There's a new patch available for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster on PlayStation 4 that fixes a couple of annoying issues that, to be totally honest, we never knew existed. Disregarding our obvious ignorance, the 30MB update clears up two specific problems that players have apparently been shouting about since the collection launched earlier this year.
The first fix should stop environmental music from resetting after the end of each battle, meaning that you'll be able to better appreciate the brilliant soundtrack. The second promises 'truly random' number generation, which should stop certain battles and events from playing out in the exact same way every time they're encountered.

I also never noticed any of those - wish they would patch it to become cross play (not only cross save) LOL ^^
The soundtrack resetting after battles really bothered me because I felt like I couldn't ever listen to the entire song. I've always been a huge fan of the FF soundtracks, and I own many of them on CD.
I just assumed that was the way the devs intended it to be. Now that I've just recently finished the game they go ahead and patch it.

The RNG thing is apparently only a problem if you're farming endgame drops off bonus boss type enemies. Beyond that its not really important. (Granted, Trophy Hunters know its pain all too well because some drops are needed to get some trophies, at least I think so...)
Oh, that said the RNG also controlled boss attack orders and any accuracy/critical hit chances, so players may find some bosses easier/harder because now repeated attempts may not play out in the exact same way.
I think people just like to nit pick on the littlest of things,As far as not being able to earn trophys because of certain items being unattainable,thats simply not true because I bought the game when it was released,and never had issues with any trophys or items.I was able to collect everything the game had to offer.The RNG plus the so called music loop didnt bother me none.Anyhow, at least they did this update for the ones who live and want everything in A perfect life.Im working on 10-2 at the moment and Im looking foward to Final Fantasy 15.

Nice add, the random generator will help big time with variety. This happens on the vita as well.
I never would have noticed, but good to know this will be fixed when I get around to owning a PS4.
the update also made the catcher nchocobo training harder. so delete it to get the sigil with a better chance of predicting the crappy birds. the reason i say this is because the rng (random number generation) directly influences your "luck" in this mini game.
