We might be going through a bit of a quieter period for huge Sony blockbusters right now, but there are plenty of cracking games heading to PlayStation 5 and PS4 over the coming months – you just have to know where to look.
Thankfully, that's where we come in. Below, we've been busy preparing our usual roundup of intriguing games headed to both PS5 and PS4 over the next couple of months. Have a scroll and see if anything takes your fancy.
Evil Dead: The Game - May 13th
Inspired by all three original Evil Dead films, Evil Dead: The Game has you playing through fan-favourite characters from the series' universe including Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur and more, all inside an "over the top" action game. You'll be playing as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds – and co-op and PVP multiplayer are available, too. It's certainly one to watch out for if you're an Evil Dead fan...

Sniper Elite 5 - 26th May
The latest instalment in Rebellion's tactical shooter series, Sniper Elite 5 takes players back to 1944 when elite marksman Karl Fairburne makes contact with the French Resistance. Upon discovering a secret Nazi project that could cause devasation, you'll need to fight your way through real-world locations in what the developer is calling the series' "most immersive maps yet". Fans of the series will know what to expect here, and we don't have long to wait for more...
The Quarry - 10th June
From the studio that brought us the excellent Until Dawn comes The Quarry, a teen horror where your decisions – will you save your friends or run for your life? – really matter. Incredibly, the game promises 186 different possible endings. Here's a quick synopsis:
As the sun sets on the last day of summer camp, the counselors of Hackett’s Quarry throw a party to celebrate. Things quickly take a turn for the worse.
Hunted by blood-drenched locals and something far more sinister, the teens' party plans unravel into an unpredictable night of horror.
Disgaea 6 Complete - June 28th
As comical and frankly absurd as ever, Disgaea is back on PS5 and PS4 with a new 'Complete' edition of Disgaea 6 – a title that launched on Switch last year. Touted as the most accessible Disgaea yet, it's got loads of quality of life upgrades, and for the first time in franchise history, it uses 3D character models instead of sprites. Ooer.

Nothing mind blowing maybe a few filler titles at best. Sony you had better have a game showcase planned for May or June to show us new games coming this fall and Q1 and Q2 next year and teases for games in development coming in the next two years.
MY LITTLE PONY !!! 😃
Trek to yomi and then a few maybes I'll wait for reviews on. Also have new plus not getting hopes up but hopefully few games on there I want to play.
I’m still busy with a bunch of earlier and backlog titles, but there’s actually a decent bit I personally like that I know won’t be everyone’s tea. Mainly Sifu, DNF Duel, Trek to Yomi, and (the only one im probably gonna check out immediately) Capcom Fighting Collection.
Trek to Yomi for me in May.
Can't wait for Sniper Elite 5. Probably my favorite series when it comes to "AA games". But I'm looking forward to the Quarry also. I don't mind a bit of a slow summer. There should be plenty time to clear the good ol backlog a bit
Finally Disgaea 6 in English on a proper console! I really should play Disgaea 5 finally, huh.
Evil Dead and The Quarry looking good, imo.
Nothing really interesting here. Good thing though, i'm still working on my 180 game backlog, and brought it down from 185 already this year in between new games
@RavenWolfe81
Agreed, looking like a cool summer for horror fans 😎
A PS5 port of the final Vita game, Ultra Mission, comes out May 1.
Edit: Ultra Mission is crossbuy between Vita and PS5. As far as I'm aware, it's the only such title.
I'll be buying all of these when they're on sale for dirt cheap...need to save money for Xenoblade 3 in July.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising ($14.99 PSN) - May 10
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong ($49.99) - May 19
The Ascent ($29.99 PSN) - May 26
Kao the Kangaroo ($29.99 PSN) - May 27
The Quarry ($69.99) - June 10
Sonic Origins: Digital Deluxe Edition ($44.99 PSN) - June 23
Disgaea 6 Complete: Deluxe Edition ($69.99) - June 28
Outriders: Worldslayer Edition ($59.99) - June 28
Nothing here that really wows me to get it day 1. Some ill wait for reviews and maybe get them on sale and some I'll try on gamepass
Sniper Elite 5 is definitely interesting. But not sure about a day 1 purchase. Have to finish a few games before that.
And I'm so unsure about SiFu. I was interested, the physical release took too long, in the meantime I'm not that hyped anymore.
Trek To Yomi, Evil Dead and Sniper Elite 5 (PS5) already on pre-order
By the way. For anyone interested...
Vampire The Masquerade-Bloodhunt (PS5) is free on the UK store at the moment
This is fine, nothing here to take my attention away from elden ring and my backlog for the next couple of months. Unless stranger of paradise goes on sale 🤞
