When is the update for the improved police spawning? I couldn't continue when I realized how awful it is at the moment

If the game was free to play and then gated off with micro transactions then I would say 8/10 could be a fair score, but this game is full price. This shouldn't be glossed over with a shoulder shrug. But whatever, who takes critics scores seriously nowadays, 7/10

I've beat the game twice but to be honest I regret going through it a second time. The novelty certainly wears off. The combat is super shallow and it really shows with multiple playthroughs. If you haven't played it before and are a fan of Dragonball it's def worth a shot but I can safely say I will never play this again

@WadeIsInsane incredibly anti consumer. Way too much of a risk purchasing new ip live service games when they can just stop working with no repercussions for the companies making them. And this is where Sony is investing big in, great....

So does this mean that people who paid money for the game can no longer play it?? Wtf will they get a refund or something? Once a game is purchased at least some form of it should remain playable

Absolutely loved the LoK games when I was younger. The story and the cinematography was easily on par with games today. Would love a conclusion to the original story but I would say a reboot is probably more likely. Remasters of the original games for modern consoles would be great too

Well like most of us on here I don't care about cod but we can't ignore the sales. Seriously though who actually thought that Microsoft was going to spend that crazy amount of money and not gain any advantage for it? It's screwed over us playstation owners but that's business

@get2sammyb ok of course it's not the same game exactly but you know what I meant by saying that. There are so many comparison videos that show the game is pretty much identical to previous ones going back at least 5 years though, same bugs and all. I think last years Madden 21 they even forgot to remove the Madden 20 banner from the stadiums which is just lazy. There's not much you can do to change the basic mechanics of the game so it's understandable that it's the same to some extent but then instead add new modes and other features that make it worth buying besides the roster update. I think a 7/10 is very generous for what innovations have been made since the previous game but that's just my opinion and you have a different one.

@Titntin can't speak for anyone else but I have an equal amount of vitriol the tlou remake and fifa and madden. These titles stagnate creativity and are not good for the industry in the long run

@Niktaw ya that step in the right direction bit was hilarious 😂 I dunno I think 7/10 is just a safe score to give and then just move on and give the exact same game a 7/10 next year again. I didn't see the push square Madden 21 review but good on whoever reviewed it for showing some honesty

Angry Joe's review of this shows the game hasn't changed in years, same animations, assets since at least Madden 17. Precision passing was also a feature they took out of the game a few years ago only to add it again as a "new feature". I'm very surprised push square has not noticed this game is basically the same as last year just a roster update and then they give it the meme 7/10 score. Doesn't help gaming websites credibility

@Martsmall I dont blame you, raising prices is just another terrible news story about Sony and it's hard to keep track of them all. All the moves that are being made point to expensive hardware, free to play live services and mobile games with a tiny drip feed of single player experiences. An absolute joke since sony accrued it's fanbase by having fantastic single player exclusives but they are now just chasing the money

@Amnesiac ok yes true there are games such as visual novels out there like that but saints row isn't one of them. So my point saying the comment about this game is childish and bitter still stands. I do get your point that some games can be less about the gameplay though so you're right in saying gameplay doesn't always have to be the deciding factor but for the majority of games, gameplay is the most important

@Amnesiac we are talking about a game here though. A film I could understand because there's less interactivity and you can enjoy whatever political statement it's making. Games have much more to judge than just it's story and characters. Gameplay should always be the main deciding factor, nothing else

I loved the game and hope the movie does well but subtitles is a big no no for me. It's annoying having to read especially during a fast action sequence. Unfortunate as I would have loved to watch it

@SuperPotato316 that excuse is getting tired now. Most people continued to work during the pandemic, I understand certain delays but this is unacceptable and a chip shortage shouldn't affect planned games coming out. If there was an issue Sony would have been well aware before releasing the console. They knew there would be hardly games but released it anyway.

Sony can u please just focus on making actual ps5 games that I can actually play on my ps5 and take advantage of the ps5 hardware?? What an absolute scam this generation has been. Honestly imagine any other generation over 2 years in and it has only a handful of games made specifically for that hardware. The Ps5 just feels like the ps4 pro 2, an absolute joke. I was fooled by the "supply shortage" into trying to get one asap but god I wish I waited as my ps4 would have been able to play everything I wanted to in these last 2 years

You can bet your ass god of war won't be thrown into these bundles. Forbidden west was a poor game imo with a god awful cringe fest of a story. Sony knows it's not most people's taste so they have to bundle it to increase numbers

Many are happy with this new direction by WB also. They lost a lot of money over the last few years releasing woke trash and at the end of the day people voted with their wallets.

Well since the ps5 has been out since 2020 and there's like 5 ps5 console exclusive games out there is an absolute joke. I've had my ps5 for over a year and have not played a ps5 console exclusive because the ones that are released don't interest me very much at the price they are going for. I'm certainly not as engaged as I was with this anti consumer service

@nookie_egg I loved digimon next order as someone who played the original digimon world on ps1 it brought back some great memories. Besides that though it's a really solid game.

Shin megami is less than 20 euro on Amazon and other outlets by the way so PSNs 'deal' is pretty crap really

I'm playing my ps3 atm because my ps5 is basically a waste of time and money. The catalog on the ps3 store is sooo much better than these new tiers. You can get a ps3 with a ton of games for around 100 euro on ebay which is way better than wasting time on these god awful subscriptions. Just my opinion

I strongly recommend if someone sees a game they are interested in on sale, google it first and see if there are better deals on other storefronts. That's what I usually do and it's worked out really well. A lot of times the games are much cheaper on Amazon and the likes

Thirdly, as I mentioned in my comment in this article, how can we trust sales numbers when the game is bundled in with a console and people have no choice but to buy it. It will clearly inflate the numbers. There is no way you can argue with that logic but hey I guess you can try 😉

I wish sales did not count the ps5 bundle. That does not show people's interest as many people could have bought it just for the ps5. It makes the chart meaningless tbh

Now this is a perfect game for a remake and the difference is staggering between the 2 versions. Unlike a certain other game getting a remake this year which is basically a waste of the developers time.

As a person who has completed ff7 too many times to count I'm ok with them going in a different direction this time. It's really cool how sephiroth knows he loses in the original game and wants to change his fate

Wow.. they really knocked it out of the park with this showcase. Crisis core was amazing, the story I still sometimes watch in movie form on YouTube. Cannot wait for this

@naruball a few months? Tlou2 didn't come out a few months ago. They could have been spending this time creating a new IP not rehashing a previous game that most people have already played and at full price. It's lazy and if you and others think otherwise then that's why they will keep getting away with it, congrats
