@Matroska by the looks of things there are a ton of places to wander around in your free time. Plus the enemy models are being made from scratch and are actually the demon models as opposed to the shadows we are used to fighting in the last few Persona games. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's quite possible negotiation will be put in to get more personas as opposed to the usual tarot card system.

I can wait. Its only the number one game on my hype list.

@tenderbeefcake all Atlus RPGs are worth a look. They're super hardcore and full of fun themes and characters.

To me Vanillaware's best work is Muramasa, but Dragons Crown and Odin Sphere are awesome too. Really really excited for this one.

I've adjusted to Northbot. While he is no Dinkformer he gives just enough more context to certain things where I actually prefer him..

@consolfreak1982 but it's confirmed 2015.... I pestered Atlus enough and they swear 2015. It may be a simultaneous release worldwide too... Except for Europe of course.

I think they've decided to just release expansions to the original base frequently.. I doubt we will be seeing a Destiny 2 any time soon. If Bungie can pump out good content then it is all fine by me!

In all seriousness, the best advice I have to anyone wanting in on the Metal Gear action with no prior experience is to get good. Because I'm using my same old tricks I've always used in all the other Metal Gear Solids without any hitches. This game is perfect.

@gingerfrog you mean Soul Edge. I had the arcade board for that not too long ago but decided to use the machine to make a Radiant Silvergun.

Well, I'll be downloading it tonight after I play some more MGSV. I feel like there's nothing to worry about save file-wise.

Good thing my birthday is October 8 (2 days after MGO launches), so I'll be on it still for sure.

I'm glad they fixed it up. I'll get around to playing it after.... MGSV, Witcher 3, another run of Destiny, and J-Stars.

@rjejr dude, the microtransactions are pointless and only for those who are super impatient.. There's absolutely no need to drop any extra cash after buying the game. Also he isn't leaving over that. He's leaving because he asked too many questions about their work ethics and made the age old mistake of talking about other projects other than Metal Gear.

There's some decent discounts for PS+ too.

@SonyInfinity I wasn't sure if the servers on the game would block American IPs or not.

Ever since I learned the whole story (spoiler), like how the Traveler is actually a bad thing that creates the Vex and how there was originally more places on earth to go to and meet interesting characters that actually seem cool and how the end was supposed to involve breaking into the Traveler and killing it.... I can only hope these will be added in the future.

I can totally download it on my Japanese account, right??

@Goob yeah, it's really a good idea to play at least MGS3 and Peace Walker before playing this one. Although knowledge of the entire series will make you have many happy moments.

Do I feel bad for Mad Max though. Looks cool but it comes out the same day as MGSV... That must hurt.

Picking up my Metal Gear at 11 tonight.

It frustrates me that so many people who have rejected Metal Gear before are all over it.. Not only that but they have copies already and I don't how is this fair? Been a fan pretty much my entire life so I am way too pumped for it. I feel that if you're going to be playing this one you should check out the others too..

In all seriousness though, after playing a good amount of this and messing with the editor, I am quite happy with this game. It's a good stealth game with some really good style.

So far so good.. Although people with poor connections make some fights a serious hassle.

Lots of fun.

I wonder how the kings of slashing will manage AoT... It has potential but ultimately it's how they execute it.

@irken004 When he went to Square Enix to convince them to put Lightning into KH3 alongside other infinitely more important FF characters and was blinded by the light.

I'll let you in on something a member of Atlus told me, Atlus wants this game to surprise us, and they're afraid that if they put out any more trailers then things will become spoiled.

I've got at least 35-40 hours on the Japanese server before they blocked me.

The game on PC has our IPs blocked, but I will still give it a shot on the PS4!
