Enthusiasm for The Last of Us has returned in full force following all the news and impressions surrounding the sequel. The Last of Us: Part II has a February release date, and received unanimous praise in recent previews. What's more, the original game is currently available as part of PlayStation Plus.
Perhaps in celebration of both, Sony has released the above video. It first shows Ellie at the start of The Last of Us Remastered, but she gradually morphs into the enraged 19-year-old who stars in the follow-up. It's a little bit eerie, but just goes to show how much she's changed from the first title to the second.
What do you think of this new video? Will you be checking out The Last of Us Remastered before the sequel arrives in February? Grow up in the comments below.

It's great, very simple but very effective.
I think it's great, even if Ellie kinda resembles Gollum at the end.
But can she swim now
@sajoey No, but she can carry her own ladder.
Now show me a young joel than i will be impressed.word up son
@Octane progress is progress 😂😂
You think I'd let you do this on your own?
@sajoey Joel no longer can swim. Roles reversed lol
Ellie was a badass at 14 years old, God help anybody who's crossed her in these last 5 years.
@sajoey That's boats were made for. Word to Kratos.
Oh.. That was gooood!
She kind of looks like a psychotic killer near the end. One who has just given up on humanity and is over all the crap.
It's great but freaky.
@Turismo4GT If the trailers are anything too go by in this world everyone will turn into a gollem in the end.
@DigiTM Watch the older trailers and its not so strange.
