just in case I feel like playing them sometime down the road. On a completely unrelated note why can't I filter games on the playstation store to only show ps4? I used to be able to.
I would have to go with Fallout 4 personally. Although this is definitely right behind it. I just hope it's more in line with The Witcher or Dragon Age instead of Assassin's Creed.
The PS3 was the only Sony console I didn't own. When it came time to choose between the PS3 and Xbox360 I chose the 360 based solely on the controller. When the time came to upgrade I figured that worked before so I picked up a PS4.
I for one can't wait to drop $500 on Morpheus, a couple move controllers and a game that amounts to a tech demo. It's the cutting edge of gaming. Oh wait that was motion controls, no it was 3D. It doesn't matter I'm sure there's no chance of this being abandoned two years down the road.
That price is ridiculous. I've only bought one season pass it was for Shadow of Mordor. What a waste both story missions were OK at best and nowhere near worth the $25. I assume this one will be like the other Arkham games and have one story mission and a bunch of challenge maps and skins. I hope that season passes eventually go the way of online passes.
I put preorder bonuses right there as the same kind of evil season passes and kicking puppies. It drives me nuts when some content is locked to me because I happen to have picked up a game at the wrong retailer.

Re: Right, Here's What Final Fantasy XV's Season Pass Gets You
Apparently a decade wasn't enough time to get everything on the disc.

Re: Review: Ghostbusters (PS4)
On the bright side you did get to get to vent in the review. Also Ghostbusters 2 had one good thing going for it, the RUN D MC song on the soundtrack.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with July's PlayStation Plus Games?
Honestly I rarely play the free games I just redeem them and keep them in my library for down the road. My backlog is getting ridiculous.
Re: Finally, BioShock: The Collection Has Been Confirmed for PS4
I'll probably wait until a price drop. I've gone this long without playing them what's a few more months.

Re: BioWare Confirms Mass Effect: Andromeda will Warp to PS4 in Early 2017
If they did a remaster I want the first to play like the third. Except I want to be able to equip my companions in whatever armour I choose.
