@Mikey856 well I haven't played it. I've played HZD and GoW, I'm presuming HFW can't be too much different from it's predecessor. Got bored if both of them within hours. Generic open world checklist, repetitive fetch quests, terrible story. Ghost of Tsushima was far better than both. I'm just worried sony will lean too heavily into these IPs as I've no interest in them and a lot of others feel the same

Very excited to hear this, but If they release half a game like 15 I'll be really annoyed. First time I played 15 at release the story was so hard to follow and get invested in, I played it again last year with all the dlc and it was so much better, what it should have been at launch.

16 is the only reason I'm happy to keep my ps5 for now, couldn't care less about the overhyped HFW and GoW. They aren't that good and not worth being the flagship exclusives

These sales charts always have around 5 if the same games constantly. Why do people keep buying the same games over and over, year on year? I'm looking at you, switch users

@OrtadragoonX completely agree, I'm busy too. Of course I understand the appeal of it but a lot of fear of losing in these older games was having to repeat sequences and that will be ruined if save points become obsolete. It's definitely subjective though so I know where you're coming from

I'm loving the Final fantasy 7 new threat mod. Any fans of the original game I would highly recommend trying it out. So many changes to the gameplay and story.

Surprised save states are so popular with people. A lot of retro games were not designed to have states so this feature would break the gameplay loop in a lot of older games

I couldn't care less about the release date until I know what games. It's like saying a movie is coming out on a certain date but not knowing what the movie is, madness...

@GADG3Tx87 I agree, I am not happy with the direction they are going in. Completely understand it's subjective and some people like it but it's not for me.

I've been contemplating getting a series x too and just go through their exclusives as I haven't played most of them

Sony are losing my respect more and more every day. Next there will be ads on the ps5 home screen.
Its sad what's happened in gaming within the last 15 years. Microtransactions, season pass, on disc dlc, free to play, loot boxes, nfts and now ads are going to be the next money making scheme. This won't be restricted to free to play forever, it's just them testing the waters.

Never could get it into GoW or horizon for that matter. Now it seems Sony is leaning heavily into these IPs and making live services a bigger priority. Really starting to regret buying a ps5

I've always loved the digimon games ever since digimon world on the ps1. Digimon world next order was amazing although admittedly not for everyone. I'm hoping they bring some of the digimon world elements to digimon survive 🤞
